The episode will probably be up by tomorrow, if I had to make a guess. Hell, I'm patient enough though, so it don't bother me.
Though, what was the problem BF had with recording? Kinda curious.

So about the episode! ;D(itself not the download)
What were some of the large highlights in this episode? Been quite awhile since I've seen it.
-Zera
Okay guys I got the answers you wanted.
Those who said Funi never edited past 175 were correct. Well sort of, the edited for 175-180 was done, but the episodes were never spliced together. I can't reveal my source however. Toei did pay Funi to edit through 206 so they are still editing them slowly just in case it gets picked up again in the US.
So we're looking at uncut for a while now ^_^
-Zera
you dont have the entire episode
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/patience
And Bandit, that would be wonderful if there are any big highlights that appear. :D
-Zera
I'm personally waiting for someone to bitch about Robin's additude, for the lulz of coarse.
And thanks B.Frank, big help with the links. =D
-Zera
And for the record, I'd give my left nut for a Boston Market here.
Fucking agree. Ate at Boston's market once and went to heaven. Portland's market here in Maine in the next best thing.

Monster Hunter 3 video-

drooooooool
Pleeeeeeeeeease come out in America! I'd settle for a Down Graphic'd PSP version at this point. O_O
-Zera
Been self teaching myself piano the past few weeks, my chorus teacher likes how well I do when learning songs that he's done in the past by ear.
-Zera
4th edition kind of made my soul hurt. Especially with the thought of rebuying a shit load of books specifically for that edition.
Good friend of mine is currently doing that…but then again he collects the D&D books.
-Zera
Sooo, quick question of curiosity… Any more Steel Ball Run scanlated since volume...6ish? Haven't seen much said on here.
-Zera
Here's praying it'll be released in the USA since it's on a whole new system.
-Zera
The One Piece dub is as good as the Japanese one.
Rage on, kids. Watch me soak in your tears.
EDIT: Ordering tonight, yaay. Been wanting this set for Zoro's past and Mihawk. ;D
-Zera
I'll take the soup.
And shame I don't order YKO anymore…I'd like the last issue as a collectors item...
-Zera
To put it shortly: The climax is hit, and it explains the source of the "cheap copy" vampires.
Also, next month, LAST CHAPTER.
-Zera
Ha, I should have known you guys had nothing.
Everything was all for nothing
Holy shit you're right!
-Zera
Well, too bad. Tis' all I can say.
Now, to be on topic, anyone wanna tell me why this report should be trusted?
Yeah, same here. I need to preorder it as well. I'll do it ether this weekend or sometime this upcoming week. Since I just got enough money to preorder it now. ^_^.
Been tight on money myself…but got a check coming and I'll have enough. >=D School sucks for money, makes me wanna go all emotional and complain endlessly and hope someone cares. =D
-Zera
And I call the proposal of you just shutting up. ¬_¬
But that's just my opinion.
In other subjects, I need to pre-order next set, gr.
-Zera
@Vegard:
I figured, seeing how I keep criticising everyone else's translations, why not just do one myself? (Okay, not really, I was just bored.) Anyway, here's the script: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=812PXUBR
Raw: http://tracker.anirena.com/download.php?id=12518
Can't guarantee that I'll do any more episodes though. It depends on wether I feel like it or not.
Oh, and by the way, I used "Gum Gum" and "Seven Warlords of the Sea", as I'd rather have as few random japanese words in there as possible. If it's translatable, then it should be translated. Thanks to Vegapunk for the song-translation, and One Piece HQ for giving me something to check if my translations were accurate with.
Any criticism accepted, but if it's about me translating the stuff that others tend to leave in japanese, I will ignore it. The ONLY japanese stuff I'll use is character-names and honorifics.
A-fucking-men. Someone else who finds weeaboo'd up translation an eyesore. I'm tolerable to a degree with some groups, but random small groups stuff sometimes makes me wanna gag
Keep up the work.
-Zera
Thanks,
But, readable fonts make the world go 'round.
Other little criticisms I could say, not don't feel like it.
-Zera
My only question to those who have it before I think to download it, do I get a good sub translation wise, or do I get "Leave my nakama alone you bad kaizoku-chanchan baka with keke keke no mi-san!"
If not, great! :D If so, pass!
