@The:
At least this is tame compared to the past. LOL
Now he's the president of the us he's supposed to give up on the conspiracy talk alltogether and unite
Saying people who protest against you are paid does nothing to dignify the office -
RE: Indecision 2016 - In Soviet Russia, we elect american president!
Apparently President Elect Trump won't give up on his midnight twitter rants:
Just had a very open and successful presidential election. Now professional protesters, incited by the media, are protesting. Very unfair
Talk about uniting the country lmao

RE: Indecision 2016 - In Soviet Russia, we elect american president!
About the mandate thing and the electoral college,it wasn't an issue for any of the 5 candidates.None of them ever brought it up.It's a legitimate question but not for this election where all the candidates knew very well that it could be a possible outcome and by running they accepted it.

RE: Indecision 2016 - In Soviet Russia, we elect american president!
The president elect of the United States is someone who was tweeting less than a month ago:
"Check out sex tape".
I can't get over that fact -
RE: Indecision 2016 - In Soviet Russia, we elect american president!
Probably one of the biggest upset in modern history.
Hillary her campaign and the democrats failed that all it comes down to in the end. Blaming the electorate is all good but, many of those who didn't vote for hillary were swing voters. The blame of not getting those votes should rest entirely on the losers.
Hillary wasn't the right candidate, democrats should learn their lessons from what happened today and act accordingly.

@Monkey:
Aside from the fact that Aleppo is the epicenter of the Syrian refugee crisis?
There is no such thing as a "gotcha question". That's a bullshit term made up by the empty head of Sarah Palin.
Aleppo is a super famous city.
Aleppo is one of the two huge cities in Syria.
Aleppo is the center of all the worst violence and fighting in the Syrian Civil War.
There are near daily news stories on just CNN (let alone actually tracking the war through comprehensive media) about bombings and misery in Aleppo. You're talking like its some provincial town that would be irrelevant trivia. No.
As of today(or yesterday since that's when he was asked)aleppo is in the news because it's under siege by the syrian army and the rebels are losing it.It's also relevant because the regime seems to have used chemical weapons a few days ago.But the fact that the host brought it up to talk about the refugee crisis and not the current battle going on seems pretty dubious.
The fact that aleppo is the 2nd city of syria after damascus(at least that was the case before the war)and it's strategic importance to both sides might make it the epicenter of the conflict between the rebellion and the regime. But it only makes it an element of the refugee crisis.Every battleground, every area controlled by daesh(like raqqa),every area where the basic needs of the population aren't being met, every area that's near a border contributes to the refugee crisis.
Syria as a whole is the epicenter of the refugees crisis(and arguably not just syria)When trump doesn't know the names of the leaders of hezbollah and isis or what the nuclear triad is,the lame stream media thinks it's ok.But one gaffe from gary johnson and they say he's unqualified.I am disgusted by their double standards all they care about is entertainment and money facts are irrelevant to them, just watch trump's town hall no follow ups on all his absurd nonsense just pure a** kissing.
Edit:I was wrong aleppo was actually the largest syrian city before the conflict(30 k more inhabitants than Damascus)
-
RE: Indecision 2016 - In Soviet Russia, we elect american president!
Gary Johnson: "What is Aleppo?"
The fact that the journalist told him that it's the epicenter of the syrian refugee crisis(which is absurd) makes me think that he had no reason to use the word aleppo instead of syria except to turn it into a gotcha question
It's still inexcusable for a presidential candidate not to know where aleppo is -
RE: Brexit thread (Britain's leaving the EU)
Shouldn't a vote on something this huge require an actual majority? Like, a proper 2/3? Not just 51%?
But then, it managed 51% so I guess a lot of people wanted it. Even if they're saying the very next day they didn't actually mean it because they were spite voting? What te hell?
I'm kind of terrified of Bernie supporters doing the same thing in November and letting Trump win.
I think it should require 50% of registered voters.

