I find it interesting Luffy used Gear 4 on a commander. I wonder how he'll take big mom down if he is having trouble with her underlings.

For a game coming out next month, there seems to be a lack of info about it. Well, I just hope it isn't as bad as SGBX.

well… Eyes of Heaven had 5 DIOs but 4 were playable and those 4 werent just very basic appearance changes. but seeing 8 luffys in this game just shows that Spike Chunsoft took an easy route with most of the game's DLC. maybe they should just also give us the rest of the Film Gold Strawhat Outfits as well plus maybe the outfits for Lucci & Sabo & Koala as well to help promote Film Gold some more while America & Europe wait for Film Gold to appear on Bluray & DVD.

Yeah, the DIOS played different from what I recall. 2 were house mounted, but had different stands, and all of them had different specials, while this game only gives them maybe 1 different move, while the rest is the same.

It hope so. That would be nice to finish off Fishman Island. They said her predictions were never wrong but that was the only one that never came to fruition.

I voted for Rob. I would also like to see Arlong in as well, and Caesar too, for some Punk Hazard rep. Too bad Monet wasn't available. I'd also like to see Vivi return. Cavendish is in the 3ds game, so i'm fine with him sliding. It is funny how Hody isn't support nor can you vote for him wither, lol.

I'll get it. I hope it comes to the USA.

Well less costumes are annoying since having a selection of alternate costumes for several or every character extends the game's fun factor for me

Cause when a game has no alternate costumes, it bugs me when developers just do Color swap which bores me.

I am not wanting Team Ninja Tier of Alternate Costumes, I just want a reasonable amount of alternate costumes that don't eat up slots like in this game

It is almost like in the one piece games we haven't had alternate costumes since the grand battle/ unlimited series. I have no idea why they skipped the costumes. That is something that they could be working on once the game goes gold or they have to send it in for testing, since they have to wait for feedback so they could have been making costumes in that time but I guess not.
Also the one piece burning Blood ad on Hulu is pretty terrible. It just shows the girls in their bathing suits and then says one piece burning blood and that's the end of it. There is no game play.

Yeah, 3 Luffy's. They are suppose to email you a code, Amazon or Bamco.

Did anybody get their 3 luffy codes? I guess for those that ordered on amazon, amazon has no idea what is going on. Some have said amazon has said it was a Canada only deal, while others have said it is Namco's fault and to contact them, but when you contact namco, they say it is amazons fault. As for me, I'm still waiting. An amazon rep said it is going to take about 5 days for them to get back to me.

From the looks of it, they have been working on the console version and now are working on the pc version. Or touching it up.

I got mine today too. The art book just consists of screen shots. The figures look nice. The wanted pack is on PSN, so you can buy that. I had a big issue with the game itself…the disc didn't work. At first it said unable to read disc, right out of The box. I did a restore on my PS4, which made the disc readable, but when I booted it up, it said I had to update, but I was already updated. I un/reinstalled the game, but It kept swapping between the two issues, and eventually froze my ps4 with the looking for problem page, which got stuck at 5%. My other disc based games worked just fine though.

I ended up contacting amazon about it, and they said I would have to return the whole order to get a refund. I just wanted $60 so I could just download it off PSN. I told him I could ship the disc to them, but he said that was unnecessary. Since it was a limited edition, they said the best they could do would be to give me $50, which was fine. I downloaded it off PSN and it works just fine.

I do hope this game sells well, but the marketing has been pretty terrible. When they have shown off the game, all they did was spam moves. It also doesn't help that this game is pretty broken too, almost or worse than v-stars broken when it comes to characters and supports. It plays much better than v-stars though, but i'm not sure how the how it will do, since people have been posting broken combos, like Boa's death beam and Kuma's triple Okie Doke, or how Luffy can just slip out of combos with Haki,.

Hooray, I got my first 5 star rare recruit! It was Ice Witch Whitey Bay….too bad I can't really use her on my team, since her cost is too high for the characters I'm using...

For rare recruit, are they random or based on level? The other day, I did 4 of them and got flipping Usopp…4 times...the same one...

I'm not sure if I want the Marineford Edition or the Digital Deluxe version. Is the art book any good or is it just the promotional material in book form, for those that have the Marineford Edition JPN? I would like to know since MFE doesn't come with the wanted pack, while the DD does. I am leaning towards the DD now.

Nevermind, there is no JPN version of MFE. It is a EU/US thing only.

So I finally started to play this again, but I have a question and I can't seem to figure out. How do I add more points to my crew so I can have people with higher Point costs? So for example when I want to add someone on my crew it says they are over points how do I get more points to add them on to my team?