-Zera
Don't feel like looking through a fuck-ton of pages, so hopefully this was not asked recently.
Haven't watched the series or paid much attention to the series much up until recently. But, has there been a good and consistent fansub group whose done the whole series? I remember hearing about a group using the DVD releases and subbed from there, but never found it.
I ask because most subs blew when the series was being aired. >.<
-Zera
For those who like their volume 9 (chapters 71-95) stuff HQ and actually readable, DRscans released in total so far the first 4 chapters(Up to 75 with magazine numbering) of volume 9, from the tankobon. Yay for fixed art and dialog(which Hirano does for the volume releases)! And yay for non-Max7 versions of these chapters!
Sure the first chapter has been out for a short while and the other 3 were released not too long ago, but I didn't feel like posting about them here for awhile due to the topic being dead. XD
Also, no chapter 94 for August unfortunetely. :getlost: Damn Hirano.
-Zera
Quexinos… That's not the point.
The point is Franky, Sunny and Gears are spoilers so Funi should NOT do movie 9.
What relevance your statement had, I do not have a clue.
http://onepiece.namcobandaigames.com/
Game and DVD are different, but both have the same thing. =P
-Zera
Not to be a party pooper. But I don't think OP being shown online will do much for its Merchandise, like games and such. I know some people just want OP dubbed which is cool, I like the dubbed episodes. But everyone here I am sure has already seen all these episodes in the superior Japanese dub. My point is really, whats the point of having OP episodes in America if we get nothing else.
In other note: Can't wait for September for more. =D Another 13 great episodes, with Sanji's itnroduction in English, which should be goood. XD
-Zera
I love the Funi cast. I like many of the voices more than the original. I would rather watch these first 13 episodes in English than Japanese, they're that good to me. This will probably continue as the DVD's continue to be released, maybe with the exceptions of a few scenes just to hear it and love it, just to immediately watch it again in English.
Don't like and/or agree my opinion? Please click the link.

Now onto a non-blowme note.
Great that the Australian CN is showing the new episodes, can't wait. =D Especially for Calgera.
-Zera
Lot of you suck at jokes. o_O
Wanna know why a fag is always the first one out of a burning building?
! Because his shit is already packed.
-Zera
!
…Drools a river...Haven't had for so long. ;_;
-Zera
Yes, that's where you can read the shitty Part IV scans that I hear so much bitching about, if that's what you're implying. =P Don't know about you, but I can think of quite a few people on this forum alone who have been waiting on us.
-Zera
Sorry for taking so long folks, but we FINALLY have for you a release!
Jojo part IV chapter 1 of volume 29!!
Download: http://www.dongues.net/demonrin/JoJo/%5BDR%5D_JOJO_V29_CH1(266).rar
Sorry for taking so long folks, lots of procrastinating. Again, as said before it isn't true High Quality(like for example the gray scaled version of the would-be coloured pages looking kinda bad), due to the Raws we're using, but they're definitely more readable than the LQ ones from before lots of people complain of. Believe us when we say we wish to still purchase the Kazenbans for part IV to use. XD
But yeah, on that note, enjoy! Criticism, praise, etc welcomed.
Our next release we're hoping to aim for the rest of volume 29, since Rin is off its lazy ass and actually translating again.
-Zera
Reason arguing with Lobster is pointless: It's coming from the same guy who was diehard in believing Luffy says "Gatling Gun".
And don't know if they clips actually show this, but the huge differences between Kuro and Shura is Kuro actually changes his tone on emotion. >.>; Shura always talked like he had a few too many cigs, Kuro only talks like that when he's serious or angry.
-Zera
I mention many things about the dub people have been looking forward to, it's nothing, she mentions a line, she's taunting? =P
-Zera
It's still Sean Hennigen as Gold Roger if I remember the credits exactly(too lazy to check). If it is indeed him, he just used a different tone to it.
-Zera
Using the above post as a reason to post agaaaain…
Finished the second DVD! I might or might not give a detailed review, but overall, VERY impressed with Funimation for this set, for the voices, the dialog, everything!
Here's the list of actor's that have appeared.
