Katakuri going full beast mode is one of the coolest single character panels I've seen in awhile.

I can honestly see Isshou catching up with Luffy before reaching DD, but then reaching an agreement and letting him go to destroy DD.

I really like how this arc has an Alabasta feel to it, but also with a Skypia element in there (The prediction from Enel with the tournament).

Soooo, Mingo's clone… Is it made OF strings, or does it just have his strings fused into it with a doll? The later makes a lot more sense to me, but the explanation seems to lean more towards the formal.

I know it's a set-up chapter, bit I kept expecting something awesome to happen, or a cliff hanger, or at least SOMETHING. Guess we need these chapters once in awhile to fully appreciate One Piece though.

Well that was an anticlimactic end to the chapter. I was really hoping Usopp would step up by the end of the chapter, but nope. I wonder if there's a reason why the Tontatta think their captain is the only one who can beat DD, or if that was it.

EDIT: Last page was missing. Oh, the obvious revealing of the toy soldier. Derp. I guess it now makes sense why Sugar needs to go down ASAP. Get your ass in motion, Usopp.

Kind of off topic to what's being discussed right now in this topic, but I seriously hope this arc finally gives Zoro a proper fight. I miss when Zoro actually struggled in his actual fights, and we haven't really seen that since the time-skip.

I totally think Luffy is building an army of pirate allies for the final war in the story(Barto, Chinjou, etc.). It's definitely going to be like how Whitebeard called up all his pirate allies for Marineford, but you know, Luffy instead. That will be amazing.

On another note, I really wish Oda knew how to design significant women better. Seriously, since the time skip all the significant adult women look strikingly similar to Nami and/or Robin.

Oh boy, this is finally looking like the first ACTUAL fight since the time-skip… Excited, hoping it lasts a chapter. I'm honestly thinking something's going to happen after this match that will cause the tournament to close. It's too early for Luffy to be facing off against BB's first commander in the next round.

Not seeing why people are flipping out over the break. It's a bit more frequent than normal, but honestly not by much.

My bets are on the Luffy offering the fruit to his crew, no one wanting it, then end up having the fruit kept on the ship… At least for awhile. It's too great of a plot point to NOT have someone eventually steal it and eat it, hopefully BB for maximum butthurt from Luffy.

The reason no one has gotten One Piece yet is because there is no magnetic pull to it(the log poses can't find it). Now, how did Roger find Raftel then? Well, who knows the sea better than the Sea Kings? Nothing. Roger can talk to the Sea Kings. Want to know who else can talk to them? Luffy. Luffy is literally the only other one(that we know of currently) that can physically find Raftel, which can be done only through the Sea Kings.

No idea if this theory already exists or not, for all I know it probably does. I thought of it a few months back and thought I'd share.

Honestly, after this chapter, I'm really liking Monet. Her reactions to getting called cute were hilarious, she seems more and more Strawhat material now. Imagine the conversations between her and Sanji.

I think Kinemon will most likely end up being some kind of key that lets the Strawhats into Wano Country if they ever end up going there.

Monet would be cool to have on the team though.

I can't be the only one that will be angry if Oda decides to revive the marine soldiers, right?

So I'm not sure if these theories have already been stated by someone else, but I don't lurk nearly enough to know and don't feel like searching around for them. Anyway, I have two theories:

1. Big Mam(or Mom, whatever) DF is the Metabolism fruit. She can eat whatever she wants and just have it not digest, and suddenly have it all digest whenever she wants to gain massive amounts of power(like before a fight). Eating her crew-mates would also contribute to her power. It'd explain why she always wants so much candy, why she ate one of her crew-mates, and why she's so massive. She's just a power-house and a brute. This would also give Luffy a bit of an edge due to him being rubber so physical attacks won't harm him so easily. I think her powers would work a bit like Yami's from Bleach where he ate and rested to the point where he just unleashed it all when he had the chance. Sorry for the Bleach reference, but I figured it might help explain what I mean.
Because Big Mam would be such a power physical attack, and is obviously a defensive tank already, Luffy would probably need to use Haki to fight her properly. I doubt we've seen the limits of what Haki can do and I doubt Oda's explained everything he's wanted to about Haki quite yet, so this would be the perfect opportunity to do so.

2. Luffy will be taken to Raftel by the Sea-Kings. Nobody knows where Raftel is. Nobody. But… what about the Sea-Kings? They would have to know where it is, right? This is why Oda threw us the information that Roger could hear the Sea-Kings and Luffy could as well. The Sea-Kings referenced the last person to hear them was Roger, which probably had them take a liking to Roger, so by some means Roger had the Sea-Kings take him to Raftel. This will eventually happen with Luffy as well towards the end of the story. Maybe Noah will be involved. Hell, sure why not. Let's just involve Noah with this.

I'm writing this at like 3:30AM so excuse grammatical errors or whatever. Too tired to reread everything I just typed.
