Well, as of yesterday, it looks as though the scanlations for Kinnikuman have been complete. (At least, I assume so, unless there is a whole 'nother tankoban after 36.) Thank you, Stranger/Tokoro Ataru for your wonderful translations and Rodry Bones, Kazuhiko, and the others for completing the scanlations! Kinnikuman definitely has some weird and annoying moments, but it was a fun read, and Robin Mask is definitely on my favorite manga character list now. (My preferred annoyance would be this: After all the BS with Super Douchebag and his teammates getting having prior knowledge to specialized fighting rings with hidden tools and junk, as well as shortcuts to bypass any traps or tests in the castle, and Kinnikuman's team getting no knowledge of these things, the only unfair advantage that that a****** Harabote apologizes for is Phoenix being able to use Omegaman's corpse as a tool since he wasn't removed from the ring. This especially after Harabote starts counting for a ring-out when Kinnikuman goes to comfort Bibimba. I mean, I know that the Idol Choujin pull out some advantages like the Anoalo Staff and the Defend Suit, and Omegaman's corpse was likely the worst example, but it just irks me each time Super Phoenix's team gets all these hints beforehand on the battlefields, and the good guys don't, without a good reason for it.)

While reading the newest Naruto chapter, I was hoping that Son Goku was the name of the Sage of Six Paths. That way, I could come up with a crack theory that Naruto's world is in an alternate reality where DBGT was actually canon, and Shenron takes Goku to the Naruto world to do…something.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone know why the translation for Volume 64's SBS on the Wikia cuts off at the second page of the voice actor SBS?

Apparently, nobody ever told Ginjou that the Gotei 13 puts power limiters on their own men. Any time a Lieutenant or Captain is sent out to go fight in the real world, they get special tattoos that limit them to, like, 20% of their power, so they don't damage the real world with their "Zanpakuto the size of skyscrapers" power. They can't remove them unless they have clearance, like when they're losing to double-digit Arrancar that Rukia could defeat on her own. In light of this, it should only be expected that they'd try to put limiters on their freelancers. Kinda makes this reveal lose any of the shock value it might have had.

Of course, I'm glad to see that Uryuu is so concerned about Ichigo believing that Soul Society is his enemy when Soul Society let his grandfather die and otherwise tried to control or exterminate the Quincies. Did he just change his mind about them after becoming pals with the Captain that tortured his people and being allowed to disrupt the balance of souls between the realms during the time-skip?

Damn Ryohei! I was hoping that he'd at least put up a fight so we could see how amazing Hibari is compared to the others. Then he goes and "stupids" his way out of the damn battle. I don't think he can be called the Yamcha anymore; he might need his own word.

That could still happen. Moria could reappear, steal Roger's body from the Marines- who preserved it for some reason- and somehow take Rayleigh's shadow to put in the Roger body. It's all extremely unlikely, but possible.

What manga is this from?

It's probably too much of a stretch to think this, but depending on how the Gourmet Cells work, losing or gaining food memories could affect those cells. If someone with Gourmet Cells loses their food memories, then they might also lose any power-ups that resulted from tasting those foods, and gain power-ups from gaining such memories. In Toriko and the other's case, not only could they level down, but if they lost their memories of Jewel Meat, the Bishokukai could buy that information and get the power-ups they planned on getting from the meat.

Just a theory, though. I don't remember how they said the cells work, but I do remember Rin's cells activating from the taste of Toriko's saliva.

The giant rock would be more impressive if Toriko and Sunny hadn't already destroyed a giant rock several weeks ago, on a hair raft under a giant waterfall. Depending on what happens next week, Toriko (the series) might have reached the level of power Naruto took several hundred chapters and a time skip to achieve in less than 150.

Maybe if everyone in Naruto ate delicious and ridiculous food instead of just ramen, then they'd actually be useful in this war.

They're not wearing Ichigo's power and expelling it. If I understand it correctly, Ichigo's "power" is to manifest insert power here as a "mantle" or "clothing," which allows them to use it externally. Since Ichigo's powers are running fast and sword beams, he manifests clothing and a sword that lets him do that. When given this power, PSP Kid can use his game powers outside the game, what's-her-name can make people grow with her saliva or mucus, Giriko can do whatever the hell his powers let him do, and Jackie will get a mud wrap.

