Stuff having to download that stupid browser.
Wow. That theme song brings back some memories of 6th grade…
CHA-LA!! HEAD-CHA-LA!! I'm a smiling Ultra Z. Ready to aye-aye-aye!!
Thanks a ton, Bad-Beat. The browser was driving me nuts.
Did Kuririn actually get some screen time?
He was there, and he talked. He also did some Kienzan action to protect/impress the missus.
EDIT:
There was also a slightly bizarre moment where I had to pause and laugh my buttcheeks off.
[hide]Kuririn wanted to fight the monsters too, but Eighteen said, "There's no money in it." And AL said, "LxNwhatnow?".[/hide]
yup saw it yesterday
loved every second of it. Thanks for the YT rip, this is goin on my zune
This was incredible. wow
even lunch appeared!
and i thought it was cute how yamcha saved Bulma
the feeling of dragonball was definitely there.
Man, incredible!
not bad, yo. But the fact that Vegeta has a little brother is… well, i dunno.
Lots of cameos, and I'm guessing this is more true to the storyline than GT.
Saw it yesterday.
Amazing. Amusing. Touching. Charming. Epic. 'Nuff said.
I really reeeally hope that there will be more DB animation down the way.
I miss Tenshinhan…
Yeah, weird how they brought even Lunch (!) back and Ten wasn't there.
Overall, it was an incredible experience, way more fun than Romance Dawn. Man, i miss DB.
Goku's childish voice is annoying, I won't lie when I say that I'd really want to see the Funi dub of this.
…and ChiChi a MILF? Best thing to happen to her since Dragonball :V
Personally, i don't know how one can stand the english dub. Most of the voices are horrible, Vegeta sounds like an angry thug all the time and other atrocities. Goku just isn't Goku without his innocent original voice imo.

While I don't like Vegeta's 'thug' voice much, considering the stuff he does and say in this movie with that voice'll be pricelessly hilarious.
Furthermore, Goku sounds like a fucking 8 year old, and the guy's in his mid-30s and still sounds like he hasn't gone through puberty for fuck's sake.
Equally disconcerting is that his seiyuu played Dr. Kureha, so I kept thinking of her whenever Goku spoke. I did want to smack Gotenks whenever he opened his mouth though. I don't remember him sounding quite as annoying in the FUNI dub.
Anyway, that aside, it was really cool to see Dragonball done with modern animation techniques and it looked pretty neat. I was kind of expecting Tarble to actually do something other than having his scouter destroyed, but it doesn't matter. This was a fun little piece of animation, and the re-animated opening was really cool as well.
Not to mention the theme song, eh? eh??
Loved it. It's funny how Dr. Kureha always sounded like Son Goku, especially in her high-pitched screams. It's good to hear Ms. Nozawa and the crew back in full gear. It's like much hasn't changed in 11 years. I'm glad the special was very light hearted and more on comedy this time around. Vegeta and Goku fighting over battle gear and food. Priceless. Vegeta actually being a gentleman?! He's really soften up much after the Buu arc. It kinda makes sense though. It's also interesting to note that Table (or Tarble in Japanese) is voiced by rookie seiyuu Masakazu Morita (Ichigo in Bleach).
It was good, the aliens were a bit dissapointing though, didn't akira toriyama do all the new character designs for this?