RE: Indecision 2016 - In Soviet Russia, we elect american president!
It's so funny to see that the establishments of both parties have unfair and undemocratic processes and rules supposed to give an easier path to the nomination to their favorite candidates and it ended backfiring at them
For the republicans trump would probably not have won the nomination if they had only proportional primaries
For the democrats hillary has to wait until the convention to be confirmed despite her huge lead in the pledged delegates count because of the super delegate system that might have secured the nomination for her if things went bad. -
RE: Smartest One Piece character?
When it comes to strategic ability, planning of battles+predicting the enemy's actions I put my money on law
When it comes to knowledge i'd say vegapunk -
RE: Indecision 2016 - In Soviet Russia, we elect american president!
Hey
I've seen a fox news poll and apparently Ted Cruz is leading Hillary Clinton by 1 point in the general election
Would Clinton really struggle to beat someone like Ted Cruz despite his divisive far right rhetoric?Or is fox news making up it's data?
I know Clinton doesn't stir up enthusiasm the way Bernie Sanders does especially because of her hawkish foreign policy and her wall street speeches, but it still seems kind of crazy that she would have to battle hard to beat such a Nutjob.Cruz and Trump are both crazy so in both cases i'd expect a landslide win for Hillary. -
RE: Chapter 822: Descending the Elephant
looking forward to the reverie

RE: Chapter 791: "Rubble"

RE: Gear 4th
Luffy came up with gear 4 at ruskhaina so unlike gear 3 and 2 (at the time he first used them)it's a technique he might already be used to.So the drawback effect might be minimal.

RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaahhhhh
argentina qualifies for the final!!!!!!! -
RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
Brazil was the better team today(of the 90 minutes that is)
I agree that Brazil is kind of disappointing but who isn't?
So far all the "big teams"have looked vulnerable at one point or another.Germany against ghana and algeria.holland against mexico.Argentina in all of it's games.
I think brazil will win it's 6th star(and keep the second world cup trophy permanently). They have the individual talents, they can step up the level of their game(they showed a glimpse of it today) and they can find the mental resources and motivation to win at home. -
RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
Don't know if it was already posted : http://acidcow.com/pics/60973-anime-mascots-for-your-favorite-world-cup-teams.html

Overall belgium is the better team so far. -
RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
No pks, shame for switzerland. But they can be proud they played well today
-
RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
You know that a match is exciting if you're doing a million other things on the side. ~.~
Same here, i'm a bit disappointed by argentina and the way they play.
The swiss are doing great. -
RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
@Monkey:
You're Algerian? Cool. I think at long last that completes the North African bingo game we were playing with AP users.
I think the user "ica" is algerian too
-
RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
Proud of Algeria, our players played with their guts.
Maybe with more luck and efficiency forward we could have scored a goal in the first 60 minutes. But in the end the german players thanks to their fitness managed to pull it off. -
RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
Teams i'll cheer for in the second round:the two gerias:wub:,brazil, mexico, colombia, costa rica, argentina and belgium.
-
RE: FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil
Argentina is extremely disappointing

RE: One Piece Chapter 741 - Usoland The Liar
thanks for the chapter
I'm also annoyed with the slow progression of the story ever since chapter 733.I think I'll stop reading one piece for 2 or 3 months and I hope the fights of this arc will be fully set up by then. -
RE: Pls delete

RE: True Detective
Yes,Yes and Yes!!!!
I haven't felt as captivated by a crime/investigation series since "the wire".
With this and black sails this winter season is looking very promising. -
RE: Legend of the Galactic Heroes
I don't understand why they decided to re adapt it,the original's picture quality is still decent by today's standards(unlike yamato 2199).
But anyways it's still a great news, the best sci fi anime ever is getting a re adaptation, why would i complain. -
RE: General football "soccer" thread
@Massimo:
Brazil, Russia, and Qatar, what's the similarity of these countries?
They're well on course to screw the next WC events up.
Construction and social problems in Brazil, Sochi is fucked up so bad, the heat problem in Qatar.
And now Blatter wants his fifth terms as FIFA president smh. They won't screw up,if they put the right amount of money in the event.
South africa had economic, social and huge criminality problems yet they managed to organize a great world cup. -
RE: Chapter 735: "Fujitora's Intentions"
Thanks for the chapter
Reverie=royal summit? -
RE: Pls delete
looking forward to what happens next
! Though I hope the protagonist doesn't remain too long in the same time loop and manages to get out of it very soon into the story
-
RE: The Gamer
So far this is the best fiction about gaming i've ever read,i hope they keep it up
-
RE: AP Awards Discussion Thread
Because they exist. Period.
So do thousands of other mangas.
According to the sales figures in 2013 there are 3 mangas that deserve an award more than naruto and 13 that deserve it more than bleach. -
RE: AP Awards Discussion Thread
Why are there bleach and naruto awards?
