God that's awful. Where's the guy who designed Spider-Gwen?
Both the original writer and artist behind Spider-Gwen turned out to be sex pests.

There’s obviously ways to do a croupier-inspired design well. Just like Zatanna has good magician-inspired designs.
But this looks like a clown costume (probably intentional, considering Wells and editorial’s thoughts on MJ).
MJ is becoming a superhero (who asked for this?) and her costume design is HORRIBLE (isn’t she supposed to be fashionable?)

I finished Inferno, what do I read next ?
I think it was a rights issue.
To be fair, they never intended/expected the supreme court to almost immediately do a dramatic power grab through Marbury v. Madison.
Oof, finished the game and I did not like that ending at all.
But I had a lot of fun with the first 75% of the game.
Centrists: John Roberts is an institutionalist resisting from the inside!!!
Oda’s new super eyesight allowing him to draw vagina folds.
I am nearing the end but I also noticed that the story took a nosedive after the Bahamut fight, which functioned as the climax to every emotional narrative that had been set up up to that point.
I feel like every post-timeskip arc has people predicting the Strawhats will lose.
The Arlong arc actually has the same chapter count as Baratie, it just has much more stuff happen in it rather than waste a full volume on Luffy countering every move Krieg throws at him.

Neat article. Greg confirmed the authenticity of at least one of these anecdotes on twitter.
I think Worst in the East will be Arlong Park and its fallout. Thinking about it, Loguetown might work well as a season opener, since it introduces a bunch of new characters, while reminding us of existing information like Roger’s execution.
Putting dialogue over a trailer does not mean that's in-episode narration. It could very much just be a scene he has with Koby or Zoro.
Also a dedicated narrator in a live episode tv series would be fucking awful.
I feel like "all the best material is in the trailer" is a weird myth the '10s came up with that simply won't die, along with "review embargoes means product is bad".
The Strawhats are wearing modern clothes for the most part. Luffy even looks to be switching things up.
Alvida was a one chapter villain, the fact she got a whole ass ship built for this show is already suggesting she’s getting as much screentime as her character deserves.
Watched the trailer again. I think Nami is fighting with Zoro and Luffy at Shell Town.
This is the order of presentations. One Piece near the end as was leaked previously.
Peter Parker sleeping with Ms. Marvel’s mask is very, very weird.
Meanwhile, MJ’s kids “died” (she wasn’t particularly affected by Kamala dying for her) and she’s not even in this issue.
Episode 990 is when Yamato first speaks properly.

@last-exit-to-laughtale It's easy to focus on the figurehead because that's the main thing we've seen, but it's possible that the entire ship just didn't work.
It does seem like a ridiculous a notion for a TV production to make late changes, but Hollywood literally does reshoots for everything all the time, sometimes weeks before release, for this very reason.
What possibly happened (which is all speculative of course) is that they filmed, and for whatever reason the ship just didn't work in post. Hell, it's possible there is no updated prop (Have we seen this updated ship physically yet?) and this Merry was digitally fixed in post. Maybe that's why people find it so creepy.
Can’t wait for the reveal that Oda himself did the concept art for nightmare fuel disgrace to the manga merry.
Lordy, JMS is returning to Marvel….

The Goblin Queen reference just reminds me of how weird Inferno is as an event since it was an absolutely massive crossover that none of the various shows or films since have even remotely attempted to adapt or even reference.
Until recent reassessments, it was generally considered a very bad event that existed exclusively because the new editor wanted to get rid of some characters, while absolving some other characters of their guilty consciences. It's also a story that doesn't really fit traditional X-Men story beats and tropes.
FWIW, I don't agree with the reassessments. It's a bad story! Some of the various demonic NYC visuals were very cool though.
Technically, it's still May 31in some parts of the world but it's weird Weekly Shonen Jump would hype up May 31 as the release date of a key visual and a website launch and not go through with it.

Hobgoblin 2 (Ned Leeds )
Hobgoblin 3 (Jason Macendale)
Jack'O Lantern (Jason Macendale)
Demogoblin (Jason Macendale)
Hobgoblin 2211 (time travelling goblin)
Green Goblin (Norman Osborn)
Green Goblin 2 (Harry Osborn)
Green Goblin 3 (Bart Hamilton)
Green Goblin 4 (Normie Osborn, Mayday villain)
Fury the Goblin Queen (Mayday villain)
Red Goblin (Norman Osborn and Carnage)
Gold Goblin (Norman Osborn "hero version")
Menace (Fiance of Harry Osborn)
Monster
Goblin Nation (an entire army of goblin themed baddies)
Grey Goblin (Gabriel Stacey)
Gobln King (Phil Urich)Then there's alternate reality versions so you get Goblin (alt universe Peter Parker) and Ultimate versions of Hobgoblin and Green but thats a whole different universe, counting those is cheating a bit.
And lets not forget that at his heydey of popularity, Venom had SEVEN offspring kids. Carnage, Scream, Riot, Agony, Lasher, Phage, Sleeper... and has also been Scorpion Venom. Then there's the clone Mania and Anti-Venom. And his human kid that's also part symbiote, Dylan Brock. That's NINE+ symbiotes
I think the heyday of Venom popularity is The Current Times actually. There’s a Summer of Symbiotes event that consists of about a dozen symbiote-related titles.
In other news, the showrunner of X-Men '97 left Twitter in a huff after people took him to task over Sunspot being voiced by a white guy and Magneto being voiced by the goblin villain from Hogwarts Legacy. The same guy who regularly shits on comic book colleagues for not being true to the characters he envisions.
Also they released a variant cover last week drawn by a storyboarder on that show and it looked like shit.
It’s very funny that Aunt May is now dead in all the popular media adaptations. And that Peter has a child in the cartoon movie when he’s supposed to be “relatable” to kids.
Kevin Feige making Zeb Wells the script doctor of like half the MCU movies just when he is nuking his status as a reliably solid writer was certainly a choice.
https://ew.com/books/ms-marvel-kamala-khan-will-die-in-marvel-comic/
The news is out officially.
I will say it is very funny that the segments of comics twitter that were howling at the anguish and rage Spider-Man fans went through over the past year because of their silly straight white male PeterxMJ shipping are now saying Zeb Wells deserves a bullet in the neck.
Spoilers for Amazing Spider-Man #26 are out which is the 50th anniversary issue of Gwen Stacy’s death and also the issue where Zeb Wells was adviced he should go into hiding and not visit conventions for a few months.
Tekking attributes the translation of Oda’s message to Artur lol (tbf Artur posted that message without proper credit on his twitter, which is a very Artur thing to do).

Eight episodes, huh? Maybe they are cutting Logue Town? They still haven't revealed Smoker and Tashigi's actors.
The creators of Warrior Nun (I think it was Warrior Nun) talked about how Netflix decided to cut down all their original content series to 8 episodes per season with longer running times per episode. This is a cost-cutting measure (you have to pay less writers) and is in fact one of the many reasons the WGA is striking right now, with Netflix being the most unwilling of all the companies to strike a favourable deal.
Nobody gives a shit about the middle of the night ratings of a cable channel except weird nostalgic nerds who think the Toonami brand is the key to success.

Question, who did you guys vote for in the 3 X-Men elections?
Marrow, Surge and Juggernaut. Would’ve voted for Frenzy in the 3rd poll, but I strategically voted for whoever was most likely to defeat Jubilee.
