Except of a few distance shots here and there, I thought the art was pretty fine this episode. Not much to complain about in my opinion.
Well, didn't expect that tbh. Everything is going pretty fast now and I am genuinely happy about that.
If they keep this shedule then who knows, we might get the Whole Cake Island arc much faster than I'd ever imagine. Exciting.

They absolutely are. One Piece is going pretty strong, a few episodes back it even reached 5% (ProSieben MAXX avg. is 1,8%), which is the highest rating ever since they started airing One Piece back in 2013.
Everyone has already talked about the beautiful cuts by Ishizuka and Tu, but one part of this new change that deserves a lot of credit is the new composition studio and the light effects. 892 and 893 have looked near-movie quality because of them.

I wasn't expecting Kohei Tanaka to compose 30 new tracks for Wano but I was hoping to hear more of his new Wano OST for a while.
Something that got my attention as well. And judging by the preview, next episode will have some really beautiful shots too.

Awesome episode, the new art just looks sooo good, I can't help it. Ishizuka's part was absolutely lit, loved it!
Not expecting them to keep this level of quality through the whole arc considering the key animators who worked on the last two episodes,
but as long as we get this good looking art, combined with the new line filter, solid filler and if they do the key moments justice, I won't complain at all!
Toei finally stepping up their game! This is what this anime always deserved. Looking forward to next week!~
Since Skypiea is one of my favourite arcs, I was really excited for this upcoming special. Sadly this was pretty underwhelming, in a lot of aspects.
Not quiet sure what I expected, though. Trying to squeez the whole arc into a 100min special, well…
