So if the island moves and the Sunny was right next to it and it has been 2 weeks later, IIRC, how fast is the island moving…or is the ship attached to the elephant?

RE: One Piece: Burning Blood
I hope it does come to steam. IIRC, it is for the Vita, PS4 & now Xbone. Steam, I would think, is the bigger market place. I wonder how well PW3 sold on steam. Aside from no online and getting the ps3 version, I don't recall and technical hiccups with the release.
-
RE: One Piece: Burning Blood
I hope there is no 2 vs 2 like in victory vs. Having a cpu partner was lame. I'd be fine with a tag system, and hopefully more moves too. Some battle items and power ups would be cool too, like in the other one piece fighters. I still think the best grand battle game was grand adventure. if we can get something like that again, I'll be happy. Although I am glad that this is pretty much confirmed to be coming to US and EU.

RE: One Piece Film Gold (July 2016)
Maybe we will get so hear/see who killed Z's crew, since it is only a guessing game of who did it. For some reason, I'd like to see Red, but that isn't going to happen. Then again, maybe an unlimited movie would be cool.

RE: One Piece Kaizoku Musou 3 [PS3/PS4/PSVita]
It took me a long time to beat the first mission…I couldn't find the gate I needed to pass to stop Zoro's execution. I eventually looked up a youtube video to see where it was. It was in one of the storage rooms. I think the one by Nami. When I finished the level, Luffy was at level 10...after the prologue...:getlost:
The game is pretty fun so far. I just wish you could change your costume in the main story, like you can in hyrule warriors.
Also, what is online mode for and what is rescue? What are the differences between the two?
-
RE: One Piece Kaizoku Musou 3 [PS3/PS4/PSVita]
Guess I'll be buying the season pass too.
-
RE: One Piece Kaizoku Musou 3 [PS3/PS4/PSVita]
I'm just saying you can play older games on the PC. For example, I can play half life 2 on my PC, but if i wanted to play it on console, i'd have to hook up an old console to do so.
-
RE: One Piece Kaizoku Musou 3 [PS3/PS4/PSVita]
I per-ordered it. I was thinking about getting it on Steam, since I don't have to upgrade my PC after x amount of years, like you do with consoles, but Koei has been terrible with their PC ports, so I went with the PS4 version.

RE: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! for Nintendo 3DS (2014)
I wish unlocking the cast wasn't a pain in the ass, though. I never did unlock everybody.
-
RE: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! for Nintendo 3DS (2014)
TBH, you guys aren't missing much. It is the worst OP game I have played. The AI ranges from stupid easy(95% of the time) to master of defense.Story mode is a drag too. You have to control XX% of a map to unlock the new one, so you can't just win the map by beating the AI. And as I said, The AI is stupid easy. you normally have a 10-20+ lead on them, which makes the game boring and since you have to have XX% of the map on your side, it is mind numbingly painful to play this game. IIRC, The game only gives you like 2 people to play as (Luffy and Law, IIRC), everybody else is unlocked through story…which is teribad.

RE: Chapter 784 : Gear Fourth
I wonder how much more powerful Gear 4 would be….with an afro...
-
RE: One piece treasure cruise (7/11 Never Forget)
I was surpised to see this too. I haven't played much of it though. Just got past the first arc.

RE: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! for Nintendo 3DS (2014)
I got anxious for a moment since they announced J-Stars and PW3 are coming west.
Me too. I'm surprised that, that game is coming over at all.
Anyway, I wish this game didn't suck so much. It looks like a ton of fun, but it is mind numbingly boring. The amiibo support is very cool though. I didn't expect that at all, let alone from an anime/manga game. I hope others do this too.

RE: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! for Nintendo 3DS (2014)
I wish it wasn't such a grind to get all of the characters. I haven't really played it since I got it. Every time I think about it, I think how boring the game is. It makes it even worse that they lock you out of maps until you got x amount of land too. This is probably my least favorite one piece game I have played, which makes me sad, since I like One Piece and the Grand Battle series.
-
RE: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! for Nintendo 3DS (2014)
For anybody that has the game, on the third map it says 35/40 and won't let me play it. What do i need to do? I rebeat the first map, but nothing changed.
-
RE: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! for Nintendo 3DS (2014)
Pretty much how I feel.
I find it annoying that you have to conquer x amount of land in order to move on, rather than just beat the map. I'm 5 shy of going onto the third map.
I also have the habbit of mashing A when I get characters, which means I accidentally select join crew, lol.
I also find the the AI seems to spike. They are for the most part, stupidly easy, but you will come across a match where they bingo guard and kick some ass.
Also, I love the Camie & Pappug. Camie spins Pappug around and then throws him accidentally. She makes this face throughout most of the support animation:
It cracks me up all of the time….Plus it is a pretty good support too.

