Momo?
If such a transformation is good enough for Billy Batson/Shazam! (Captain Marvel-DC), maybe it can work for Momo.

Sad tale.
As a middle-aged guy who enjoys manga, Miura's death has made me more convinced: Whatever your epic tale, whether weekly, bi-monthly or monthly, keep your story tight and tell it in 12 years or less.
Gravity increase on the target (spoken name of target), peaceful death for the speaker.
"Kengan Ashura manga will return in winter 2019 with a new arc" I'd love to see what kind of continuation will come out from this.
Tokita Ohma shall be missed.
We'll see what the new arc has in store for Yamashita, his kid coming out of the shadows and this "Tiger" group.
I think that's a hint that Oda should wrap One Piece up in the next 10 years. Seems to me that any mangaka saga shouldn't take more than 25 years tops to tell, and most of these could have been done in 10.
We're human beings with limited lifespans, man.
Bi-monthly. Currently translated to Issue 16 part 2.
There's a difference between a labor of love and a labor of love on someone else's deadlines and timeframe. Committing to a manga as your labor of love means a very rigorous weekly commitment (or monthly or whatever) for decades at a time. Can see why so many seem to just chuck it out the window ten years in.
That's why I'm a proponent of a manga not going more than 10 years at a time. After the 10 years, if you want to continue a story as a GT or "beyond" phase…that's up to the mangaka, the profitability of the thing and the support your publisher gives you...just think it's too easy to become bored, whether it's the readers or the mangaka his or herself.
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
It's one thing if you start reading a manga that becomes fabulously popular when you're 10 to 15 years old. You grow up with it.
Life is finite folks. Younger kids don't think much about that stuff as children or teens...but if you have a plan to have your ultimate storyline take 30 years to complete, man...it better be an epic story.
People age. They get illnesses. Families. Other distractions. Too easy for mangaka to get tired or bored.
The combination of a ham-fisted response and laziness. Oops.