So what is the difference between gold Luffy and platinum Luffy?

I would be fine with this, even if it was next gen or the gen after that. I would just hope, if they do make another one, characters won't get left out, because they aren't being used anymore, like the East Blue cast.

I won't deny that there needs to be some fine-tuning on the flow and speed of combos, however most of the gameplay we've seen are from people who are picking the game up for the first time and don't have a grasp on the controls yet.

If your issue is with the gameplay, then why would you want CC2 to develop a One Piece fighting game? Storm lacks the technical and varied combat that Burning Blood is planning to have.
If you wanted a fighter that was more spectacle than skill-based, I would understand that sentiment.

Cool video, they didn't play terible. Also, crocodile sounded like someone was stabbing the VA for some of those grunts when he was getting hit.

I was hoping for them to be DLC, but I guess not. For a game about devil fruit users vs haki, it is weird to omit Rob, Monet, Caesar, Baby 5, and Bellamy. I also would have liked to have seen Cavendish and Tashigi playable too. With them being support, I don't think we are getting playable DLC characters

weren't they suppose to reveal a new arc on the 19th? I know they gave us alot of info on new characters, but not a new arc confirmed.

No Fishman Island or Punk Hazard reps is lame. They should atleast include the main villain in each arc. I was hoping for Monet, but I guess not. It is a bit silly to not have Rob in here as well. I can only hope there will be DLC characters that put in characters that have been omitted, like Rob, Monet, Caesar, and Tashigi and maybe Hody or Arlong.

Koala is someone I didn't expect to be playable. I hope we get more playable characters from Punk hazard and Dressrosa.

From what I understand/heard, it is soul calibur-like for the combos

You can pick two series to crossover. It is interesting since fairy tail can be included too. They haven't said what type of genera is though, hopefully it isn't a baseball game.

A bit disappointing that Perona's swimsuit is for the digital version. I have the Marine Ford edition preordered. I assume eventually they will sell it as DLC but it is a bit weird that they split up the pre order DLC from physical and digital.

It is a bit odd to see Perona in a swimsuit. IIRC, she said she likes cold, dreary places. And yeah, her boobs are huge…..but i'm okay with that...

I think it would be easier to fudge a moveset for Capone, like others have said with Naruto and his clones, than Jack, so I could see Capone as a DLC character. this game will come out in 6 or 7 months for the US, so that should give Oda and them plenty of time to flesh them out, if need be. Like making DLC characters in the fall time….but since this is Bamco, they'll probably have a bunch of DLC at the start too....like with the swim suits... Then again, PW3 didn't have any DLC characters though, so who knows...

If that stuff is true (mobster), I wonder why Sanji was working on that ship as a bus boy, the one that Zeff attacked when he was just a kid. I wonder if Oda will explain that more.

I'm thinking it might have a Zou stage, but nothing more. Maybe Jack and the rest could be DLC though.

Too bad no movie characters. I would have liked to have Shiki & Z playable, heck, even Red from the video game would have been cool.

I would like to see her too. Aside from her DF, she can use "Dope", which is similar to gorilla (1 gorilla 2 gorilla) by Zoro, IIRC.

I would assume dubbed. Most of their movies are dubbed, minus the AoT movies, since those were live action.

So they are putting in characters that haven't been in before. It makes me wonder if we will get more obscure characters, like Hina (even though she was in GB3) or more/all CP9 characters or Hody's Crew

As for Dub vs Sub, yes I would prefer Dub, since it is less reading I have to do, but with that said, I don't think FUNi is that far-ish in the Dub. They haven't hit the TS yet, which means they'd have to cast those VAs in advance, which I don't see happening, sadly. They did it for Unlimited Cruise, but with that said, it was only 2 characters, IIRC.

I wish there was something there to spice up the gameplay. It looks like the players are always going to be on top of each other. I do like how big the arenas are and the destructible environments I don't know if that will really matter everybody is just on top of each other punching each other. I would love to see one piece grand battle 4.

Cool, PC version. Hopefully NB doesn't mess this up, like they do, in all of their PC ports. IIRC, PW3 was missing online and was the PS3 version. IF everything is golden, I'd get the PC version, unless the special/limited versions of the game are coming to the US. I might be tempted to get those on the PS4. I hope Monet and Perona make it in though, and I wouldn't mind seeing Shiki either (all as playable characters).

I want to see more gameplay. From what I have seen, it looks ok, but I noticed, It looks like they might go for the big empty circle arena, which blows. I did like the destructible environments in J-stars.

Maybe next week we get to see what happened to the rest of the crew.

Also, was Wanda licking Luffy in that one panel?
