Very nice Hannyabal! His pose is very dynamic and I love the detail on his extended hand!

Do you have a picture where you displayed them all together ?They're on various shelves around my room… and living room... and entire damn house. There's a picture with all the big bads from Arlong to Moria gathered together on my deviantart, if you're interested (it's the one in the volume 54 Usopp's Gallery :D )

hannyabagi is probably the greatest thing i've seen all month.
if you start selling these things, i want an ivancroc.
-
I Love Your Hannybal ;_____;

Why are your ideas always so awesome, e1n? 3
djakgha; You are so amazing, CCC. o___o That Hannybal is great! I absolutely love the hand. <333 And I love how much detail you put into that hair.

Would that be Ivankov's body with Croc's head (if so, which body? male or female?) or vice versa?
I'm kind of sorry I haven't been making heads detachable from the start… it would open up all sorts of amusing possibilities and opportunities to make alternate expressions T_T

Thanks for all the love… I'm so glad there are people in this world who can get a kick out of what I do <3

The first time I actually found out about this thread I sat up in the middle of the night for about two hours just looking at your sculptures. They are truly amazing!
-
As if you couldn't guess…
but I still need a color scheme. -
I can't even tell you how much I'm looking forward to Akainu having colors so you can add him . EEEEEEEEEEEEE
-
The VA thing is so AWESOME! And by far, my favorite sculpts are Moria and K.Rool. Frickin' AMAZING! <3
-
WOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!! Those are just amaaaaazing!!! Just…. I'm in awe.... It must've taken such a long time to do all these!! And a lot of patience too... You're truly talented, seriously.
-
So I'm heading back to school in 2 weeks (can't do this art there), but I'm hoping to get in 1-2 more pieces before then.
This next one might be tricky to guess, but the major hints are the stance, and the fact that I tend to stick to who/what is relevant at the current point in the story.
Getting the supplies tomorrow, so expect this one to be done in the next few days.
-
… Buggy? Hmm. I dunno who this one is. o3o I'm sure it's extremely obvious, but I'm just having a blond moment.
-
I'm guessing Doflamingo, and I've got my fingers crossed with how bowlegged it is, that THAT'S who it is fufufufufufu

Im with moon on this. It looks like doflamingo.
-
OH MY GOD I hope to GOD it's Doflamingo xD he's the shit
-
The pose reminds me of Franky's POP, but I know it's someone else. Could be Dofla…
-
have to say my favorite is croc. Do you bake these when your done?
-
The new one… it isn't Whitebeard holding his spear, is it?
-
Fufufufufu.
The real clue was the legs. Only one character is that bowlegged- Doflamingo. Working on him right now (well, on an internet break right now).
I've definitely been considering doing WB though, Hypersock. :Dhave to say my favorite is croc. Do you bake these when your done?
Yup. All baked.

Yup. All baked.
Yummy, baked Croc.

This post is deleted!

I apologize to those who like Oda's colors better. I went with the anime ones. Of course the most annoying part here was the feathers…
Bit o' Progress Shots:
!
Funny face/head madness:
!
-
Oh man the details are incredible, I bet the feathers were a pain XD Awesome work.
And that totally fits Franky XDDDDDDD
-
I tell you, Buggy's head gets everywhere.
-
Franky looks pretty funny there on Doflamingo. Nice sculpt.
-
Doflamingo looks awesome love the detailed feathers good work as always
-
Oh wow! He looks really really good! The feathers must have taken so much patience to make.
Is it just me or is he also a lot more smooth that your other sculpts? I mean, his skin doesn't have fingerprints as far as I can see.
-
I called it!! Sexy Doflamingo is SEXY O_O OH GOD.. soo.. HOT XDDDD I love the blooper pics too, especially the bug-eyed head xD LMFAO!!!
-
Absolutely amazing!!
-
This is one of your best yet. Very professional quality =P
-
I LOVE YOUR DOFLAMINGO ;__; I wish I had a fortune to commission you to do an X Drake ;3; you make such AMAZING models… WOW
-
Ok, Dofla's had his moment in the sun. Who's next? =D
-
lawl. I'm in a 7' x 5' dorm room with no materials, workspace, or oven. Whatever's next won't be happening until the end of December at earliest. Sorry! Hopefully we'll have Akainu's color scheme by then so I can finish that damn Admiral bust set, but if not… at one point or another I've considered: WB, BB, Marco, Iva, Paulie (random I know, and I've never made a full figure of a protagonist), Hannyabal-outfit-wearing/frozen/eaten-by-wolves Bon Clay, Monster Chopper, Gallie-La Kaku, Chimney and Gonbe, Snake form Marigold/Sandersonia, Perona foaming at the mouth and covered in cockroaches, Impel down model, Viewtiful Joe, Kratos, and/or Bowser.
-
Ok. I can say with certainty that Akainu will be done by late December/early January thanks to his colors appearing in opening 12.
In other news, I found myself on a plane ride last week, and having already read the SkyMall, I decided to plan out a potential future project. I think it's pretty self-explanatory.
-
Looks good, but Squardo shouldn't really be on the WG's team.
-
Aww no Garp?
16 :C
-
a one piece chess set? you rock!!
-
I have considered custom chess sets of clay myself, but it's been years since I looked into it and I never would have thought to make one of One Piece. This would be quite awesome =D
-
wow franky really fits Doflamingo's body there :)
-
There is so much great stuff here, so many figures, all the stuff for the Kidd is really cool, and I think my favorites are actually Hanyabel, Kaku, and all the buildings. So much detail, I know it was forever ago, but dayyyum.
-
Looks good, but Squardo shouldn't really be on the WG's team.
My logic was that there's no better role for him than to be a "pawn" of the Marines. Maybe I'd sculpt him crying, hands covered in blood.
Aww no Garp?
16 :C
Oh snap. How did I forget Garp? The thing is… it'd be an insult to him to make him the Queen, and the Bishop, Knight, and Rook positions are all taken by the necessary Admirals/Shichi. Hopefully he'll do a heel-face turn in the manga soon and I can make him the second WB rook. If not that position will probably be taken by Crocodile.
-
Hey CCC, nice works! my favorite is the moria one! too bad aokiji was half-body only.. i guess doing them in realistic height will be too expensive.. can you do nami?
!
-
these One Piece sculptures are Awesome O.O
-
Have you tried doing some single color sculpey versions of some of your stuff? It'd be nice if you could get some of these re-casted to sell. I only just started sculpting myself, and can't get used to super sculpey yet.

I haven't, although I've pondered the possibility. But I wouldn't even know how to do a re-casting… do you know anything about that?
-
Well, it's not as hard as everyone makes it out to be, to be honest. For someone working with the type of models you're doing, I'd really suggest using a higher quality clay, and then painting over with airbrush after you bake them, for a more realistic look in the end. But recasting can be done with different types of material; plastine, rubber, metal, etc. I could pm you a tutorial I used for my first sculpture recast if you want.
-
Sure, I'd love that!
Thanks a lot.big-time amateur here

Finally done. If you combine the labor hours from all the parts, this has obviously been my most time consuming project (about… 6 hours for Aokiji, 8 for Sengoku, 18 for Kizaru, and 15 for Akainu = 47).
I like how Akainu came out, on the whole. The one part that gave me the most trouble and that I didn't even really do right in the end, was the nose. The other guys had really distinctive noses but Akainu's is slightly different in every panel where he appears, so I just had to pick something and go with it. If you can't tell, his left arm (on the right) is turning into magma, and he's creating a small lava pool in his right hand.
Included below are: Akainu alone, Akainu progress shots (and Buggy shot), and the full Marine Headquarters Elite bust set.