Helmeppo: Troy Baker
Kuina: Minca Rial
Morgan: Brett Weaver
Rika: Kate Oxley
Rika's Mother: Cynthia Cranz
Young Zoro: Cynthia Cranz
Lieutenant: Greg Dulcie ChouCHou: Christopher Bevins
Mayor Boodle: Mike Stoddard Kaya: Carrie Savage
Pepper: Cherami Leigh
Carrot: Kate Oxley
Onion: Cynthia Cranz Jango - Kenny Green _Merry - Jerry Jewel
-Zera_
Here's a new one for the list (I'll gather up my list of post soon XD).
Merry - Jerry Jewel.
Hopefully he'll still be Kaku when they get to that point. XD
-Zera
Just to add one more to the new VA appearance.
Jango - Kenny Green
All I can say about his voice. OH FUCKING LAWL!!!! XDD
I should ask an admin to add all that I've listed so far to the first page of the Funi Dub FAQ.
-Zera
Paused mid episode
Think of it this way, we're lucky Bandai isn't distributing it. For that I'm definitely grateful. =P
And a note on Kuro's voice: So sophisticated, yet so fierce! XD
-Zera
Another small list.
Kaya: Carrie Savage
Pepper: Cherami Leigh
Carrot: Kate Oxley
Onion: Cynthia Cranz
Kaya's performance for the first episode she arrived in: Good! Definitely has the weakness in her voice for a sickly girl.
-Zera
What was funny about the commentary, is Sabat was definitely aware of the whole explosion of the fans when they found out his role in the show. Saying he tried his hardest to not sound like anything from Dragonball. He even went as far as jokingly saying "I'm the prince of all swordsmen!!" in his Vegeta voice. XD
Starting on disc two!
-Zera
If nobody else brings it up, I'll be sure to mention it asap once I get to that episode. Listening the commentary currently. XD
-Zera
It was quite good! Fit every situation quite well, from when he's pissed or having a comedy moment.
Out of the first disc, everything is done so damn well.
-Zera
Finished the first disc! Woot!
A note on Cabaji's voice, back when we first heard it, I remember people saying it was too "High' or something like that. Well people's wishes for him to sound more sinister comes true. Greg Ayres deepens his voice a bit and adds a more mature tone to it, making the fight with Zoro quite awesome. XD
And another fear that's definitely null now: Zoro said Oni Giri, and not demon slash. =P So the attacks with these DVD's will probably be more or less untranslated.
Quick tidbits, Mato was one of two translators for this release.
-Zera
Few more voice list to keep track of(hopefully someone took the new ones XD).
ChouCHou: Christopher Bevins.
Mayor Boodle: Mike Stoddard.
Oh, and a quick tidbit, since I haven't seen it mentioned yet.
Official word on Luffy: He's gonna kick Buggy's ass.
No clobbering for him. XD
-Zera
Oh, quick note, since people WILL want to know this(was an issue of curiosity last I remember).
Buggy is deeefintiely using flashy in his dialog. XD Heard it twice in this one episode (5).
EDIT: I take the two times comment back, I'm hearing it more and more as I go on. XD
-Zera
I don't mind Viz's translations that much, but yeah wish their later volumes could get the same feeling as their older ones. For example…
Buggy: We werere gonna go there and raise some hell.
Don't think the version I had said that. o-o
All I know, I'd be angry if I heard what Viz put in a lot of the Kuro arc. X-X
Plus, glad we'll most likely hear "DAMN YOU!" instead of "DARN YOU!" when it comes to Zoro getting slashed by Mihawk. XD
-Zera
The cursing is actually very funny whenever it's used. XD And it's usually in a nice context. XD
It's far better than hearing the other option. CoughViztranslationsCough
-Zera
Helmeppo: Troy Baker
Kuina: Minca Rial
Morgan: Brett Weaver
Rika: Kate Oxley
Rika's Mother: Cynthia Cranz
Young Zoro: Cynthia Cranz
Lieutenant: Greg Dulcie
Since I know some people will want a list. XD
-Zera
Very quick mini reviews on two voices.
Coby - Definitely made him sound almost like his Japanese counterpart, fits him perfectly.
Alvida - VERY good, same goes with sounding near her Japanese counter part, with the gruffness. her saying "Get your ass in gear!" before kicking poor Coby to the next ship especially made me laugh. XD
More as I watch. ^^;
-Zera
So awesome. @____@
I got my set! WOOT!! Although this is already confirmed, there IS indeed staff commentary. XD
-Zera