Also, if Shishiwakamoto broke my sword with his knuckles in a fight that shouldn't have been so serious and life-threatening if we were on the same side all along, I wouldn't give him more powers, either.

I loled when Rukia kicked Ichigo and called him out for being a whiny bitch. Probably the most satisfying thing out of this arc, aside from the brief shining moment where Orihime hurt Ginjo.

In the next chapter of Naruto both Naruto and Sasuke discover that Ichigo died so they attempt to bring him back but in the process Naruto loses his left leg and Sasuke his entire body. Now they seek to bring back what was lost by joining the magic Guild 'Fairy Tail'. In here they meet the Shinigami Ryuk who tells them they have to defeat the Fire Lord before Sozin's Comet arrives and Fire Lord Bugs Bunny takes control of the Earth Kingdom. They go to defeat him but but before the final blow is struck, Bugs opens a portal in time and flings them into the future, where his evil is law. Now the fools seek to return to the past and undo the future that is Aku.

The title for such an amazing series could be: Fullmetal Death of The Last Bleached Samurai and Naruto the Looney Fairy.

I am disappointed. Not because I thought that Gin's sneak attack would actually prove successful and Aizen would be dead, but because I was hoping that it would.

It's as if Kubo is making every effort to convince Bleach readers that they're reading Inuyasha. I'm waiting for Kikyo to come up and purify the Hougyoku so that Orihime can get sucked into the darkness and hope Ichigo comes and saves her.

Granted, but the episode involves fathers being reunited with their long-lost children. While Luffy and Usopp's reunions go as expected, Sanji kills himself when he discovers that he shares a father with Nami and Robin.

I wish Zoro would get so lost that he ends up in Bleach, just in time to kill Aizen before Ichigo does.

Granted, but Brook, in a fit of rage, explodes both of their minds with a new song.

I wish that Usopp learned magic, so that whatever he says during his Usopp Spell actually happens to the opponent!

I'm torn.

On one hand, Crocodile is awesome. Super awesome.

I'm still hoping that, once the dust clears and the Shimon family is gone, the crumpled bodies of the Vongola group vanish, and elsewhere Chrome or Mukuro appear with the others, saying, "Hohohohoh (or Kufufufufu), we were never actually at the ceremony!"

Sure, it'd be reused, but at least it'd be more entertaining than the group actually losing to the Brago family.

I voted for Saul, because a vote for Saul is a vote for Nico Robin. A vote Senkgoku is good, but alas, is not for Nico Robin.

If I were a fish, I would've voted for Longchamp for 4 reasons.

1. He strips naked in order to get people to feel sorry for him. That's cheating. At least when Tsuna strips naked, he does something awesome.

2. He appears for a few chapters to be annoying, vanishes from the plot for 3/4s of the manga, then reappears for the sole purpose of making Chrome look bad. Chrome's got enough problems as the only female Vongola guardian and as a stand-in, without the pity stripper making her illusions look bad.

3. The first time he used he stripped using his apology bullet thing, I swear he was wearing a diaper. Only ace hitmen are allowed to wear diapers.

4. He never appeared in the anime. You know a character is bad when the anime dumps him.

Being God didn't save Enel. Why should being Moses save Buggy?

Speaking of DBZ, Enel would've kicked Goku's ass in that one multi-screen crossover. The only reason he lost was because of Luffy spinning Goku around while he fired a Kamehameha which…still makes no sense. Either way, Enel almost won, which is more than Zoro can say. So Enel gets my vote.

I'd rather vote for the guy who keeps getting screwed over by the universe, than the guy who was getting screwed over but is now the universe's lover. Go Sanji!

How odd, though. Only two of the final 8 killed a Strawhat to get this far, and both of them have to do so to continue!

Well, I do suppose that Whitebeard has shown himself to be worth having an army of men who adore him, so I have little issue with him winning. I'm just glad that Marco the Ugly Spoiler already lost. Yeesh. It's like he's the mother of Bellamy.

