Really? Its been years since i've seen the series, so i guess for whatever reason I remembered the scene differently. Still doesn't change the fact that the series is rather bad (IMHO).

I'm in the vast minority when it comes to my opinion of Code Geass as I find the series rather bad. In the end I dropped the series at the massacre part. The reason was I found the main Character to be a arrogant and whiny little bitch. He crossed the line when he used a Britannia princess to kill innocent people while at the same time promoting "justice".

Great timing for me this week since i have an exam first thing in the morining on Wednesday and wouldn't have had time to read the chapter. Therefore i can focus on the exam without wondering what the chapter is about.

It's really not that big of a spoiler at all. You're comparing apples to oranges here. You're talking about spoiling Robin joining the crew versus showing a random image of Doflamingo. We've had random shots of Doflamingo in the past along with other random characters in openings when he never even appeared in those episodes at all.

That's a good point. I always skip the opening after i've seen it once. I forgot they do show random characters.

The reason is that it is a spoiler for the anime only crowd. I got into One Piece via the anime and got spoiled when it came to Robin joining the crew. Still a little annoyed at Toei for that one.

Are you kidding? Each iteration has a ton of differences. The only thing that doesn't change is the premise and basic concepts, since it still works just as well as it did back in the day.

Only someone who is incredibly shallow and close-minded would see its evolution as a terrible design choice.

The first three generations felt the same to me. I stopped paying attention after that. The pokemon design variations became quite similar too in some cases.

Calling me shallow for criticizing as series, really? Pretty pathetic if you ask me. You could have just disagreed with me and left it at that.

The new opening wasn't that great. "We Go" though not great was definitely better. Toei fucked up with the spoiler of Doflamingo. The episode was better than expected as i found the kids on drugs hilarious.

Was unaware of the "catch up" Pieces. This makes toonami's decision more understandable. I think they should start at the episode where Kuzan is introduced instead of 207. Either way I won't be watching since i don't get Cartoon Network.

Toonami picked the worst possible option. The first two arc's potential new fans will be exposed to are the worst canon arc and the second worst filler arc that One Piece has to offer. I believe most (if not all) these potential fans will be long gone come Water 7. First impressions matter Toonami!!

As far as manga/anime franchise goes, OP is uncontested king.

In fact, I think Pokemon is the only rival One Piece has at this moment.

How the hell is Pokemon still that popular? It's the same shit over and over again as all they do is just introduce 100 new pokemon each time despite the fact that at the begining of the series there was only 150.
