Just to clarify, my previous "question" thread was more to insinuate discussion more so than ask a question. While I realize it could've easily been more discussed in the manga chapters thread, I haven't really been in the forum for a while. So excuse my apparent "stupidity" to the moderators

RE: Questions That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
Yes, yes, there were those long segments in the anime that made Namek infamous in Z, but I'm talking manga-wise. Given the epic scale of the current war, it looks like it could go on for a lot of chapters. What do you guys think?

RE: Has Moria's Voice Grown on You?
Wasn't the idea for Oz's voice to be a lower-pitched Luffy? Seeing as how he has his shadow? It makes sense when you think about it that way. All the seiyuus did the voices for their Zombie/Shadow counterparts last I checked.
As far as Moria's seiyuu goes, like others I was a bit irked at first mainly because it was'nt exactly how I imagined, but I usually don't let my personal bias get in the way of making an opinion. The latter episodes with him, have completely changed my perception of his performance. He did a good job of making Moria really evil. Thinking about how Moria wanted to make his nakama the living dead so he wouldn't have to go through the same misery he did in the New World shows how tragic he was and the seiyuu delivered in that scenery of dialogue.

RE: Are there any good subs for Movie 8?
I think FUNi's One Piece dub is solid. Miles away from their "DeeBeeZee" days.

RE: Free streaming of the new Dragonball animated Special
Loved it. It's funny how Dr. Kureha always sounded like Son Goku, especially in her high-pitched screams. It's good to hear Ms. Nozawa and the crew back in full gear. It's like much hasn't changed in 11 years. I'm glad the special was very light hearted and more on comedy this time around. Vegeta and Goku fighting over battle gear and food. Priceless. Vegeta actually being a gentleman?! He's really soften up much after the Buu arc. It kinda makes sense though. It's also interesting to note that Table (or Tarble in Japanese) is voiced by rookie seiyuu Masakazu Morita (Ichigo in Bleach).

RE: Dragonball Discussion
I think the Majins in this game are considerably weaker than Buu seeing as how Saiyans are extinct. It gives a better balance in power. Though I wouldn't be surprised if Saiyans become an added race later on in Expansion Packs. Much like Androids, Freeza-like aliens, etc.,

RE: Dragonball Discussion
Toriyama never really "directed" the Blue Dragon anime in a sense. Sure it's citied the he said so himself, but the only "directing" he's ever done was some storyboard insight and perhaps some character designs ala DragonBall GT. As far as I know, he's not even directly involved with the the 2nd season of the series.
The only current projects that we know of he's involved in would be this current Dragon Ball special and Dragon Ball Online. With the occasional Dragon Quests thrown in the side.

RE: Chapter 502 "The Tenryuubito's Incident" Discussion
I'm definitely convinced that Luffy's punch towards Charlos is going to be the ignition of the "War" that Drake hinted about. I think the WG actually would want this. Like killing two birds with one stone, they have Ace, so naturally nipping the bud of the Supernovas with an Admiral seems ideal.

RE: DragonBall Z Burst Limit
I played the demo and definitely enjoyed the emphasis on 1 one 1 combat.
Here's the JPN commercials.

RE: Will you buy the Funimation One Piece Season 1 box set?
Just got the set today and I pretty much agree with the general consensus. The dub is pretty spot on in terms of dialogue. There are some minor (and sometimes a little too deviant, depending on the voice actor) changes, but it's for the sake of the lip synching. I really enjoyed the cast commentary. Especially how Chris Sabat had the balls to admit the changes in their "Dragon Ball Z" treatment and how they were actually going for a more spot on dub this time around, so kudos to them. I giggled at his comment about how he voiced like 12 different characters in the series, when FUNimation was at its dormant stage. Hell, he's practically the voice for the company.
Being the anime purist that I am, I actually found myself enjoying the US voices a bit more than when they did the stuff for the broadcast version. But that's probably because I'm getting a better understanding of the general voice actors and what they were opting for via the commentary. The packing and menu options are really nice too. The treasure chest designs look real sleek combined with the slim covers for the discs. The inside of the slim covers have a pseudo-Grand Line map. The menu options go for the same design as well. A lot of the music choices for the menu options were great too. There a whole lotta good things going for these set, and if you're a One Piece fan, I absolutely see no reason not to buy this set and future ones. Hopefully, this will see a rise of interest in the series and Viz can get around to giving the One Piece manga a Naruto treatment to speed up those releases. Waiting 4 months really sucks. But perhaps that's just being too hopeful.
