Everything in this arc would have been so much easier if Momo stopped giving away the ball to that guy.

RE: Sakamoto Days
Old man as antagonist instead of ally? Nobody's at that level, so they probably befriend him somehow.
-
RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
Apocalypse was nice enough to not spoil Nico about past loops, plus all of those memories were of loop 101 with Ichico. I wonder how are Feng and Ichico coming back, we know Life is Strange can revive people but it's one at a time and it locks itself after use. And the biggest surprise is that Nico and Ichico already talked about their relationship like adults and decided to put it on hold.

RE: Dandadan
If the spirit didn't care about people who don't complete the game, then he could have let the old man free sooner.
-
RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
Smart Feng with soul power is too strong. I think Nico used the absolute zero card last loop as well, since we saw Lan freezing back then. Maybe even chained it to coffee somehow while he was at it.
-
RE: The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You
I think it's a reference to Ashita no Joe's ending, where the protagonist "burns out", becoming all white and dying. But instead of sitting upright Rentarou is all wiggly, hence the Luffy namedrop.

RE: Chainsaw-man
That confirms that the dude really cheated on his wife.
-
RE: Jujutsu Kaisen
Black Flash doesn't even make sense and even Gege made fun out of it being exponential rather than multiplicative. Why do people even care what Gojo's exact words are, he just said he wasn't able to do it consecutively for reasons.
-
RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
I think Feng will waste at least one turn summoning something strong to fight it himself, ignoring Lan and the game. The one sided communication from Nico to Ichico, on top of telepathic communication between Ichico and Fuko with no hint on who's the owner of the speech bubble make for a very confusing read. Also, War attacking Fuko's group was random.
-
RE: Onepunch-Man (redrawn version)
I lost all interest with the monster association redraws, followed until the unsatisfying conclusion and that's it. Seems like it was the right decision, since the issue continues.
Also, the appeal of OPM is lost now that overpowered MCs are everywhere, covering the whole range from gag to serious. -
RE: Chainsaw-man
I was wondering why Asa didn't want to see the weiner, I had forgotten she didn't know chainsawman is Denji. She 100% would have wanted to see it otherwise.

RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
The Oldest Game with shiritori rules in multiple languages. Expected but still cool.
-
RE: Sakamoto Days
The Curie temperature of steel is 770ºC according to google. At that point just have the dude accidentally burn magnet girl.
-
RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
It's going to be shiritori, isn' it?. Also hard confirmation that non negators can sit at the table, which was probably handy during the first iterations before Death and Justice became master rules.
-
RE: Chainsaw-man
Guillotine left us too soon. I wonder how much of what the dude buying time said was true. Are people still turning into chainsawman, and randomly at that?
-
RE: Dandadan
Initially I thought the game was going to be about adventure, but it was just a boss rush plus a war ending. There was not much point to the frog village other than having them rest (only for Zuma to waste half his spiritual power anyway). At least Tatsu's good at drawing fights against hordes of clones.
-
RE: Chainsaw-man
The guillotine devil had seen better days. I really like its design, still.
-
RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
On the other hand, Remember was available at loops 100 and 101 for a pseudo succession line effect. Plus Soul Caliber and Game of Death were likely created to train humans on soul manipulation.
-
RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
The thing is, whatever causes the tragedies, every piece of evidence so far points them to be a near constant:
-The slave buyers comment how Negators don't tend to live long.
-Fuko committed suicide on every loop so far.
-All the stuff we see happening on loop 100 and nearly happening on loop 101.
-Extras making hypothesis of how Top's stopping Unstoppable might have been to keep running until he dies if his interpretation was slightly different.
-Unknown acting as a trap to a quest reward.
So it still creates a dissonance when the spirits go "we knew we made a good choice", since that make still made Fuko lose her parents and kill a whole plane worth of people. -
RE: Dandadan
The opposite for me, I liked the invasion but the plot inside the game is extremely boring to me. I just want them to get out and know what will happen with the old dude and how the game ties with Saint Germain.

RE: The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You
Well, I just learned that I skipped a chapter.
-
RE: The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You
They wasted Nano's pi obsession on baby Suu. They could have bonded over that and Suu could have a second friend.

RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
@black-leg-jex said in UNDEAD UNLUCK:
then is it the case that the negation ability is actually a soul that fuses with your own soul and persits after death, finding a new soul to inhabit every time?
The comparison that is always made is souls as vessels. The soul can hold a negation ability. UMAs use that term al the time.
More specific examples to work on the details

RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
So, will Fuuko be able to see or even control her own soul chains to choose the unluck? Did those guys live a normal life this loop? Will this become haki, and everything becomes a fight of who's soul is stronger? Also, poor whale.
-
RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
7 could be UMA Past. Juiz participated on the capture that one last loop, so it's consistent with Unjustice being a hard counter to the 10 master rules. It also makes sense that the reward was Rebellion, as it must have been a major fight. And since Beast didn't mention it, I guess his role must be more technical. Past might be responsible for rules being retroactive to all non negators, which doesn't affect humanity as a whole but does make negators clueless about the rules, which is a disadvantage.
-
RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
It's funny that on the world where people actually believe in evolution, the truth is creationism.
I don't know if there's still anime onlys visiting, but whatever
-
RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
I have the impression Beast really didn't know that not all UMAs have a corresponding negator.
-
RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
He had to break a bone to stop. He just broke his arm each time like it was nothing.
-
RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
This week the anime was great the first half, and then dragged too much the second half.
-
RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
The anime directing really dropped the ball with all those flashbacks and repeating scenes.
Manga stuff:
-
RE: Dandadan
I don't know if the monster was made of candy, but they're next to the starting area which had candy growing from plants and stuff. It's possible the whole game is like that, since the old man said he survived because there were lots of sweets.
-
RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
Julia needs to calm down. Let's see if Top looks older or not.
-
RE: Dr. Stone
I think that even if we get more extras or side stories, they won't commit to anything that changes the open ending of the manga. That is, no confirmation of Senku x Kohaku or the viability of the time machine.
-
RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
Nico and Ichico are already sharing room, they need to drop the cigarettes fast for Mico's sake.
-
RE: Black Clover
At this pace the ending will feel rushed no matter what unless the manga lasts for years. All things considered, it was a decent read and didn't lose its identity like other long fighting shonen did. The black bulls were a great supporting cast, a shame that the main rival title has held all this time by Yuno, which is the weakest element by far.
-
RE: Sakamoto Days
I don't know if this is making fun at katanas being fragile or if Sakamoto folded that origami shuriken a thousand times because he's cool like that.
-
RE: Dr. Stone
Whyman acted on it's own and petrified all mosquitoes in the zone where they live. Activating on it's own caused his diamond battery to nearly die, which shouldn't have happened if he just worked on the silk (I'm guessing his power consumption grows with volume, so radius cubed). I think (and probably Ryusui thinks so too) that Whyman impersonated Byakuya to motivate Senku to work harder. Whyman's plotting something.
On another note, seems like every extra chapter needs a Senku x Kohaku tease. And that haircut looks really good on her.
-
RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
They got absolutely scammed with the reward for UMA Language near the beginning.
-
RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
When they were falling to the sun last time, they correctly fell for a couple of months, and specifically less than 3. I guess Tozuka googled that the sun's gravity is "only" 28 times that of the Earth and went "eh, these guys can stop trucks with kung fu". I wish they just namedropped UMA gravity like they did with UMA heat.
Also, since the third was Change, I'm re-guessing that the fifth is Break. -
RE: UNDEAD UNLUCK
The anime continues it's slow pacing, but so much stuff happens each episode that I don't think any faster would be better. Galaxy was good, the Acks could have used more panoramic views instead of so many close shots.
Manga stuff.

RE: The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You
I think I'll have to do the same as with Naddy and just skim read whatever #27 says. Thick "accents" are amongst my least favorite things to read.
-
RE: Dandadan
I just hope that we don't meet Momo's ex for some "funny" misunderstandings with Okarun.
-
RE: Chainsaw-man
Everyone is trying to break Denji to push him in a certain direction. He'll snap, but we don't know what's he going to do.
