I think that Oda's ideas for having a dwarf in the crew were transferred to Chopper. He's small, cute, and gullible. I just don't see a dwarf joining. Among the other problems of the dwarves right now…. none of them have interacted with Luffy yet and there's no foreseeable instance of them crossing paths before the end of the climax of this arc. Unless Luffy goes "lmao tiny dwarf. Become my nakama" I don't think it'll happen. Also none of the dwarves introduced so far have some tragic backstory. Manshelly could potentially give the fact that she's was kidnapped and doing slave labor in Doflamingo's factory but that doesn't go for the other dwarves.

Also while I like the idea of Leo being an astronomer that has too much in common with Nami. Astronomers for a long time would use their knowledge for celestial navigation and we already have a navigator.

A potential gardener is possible but I don't think that should be limited to just dwarves. Dressrosa is known for its flowers and I think any of its citizens not just dwarves but also people like Rebecca and Viola could be a gardener as well. I don't know about Viola but we've had at least one scene with Rebecca picking out flowers with her mother.

I agree Barto could have more fighting techniques up his sleeve, just that we haven't seen any yet. At least Viola had kicked Sanji pretty nicely and because she's an executive officer and assassin she presumably has some kind of fighting ability other than eye whales. Its implied that all of Doffy's executive officers are strong and capable of handling themselves (except for Sugar who is constantly protected by Trebol)

As far as her clairvoyance ability. I'm not really sure. Its a powerful ability but we don't know how detailed it is. We only know she can get a birds eye view of things and search within a 4000km radius. To be clear, its not that she can see everything at any given moment happening in a 4000km radius. So far we know she was able to scout marine ships and the number of marines on them. She was also able to see lightning hit the Sunny. However, to our knowledge, she didn't know why or how lightning hit the Sunny. So as far as we know she gets a birds eye view but so far nothing more detailed. I don't feel like that's necessarily a walking spoiler. I mean it'd be helpful if marine ships or a buster call were in tow but its not like she knows her enemy's plans like some people seem to think. I mean, if she could find out the Strawhat's plans before they arrived in Dressrosa with her ability then there'd be no point in trying to read Sanji's mind in the first place.

It would be great if Sabo joins SH but i feel it's less likely to happen! Sabo is more like Luffy's family as well as his greatest ally!

if anyone has a chance it's Kin'emon and his son, they seem to have a good connection with multiple crew members, it looks like they have some sort of tragic past, it's to early to know if they have some sort of dreams but they'll definitely be traveling with the crew for a few more islands

but the major problem is Kin'emon doesn't seem to have any real sort of connection with Luffy yet, and while the brook comparisons are plenty, and both sanji and zoro have an interest in him, the main characters the one you really need to care about you…. but we do have wano that seems to be tied in with Kaidou so maybe there's time for their relationship to grow (I do agree he makes an excellent rival for Brook) still I think they'll be honorary members like Vivi and Carue are

and although it in no way effects the decision on who shall join the crew, if kin'emon and momonosuke join the whole tier level thing will remian even

It's logical to accept Roronoa is the VC, even though the SHs don't have ranks but roles. Their life is based around combat which is why they all strife to get stronger. If for some reason Luffy is "out of service", the person that will take mantle in times of trouble is Zoro, not Ussop.

For the next Nakama, I don't think he/she needs a defined role to join. The next person can be anyone, probably join out of circumstance. Personally, I want the crew to have a Logia DF eater which is why am an advocate of Mera Mera going to the SHs instead of Coby or Sabo or whaterver. That way, even though they are a small crew they have everything. Paramecia, Zoan, Logia and non DF users. Only thing am against is another Nami looking girl that will drive Sanji crazy. I hope we get someone big though, either very tall or big.
