Where are you guys buying them? I haven't seen any of Play Asia or YesAsia…
From what I've noticed most people that posting that have it were able to pick them up at a Kinokuniya store.

pandaman made a appearance… again
love how luffy is some nerd until gear seconds the school
brook made appearance! made my day
Well he was on the list on the first page of the comic which I have gathered from my limited Japanese came from a character questioner, that I'm assuming was for who people wanted to see in one of these comics. Shanks got first place followed by Ace, Bon Clay, Vivi, Paulie, Mihawk, CP9, Whitebeard, Pandaman, the Super Karugamo Unit, Brook and Buggy. All which made an appearance.
Is that bookcover?(the item under the poster)
the comic,IMO,seems to be some sort of school setting(if I am looking at it correctly)
can someone tell me how many pages this book has?
Yea, that's a book cover. The magazine comes with a poster, a book cover, two postcards, a puzzle, a sheet of stickers, the cardboard Sogeking mask and another sheet of cardboard for a game that the other side of the poster has the board for it.
It is indeed a school setting, the school is called Mugiwara High School.
The magazine has 226 pages.
That was nice to look at. Not so big on Robin smoking tho. Btw, what is this "Gokusen"?
Gokusen is a popular manga series for women. It's had a TV drama with a sequel made of it as well as an anime series. It's about the daughter of a yakuza family that decides to give up her place as heir to become a teacher and is given a class of delinquents as her first class. Shanks in this comic is definitely supposed to be the main character, Yankumi, with the long hair and wearing her trademark sweats.
Went to the Seattle Kinokuniya yesterday and found the magazine for only $7.70. I took a picture of all the goodies it came with which you can view here.
And later scanned the comic short at the end since I loved the idea it was pretty much an OP version of Gokusen.
Side note question, How often are the dvd's released in Japan? I won't mind if and when KF catches up to the dvd's. It will mean more bandwidth a month for me for other subs. Anyway, great episode, we see Chopper grow as a uhh..person here, a fun battle.
The DVDs are released monthly but it's normally only 3 episodes per disc, and sometimes it drops down to only 2 episodes per disc. IIRC, the last couple of DVDs for the end of Skypeia are only 2 episodes dscs actually.
Not sure if this is the thread to share this with but I have a pic of 'official' Pandaman cosplay. On the 4th and 5th volumes of the Japanese DVDs they have an extra of a real life Pandaman visiting the animation studio, TOEI. And here's a pic of him outside the studio building.
ok guys l33t-raws has released the special and its duration is 43:44 but the other one which one uploaded has duration of 42:34. haven't watched l33t's version yet so don't know whats the extra in it :glare: but will let you know after I watch it
They didn't edit out all the commercials which is probably why l33t's version is a bit longer.
I didn't know about this release so I was surprised to find it at the Kinokuniya in Seattle last week. It's really nice and I'm glad I picked it up.