RE: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! for Nintendo 3DS (2014)
Hey guys i have question.
I want to know the number of basic attack.
when i saw the play movies i think character have few move.
right? is less than gigabattle 2????
I think most characters have 6 basic attacks. add 4 more for hard attacks.
Also, I hope the game gets better. it is super repetitive. I'm on the 2nd map. When it comes to Ko battles, I win by like 20 points. coin battles are a breeze too. To make matters worse, out of the 2 maps,we will say about 30 vs matches, I have only been playing on 2 maps, with the sunny being the most common map.
combo that with a lack of playable characters and locked moves, I find this game boring. Unlike in gigantic battle, there are no objectives, like bingo guard 3 times or anything. I wish there was a Grand Battle mode, aside from the arcade-like mode that was in gigantic battle.
-
RE: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! for Nintendo 3DS (2014)
thoughts/impression
I wish the characters had more move, maybe I just keep mixing it up with Grand Battle. There are 2 Hard Attacks and then the Normal 2-3 light attacks/combos.
I wish everybody or atleast the straw hats wasn't/weren't locked. You only get Luffy, Brook, Nami and Usopp.
Hard throwing seems OP. I can just throw the CPU off the stage and they fly far. Items are pretty fun, but I don't think you can throw them (some you can like boxes, but guns and what not can't).
The support item is kind of weird. You will find a bounty poster and then you can use them, on-top of your other support, so they are like items. It seems unnecessary, since you already have support characters, so why make item/one time use support characters.
The normal support system is ok. You pick your fighter, support, and then 1 koma character(s) if you will, JSS/JUS. Each character can have multiple 1 komas, but they can't be the same character, IIRC.
Some characters have special abilities. IIRC, It is X and down. Like Brook will play a tune, and then right next to his health bar, you get musical notes. You color them in when you attack. You start off with a speed boost and once you fill it up, you press X and down again, and he also gains defense too. IIRC, this uses 1 SP on the bar though.
The few stages I played we fun, like The MF stage. There are cannons in the stage. If you get into one, it will launch you into the background and then Garp will punch said player back into the foreground. The stages seem to be sprites as well as the other background characters too. They don't remove them either if you are playing as one.
Specials are annoying locked. IIRC you have to level up to unlock them.
If you are switching out and get hit, the character you called back will be dazed and on the field, so you have to pick them up, otherwise they will be x'ed out on the touch screen.
Like JUS/JSS, you make a deck and then you can save it, 2 fighters, 2 supports and then multiple Komas. How many Komas, depends on your level. With that said, you have to unlock the specials.
It more or less seems like Gigant Battle 3, rather than Grand Battle.

RE: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! for Nintendo 3DS (2014)
I wonder if Namco will milk this for DLC rather than giving us a number 2….Then again, most of their DLC has be costumes.
-
RE: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! for Nintendo 3DS (2014)
In that Trailer with Moriah, is he playable?
-
RE: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! for Nintendo 3DS (2014)
Can't wait to get this. I'll be grabbing those OP themes too. I hope this comes over here to USA and EU.
-
RE: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! for Nintendo 3DS (2014)
So how's the guarding? Is it like Gigant or like Grand Battle?
-
RE: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! for Nintendo 3DS (2014)
Interesting, It looks like you pick two characters now. I thought the pirate alliance was a special mode. It also looks like the straw hats have film Z moves, since Chopper is using Chopper Tank, IIRC
I wonder if it is tag or just team.
–notes--
some items are a small dragon, battle tank. you can pick up people know and walk around with them. You can ride on Ucy. The Factory is a stage -
RE: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! for Nintendo 3DS (2014)
Yeah, they are using 3D models now, rather than sprites, so the cast could be lower. It would be too good if we got everybody from the past Grand Battle games plus the Gigant battle ones. I have a feeling, that it is just going to be the newer characters. Although, I wonder how they will address the time skip. I HOPE they aren't lazy and just use old models, it just feels out of place. Atleast Unlimited Red got away with this, because Red was using their memories to create the likes of the baddies. However, with that said, that would mean we would see 85+ new designs, which I doubt that too…Atleast the changes after the time skip are small, like Nami getting long hair, ect. It just would be weird to see conflicting designs, like Kuzan, and how he has a missing leg now.
-
RE: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! for Nintendo 3DS (2014)
I know in GBII, Carue & Pandaman were playable. That would be pretty funny if they were playable here too. I do hope Red will be playable & maybe to see some of the Neo Marines too.
-
RE: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! for Nintendo 3DS (2014)
Good to see them using 3d models this time. I hope PTS and TS characters are just 1 slot, rather than 2. I also hope they add online as well, IIRC, the Gigant Battles were missing this.

RE: Chapter 694: A Very Dangerous Man
Since Monet has an altered body, maybe she has 2 hearts…Although as much as I liked Monet, I do hope the two stay dead though. Although, I don't know if Vergo is dead, since we was sliced by law, he could still be alive, but in two pieces.
-
RE: Project Versus (One Piece x Dragon Ball x Toriko), new videogame?
So it looks like a 3D battle game, like the tenkaichi series. Too bad I don't own a PS3. ;_;
I do have a JPN 3ds though.
-
RE: Chapter 681: "Luffy Vs. Master"
Great Chapter. I want to know more about Monet now. Great fighting too.
-
RE: One Piece: Musou/Pirate Warriors - PS3
A One Piece game coming to America! Holy Shit!
+1 reason to get a PS3
-
RE: Chapter 675: The name is Shinokuni
So where is Monet's heart? Does Law have it with him or what?
-
RE: One Piece Chapter 670 - Blizzards with a Chance of Slime
It seemed like a short chapter.
-
RE: Chapter 668: Pirate Alliance
So since the bodies are switched for Nami and Sanji, does that mean Nami (in Sanji's body) can use Haki or Sanji (in Nami's body)?

