@Green:
Hey, Akumashogun, I just wanted to say that I've ordered the first Jack Staff trade and it'll be here in two weeks.
Many thanks for the advice.
Haha, you're very welcome!
I know I've probably said this before, but as good as Paul Grist's art is in black and white, its 10x better in color.

As far as Pete's Identity is concerned. A lot of people on the other forums I inhabit have mentioned the fact that Loki owes Spidey for saving his daughter. Loki even offered him what ever he desired. Spidey pretty much just said "ehhh I think I will hold onto that for now". So it would be very possible for everyone to forget he is Spiderman.

Yeah I read Infinite Crisis. I thought a lot of the build up to infinite Crisis was good. For example I loved Identity Crisis. It was human, and dealt with real emotions and real problems. The characters felt like real people to me and I could relate to them on some level. I loved what they did with Dr. Light.
Infinite Crisis was…..not really the same
Identity Crisis had some interesting ideas but the execution wasn't up to par. The big flaws being the ending and the whole Sue Dibny rape thing. Infinite Crisis on the other hand I didn't read (and I'm glad I didn't) because:
! * I find it hard to believe that the heroes from the first big Crisis would suddenly turn around and become the villains.
- The Anti-Monitor was a pretty damn good villain and it would be next to impossible to top him.
- They killed the Psycho Pirate. I always liked the idea that there was one person who remembered the original Crisis.
- Superboy punching reality, besides being a lazy way to fix continuity gaps, is so stupid, it's funny.
Keep in mind that by no means is Crisis on Infinite Earths a perfect story. There are a lot of shitty deaths, dialogue that is at times weird (practically everyone at some point in the story refers to themselves in the third-person) and it made a big ol' mess out of DC's continuity that has taken years to fix. But I'll say this for DC, I am very grateful that Animal Man is still alive. And if he makes it through 52, I will kiss the feet of each of the writers.
Sorry for the big post, but I guess I'm overcompensating for not being here for a while. Also,this is just one crazy bastard's ramblings. I could be, and am probably, wrong.
