I think it became clear when Caesar gained a "crown" after absorbing Shinokuni.
I was under the impression he gained the crown because he became the "King of Shinokuni" (implied from the chapter name), rather than the possibility of his name being Crown and not Clown….
I just assumed that the crown was there because he considered himself the "King of Shinokuni", and was therefore just his physical representation of being that king since he merged w/ Shinokuni.
That's my take, anyways….

what does it say about Luffy on the map page, near reverse mountain. I see there is a "PH" in the box. Are they saying he's in Punk Hazard and that is where he currently is? I'm confused, because I'm pretty sure that's the first half of the GL that the star is pointing to….

Doesn't there exist the possibility that, even though it's been stated (and inferred) that Blackbeard isn't "the man Roger's waiting for", Blackbeard could still reach One Piece before Luffy? Just hear me out: What if, and I stress what if, Blackbeard beats Luffy and gets to the One Piece first. And, when he does, what if he reaches a different conclusion regarding what's there that Luffy doesn't. We all know Robin's been on the Poneglyph hunt, so she's more attuned to what they've all been saying. And, I'm pretty sure BB and his crew haven't even considered finding one Poneglyph (or, at least, it hasn't yet been stated in-manga or otherwise that he has been), so if Raftel or the One Piece is a Poneglyph (or a Poneglyph @ Raftel plays an integral role in the One Piece), who's to say BB knows what to do with it once he's approached/reached it? And therefore, comes to a different understanding of it than Luffy would.
Rayleigh made mention of the Jolly Roger pirates being "too hasty" in what they've found regarding the Void Century, and urged Robin (and, in essence, the Strawhats) to take it slower, one step at a time, so that they may come to a different conclusion. What if the "One Piece" is a relic of the Void Century, and the Poneglyph is instructions as to how to use said relic. Or something else entirely. What if BB takes this "One Piece" and puts it to use in a far different manner than "the Man Roger's been waiting for" would have used it. Obviously, the Will of D would play an important role in this, and obviously would include Luffy. The parallels between Luffy and Joy Boy, and him carrying the Will of Roger/Ace/etc. would probably play out as this goes on.
….blah blah, I could keep going on. Regardless, all I'm really trying to say is, the fight with Blackbeard and Luffy doesn't have to play out before One Piece is discovered. In fact, there could be other venues where the fight could take place AFTER One Piece is/was well done discovered and over with. Thus, the ultimate battle to come afterward could very well still be between BB and Luffy, if played out differently than to what your theories would say.
Just an idea, anyways.
Regardless of how long it took Luffy to get from Loguetown to Sabaody, I'm sure the second Dragon "sent" him off @ Loguetown, he eventually mentioned their relation to Kuma, seeing how Kuma already knew of their relationship upon leaving Thriller Bark.
And, I'm willing to bet Ivankov was in Impel Down long before Luffy even started his adventure.

I think Ivankov was referencing the fact that Dragon wouldn't want his "other" son Ace to be executed, not knowing yet that Ace and Luffy were not blood-related. He only just found out about Luffy being Dragon's son, and only knew that Luffy was trying to save his "brother" from Impel Down. Ivankov knew nothing of Luffy, so he was only assuming Dragon might've had more than one son (until Luffy corrected him)…

It was changed because Shirahoshi originally made the promise with the strawhats using her right pinky before they left. In the panel shown, the original SJ chapter has her holding her left hand (w/ pinky extended), when clearly it should've been the hand that she promised with (her right hand). The tankoubon corrected this to the proper (right) hand.
…good thing. I always wondered why Oda drew her holding the wrong hand when the chapter came out. Cool. :)
What GreatLiver said. Once said DF user created said effect, it's done. Otherwise, Momonga (being a Vice Admiral, so he should know a thing or two) would've simply poured water all over his crew after Hancock turned them all to stone rather than waiting for however many hours/days for her to return to the ship and de-activate the effect…

I'm pretty sure King Cannon was implying how Marco can turn portions of his body into his bird form, as opposed to turning into only the entire form (hence, his using "also"). I don't think he meant that Marco can ONLY be able to turn into portions of a bird…
...however, we have yet to see Marco turn into the hybrid form either, so who's to say if those few instances where he had bird parts (like clawed feet) were showings of that; hard to believe though, as most hybrid forms affect the entire body (and thus, aren't centralized to just one part of the body)...

Well, if you doubt the "I heard from this guy" source (which constitutes Greg explaining in great detail what is discussed in the SBS's, Usopp's gallery, etc. straight from his volume in-hand), then I guess picking yourself up a volume 60 would be the next logical step. Either way, the information's there. I mean, even if the OPwiki isn't the end-all, be-all for trusted information, just checking to see if their cited references match at all would also be a thing to do (which they did correct, in this case).

I do agree that he's a bigger problem to the straw hats without his free will [since he technically saved them when he had it]. Then again, it's hard to say how they stack up against him after 2 years.
You could take into consideration the possibility that Kuma was a revolutionary BEFORE he was a Pirate, and he merely acted as a Tyrant (and was thus given the nickname) so that the government would grant him Warlord status. You have to wonder how intricate a plan Kuma has planned with Dragon, how far back it was planned, and what the ulterior motive is.
…for all we know, Kuma becoming a machine is part of this plan; Dragon's mentioning about Kuma's situation with Ivankov makes this seem plausible, just by how he brought it up...

Well, I'm pretty sure I saw Luffy get kicked in the face by him a few times during the war. Granted, Luffy's rubber, so it might not have hurt as much…
...but, you also have to assume Kizaru can bypass that with haki, so I don't know. Either way. Also, Kizaru laid a hard kick on Hawkins' head back on the Archipelago. Can't remember if it killed the guy that ended up taking it's attack, but there's something to think about.
Hawkins, Rayleigh, Vol. 1 Shanks, Blackbeard, Ryuuma and Dofla are my favorites, hands down…

Paramecia: Basil Hawkin's and Doflamingo's unnamed DFs, mainly because of their mysterious qualities. If I had to choose a named/known DF, though, I'd say the Nikyu² no mi since it allows you to push anything, from animate objects to things inanimate like emotions or pain. Not to mention, it gives you the ability to damn near teleport. (though I will give a nod to the Gura² no mi too, simply for being a world-breaker class fruit.)
Zoan: Not too many to choose from, so I'd say it'd be Lucci's Neko² no mi, model: leopard. Why? Like I said, not too many to choose from, but I do like Lucci's half-form the best.
Logia: Can't decide. It'd be between Hie², Pika², and Goro² no mi's. Power to freeze things, or the power to beam things and move at the speed of light (perhaps?), or the ability to teleport almost at the speed of light and rain lightning?! Well shit, Kizaru and Enel are damn near almost the same, with the exception that they're different elements, but teleporting and having endless energy. Though, Enel does have that rubber weakness, as opposed to Kizaru having no weaknesses (so far). Still, Aokiji's ice powers are awesome too…
...yeah, this one's a hard one to choose...
