This was also done purposely so that they don't have to fill in as much story in each episode. Kinda like how DBZ had extremely long charges and dust parts.

The fillers aren't as good as they used to be if you ask me.
But, you might enjoy the recent filler with brook. I hadn't seen the anime in a long time either and when I saw it I was refilled with One piece joy. It was kinda magical too since I had been kinda depressed with recent turns of my life but after watching that episode I became extremely happy.

But they did kill the brook jokes by spamming 'em. And that's a big no no.

Probably not as much as they're liking it over there in japan. TVXQ, big boy band liked in basically all of Asia, singing We are, the representation of the current Shonen Jump big gun, is like a gigantic fan-service for them in general.

I would have liked some Supernova smexyness but it seems they don't care for spoilers anymore. In our last opening all we got was a Moria group picture and some Brooke service. It looks like all they care about now is service. And the Supernovas didn't really create a big enough bang like Brooke did to consider putting 'em in as a service. That or they're just lazy.

I was just going crazy at how surprising this all is. I was so expecting Nami to bring Sunny around and they all jumped and left since Nami wasn't in any of the later half of the last chapter. But instead this. Oda is just freaking awesome.

I believe Kuma is helping everyone out though. When I saw that Brook was teleported and then the rest followed I was just…. so the whole crew is going to disappear from infront of an admiral, bunch of cyborgs, and Vegapunks bodyguards. But what helps it even more is that, I just saw episode 368 of the anime. (Were Kuma first gets on TB) Perona says she wants to eascape, she tells Kuma were she would like to go, and Kuma makes her disappear with out even hurting her first. (By the way, Pandaman is in the background in this episode mixed with the zombies)

Kuma just does things how he wants to. And he really likes the SHs. And with Reylaigh talking to Kuma and his reaction being pretty calm. I believe they're safe.

Oh and, "AWWW LUFFY~ It's ok mang, we all fuck up sometimes. And this time it was out of your power." Is what I would tell Luffy.

But I still believe that because One Piece, instead of focusing on training montages and fighting each battle for a title, is different because there's none of that. They mysteriously get stronger and fight for survival. This let's us focus more on the adventure and the actual morals of the characters. Being king of the pirates makes you the best sure. But after what Luffy just said, you can't honestly say Luffy wants to be king to be the best. Please think about it before you respond again because I don't check on this forum as often as I want to.

They both have a certain magic. The original art, SBS, Title page-side stories, and the color spread are the manga's magic for me.
While the Anime has, a great cast of Seiyuu, seeing the character come to life, and a great Soundtrack. (Not to Mention the movies)

They also, both have cons. The Anime has fillers and (added recently) extended Scenes and recap. While the manga… well as far as manga goes it's perfect. But for me, If I only stuck to the manga I'd probably wont have the same feelings for One Piece i have now.

I myself enjoy the fillers. After witnessing the horror of other anime fillers, you will come to notice that the people who write the fillers for One Piece are probably fans themselfs, are funny as hell, and are dedicated to the show.
Until recently I loved the anime more then anything but the extended scenes make an episode only a chapter or two worth of new material and watching the same frames being re-used all the gets boring. I wish it would go back to how it was before Skypeia =(

Dude, Luffy's goal is cliche to be the best pirate period. He will be at the top of the main theme of one piece...PIRATES.

You obviously don't pay attention. As the last chapter clearly stated. Luffy just wants freedom, adventure, and to fulfill his promise. Being the best Pirate just happens to come along the way. If he really wanted to be Pirate King right away and be ahead of everyone he would of let the old man tell him if One Piece was really there and what it was. But he didn't, why? He wants adventure.

Comparing One Piece to to other big Shonen gets you no were. Dragon Ball, Bleach, and naruto are very alike sure. But One Piece has only basic shonen elements in common. Like undying will and a very hungry main character.
It's the biggest reason why One Piece is not popular with most people who like big shonen. Also the same reason why a wholed lot of One Piece heads think Naruto and Bleach are retarted.

Closes thing to first mate in the Straw Hat pirates is Nami. She takes charge a hell lot more then the others. I think Oda intentionally leaves 'em all pretty much independent and equal in status on porpuse. So a first mate, even if it was said somewere, in the SH pirates is just ridiculous. Or atleast in my opinion.

And the thing with Sanji coming to Luffy's aid, he was just at the right place at the right time. He doesn't need a "high rank" to help his captain.

Being that he has the highest bounty aside from luffy and and being the first to join, first mate comes to mind. So call him that if you want but he doesn't do the first mate job of keeping the men in chech and relaying the captians orders lol. I love One Piece.

My mom loves that I watch it. Anime in general really. She see's that anime is inspiring and has life lessons in it. She likes to watch One Piece with me if I ever watch it.

My Biggest sister doesn't watch it. Just knows I like it
My second oldest sister is on the Don Kreig arc
My lil sister is at enies lobby
And my dad just knows about it
And my mom can't really bge placed because she'll come in and watch anime with me in the mourning. Anything from Vampire knight, to One Piece, or even Hellsing can be playing. She doesn't like Hellsing xD

Everyone knows I have an obsession with One piece. They commend it or make fun of it. Either way it's okay heheh