Usopp growing fat is the best power-up ever. Y'know how many awesome things become even greater by increasing in size? Lots.

Best. Campaign. Ever. I still voted for Usopp, but it's still amazing.

Also, hating Usopp for being a coward is about as silly as hating Robin for being "bland," or hating Zoro for being a generic badass. They each add something to the crew to make it diverse and interesting. Besides, Usopp's the normal guy in a world full of super-powered freaks. I'd probably be freaking out if some guy that shoots water bullets from his mouth started chasing me.

Let's not forget, though, that Usopp beat up that guy, tag-teamed a strongman, a razor-clawed penguin, and his explosive-coughing dog, and beat a ghost woman by scaring her, and that's not counting the other, non-boss fight stuff he's done He's been more useful to the Strawhats than the entire human cast of DBZ put together have been to Goku. I think that overshadows him leaving because of his girlfriend's ship, especially when he made amends by still coming to help save Robin and then blubbering an apology.

Neat thigns to note:

! - Raikou, Dragonair, Sunflora, and Typhlosion were the only Pokémon to be a result twice. Interestingly enough, the first two appeared in a fight together (Scratchman Apoo vs. Blackbeard), and Typhlosion managed to represent the winner of the three-way battle.

• Slugma and Phanpy are the only Pokémon results to also have their fully-evolved forms as results as well. (Magcargo and Donphan, respectively.) Treecko and Chikorita had their Stage 2 evolutions as results, while Lotad and Seedot had their Stage 1 evolutions as results. (Each of the latter 4 is at least part-Grass. They kinda grow on you, too.)
• Not a single first generation Pokémon was the winning result. Obviously, this would indicate that each winner won by at least 152 votes. (Benn won by 154 votes, albeit in a 3-way battle.)
• Speaking of Chikorita and Treecko, their evolved forms- Meganium and Sceptile- were the only starter Pokémon of equal stage to fight each other.

Also, the Bon Kurei vs. Zoro fight is just sick. Bon Kurei deserves to win forever after what he did a few chapters ago, but he gets thrown up against friggin' Zoro, which might as well be kicking him out of the tournament. I'd like to be proven wrong, though.

Edit: As a side note, Onix is the number of votes Vivi got and people were using in their horrid campaining of "help the loser beat Vivi" campaigns. Brock would be disgusted with some of you, especially because Vivi's a woman.

I forgot to point this out before the thread got locked, but Richie got exactly Meganium number of votes, whereas Zeff got exactly Sceptile number of votes. While I am glad to have contributed to Richie getting such a cute Pokemon as a number, I regret that it came at the cost of losing a potential Bayleef vs. Torchic ending.

Voting for Nami specifically to rebel against those who would attempt to use the main character label to diminish Nami's character development. Maybe I'm lacking in fictional knowledge, but it seems like a lot of the "development" of lead females in fiction revolves around being "the girl" for one of the main male characters. Nami avoids this very well, imo.

Curses. While I would normally be dead set on preventing another mentor character from being eliminated in this tournament, I can't resist forum-based hype. I'm staying neutral for now.

Indeed. I cried when I saw this matchup, because it meant that one of them was going to lose. Fortunately, the even-worse matchup for either of them won't happen now, since it's quite likely that Zoro will murder Chopper.* However, a Sanji vs. Zeff match may still yet be possible.

Despite my respect for both of them, I can't help but place part of the blame of Bellemere's losing on the He-Man Woman Haters' Club conspiracy. :ninja:

*I could be wrong, depending on which is more popular: the token badass that's actually amusing, or the cuddly mascot with an actually measureable IQ.

Voted for Bellemere, even though Hiriluk deserves every vote he gets. Anyone who belittles or bashes either of these characters should be kicked out of the fandom and shot.

Ace is totally the Relm Arrowny of One Piece, except he has a pirate for a daddy instead of a ninja. Their adoptive grandfathers are equally awesome. Of course, Relm wins due to being capable of reverse-tentacle raping an octopus.