Pirated "One Piece" Theme Park Planned in China
I didn't see it posted anywhere else, so..
China's coastal city of China's Dafeng is the planned site for a US$76 million One Piece theme park being built on a 133-hectare plot of land. True to the anime/manga that inspired it, it's from a city one the water, and, true to the source material, the intellectual property in question is being pirated.
Initial reports were that the project had the proper connections to Japanese rights holders, but after speaking with manga publisher Shueisha, RocketNews learned that the already under construction attraction is not officially sanctioned.
I wonder if China makes anything original?
-
RE: Chapter 667: Cool Fight
I lol'd with Franky transforming so fast, and "Iron Man" as well
-
RE: What if One of the Straw Hat Pirate dies?
@Rogues':
Well not die per se, but if I had to have anything close to it, I would much rather see Nami horribly maimed early on in the New World by an extremely powerful adversary, loosing both her left arm and right leg. Thus requiring metalic prosthetics built by Franky & Ussop, using her notes to embedd Weather Technology into her limbs, increasing her strength and giving her an appearence vaguely smiliar to Color Walk 1.

Sadly, the above image is the most badass Nami's ever going to be.
That is a pretty badass pic.

RE: Chapter 660: Royal Shichibukai Trafalgar Law
I lol'd when law said they weren't there and then they bust out.
-
RE: One Piece: Musou/Pirate Warriors - PS3
So now that the game is out and people are starting to get it, How does it differ from the unlimited series?
-
RE: One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP & SP2 - 3DS
Well, I see i'm late to the party, anyway, pretty dumb move. I didn't think the game would be this big. They could have used 4G carts. Since Nintendo is publishing it, I doubt we'll see Ep2.
I hope the next game is for the wii, atleast I'll be able to play it. I doubt it though with the wiiu around the corner.
@OPF:
Can anyone tell me, where I can download the soundtrack of the Unlimited Cruise games? I love it, but I just can't find it anywhere!
Good luck with that. Ever since MU bit the dust, every other file site is pulling their content left and right. Until there is a substitute for MU, it is pretty much going to be almost impossible to find such a thing. You could head over to the final fantasy shrine. That is the best I got.
-
RE: One Piece: Musou/Pirate Warriors - PS3
I was thinking Logue Town.
Also, am I the only one who thinks Nami look obnoxiously slutty in this game?
That is what I was thinking as well, in regards to the location. That or Whiskey Peak. It seems the further OP goes in story, the bigger Nami's boobs get. I don't recall them being that big when we 1st met her. They started to get really bigger in the Sky Island arc. Before that, they seemed at a modest size.
-
RE: One Piece: Musou/Pirate Warriors - PS3
I wonder if all of those bosses will be playable?
-
RE: One Piece Gigant Battle! 2 "Shin Sekai" - Nintendo DS
its posible to play opgb2 on desmume and to use wifi??? If yes plz post how thx
head to GBAtemp.
This is going to sound dumb, but I wish it wasn't so repetitive in story. Oddly enough, I don't think I minded playing story mode in JSS/JUS. Maybe it was because each world gave you something new? IDK, even though it was pretty much the same thing.
I think It should have a structured story mode, maybe like the Hitman Reborn games or something? After beating the story mode, I don't feel like playing it again and getting new maps and stuff.
-
RE: Chapter 652: "Grim Prospects Ahead" -Discussion
I hope Hina plays a bigger roll in the new world/ Or we get to see more of her. She was just at the end of the Alabasta arc, IIRC.
-
RE: One Piece Gigant Battle! 2 "Shin Sekai" - Nintendo DS
I wonder how many passwords there are in the game.
-
RE: Chapter 651 : "The Voice From The New World"
The animals looks pretty cool. Great chapter too.
-
RE: One Piece Gigant Battle! 2 "Shin Sekai" - Nintendo DS
@OPR:
Guys I'm trying to get the the new supports online, but it keeps giving me (61020) error !! Anybody can help me with this ?
http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc/en_na/ds/results.jsp?error_code=61020&system=DS&locale=en_US
Remember, GB2 uses some weird form of Wi-fi. WEP only I think?
-
RE: One Piece Gigant Battle! 2 "Shin Sekai" - Nintendo DS
I thought the Docking Emperor was called, The Franky Formation Five. Also, where do I go after I beat the game for the 1st time to get new paths?
-
RE: Chapter 650 : Two changes you need to know.
So do we get a new chapter next week or no?
-
RE: One Piece Gigant Battle! 2 "Shin Sekai" - Nintendo DS
How many did the 1st GB game have?
-
RE: One Piece Gigant Battle! 2 "Shin Sekai" - Nintendo DS
I remember now, It is when you press 'Y' on the support select and then you get like a ton of options, what are those?
