I think I only watched like one episode of 2000 WCW which was a random episode as I had stopped watching months prior to this and yeah but I have seen and heard about the shit that went on during that period and these people have zero clue as to what they’re talking about.

Yep, Jack joined the House of Torture last month during the New Japan cup. I'm In the middle of rewatching WCW (currently in 97). I'm a bit worried when I get to the end of 98/beginning of 99, since that's the beginning of downward spiral. I'll admit there are a couple things of WCW 2000 did I like. But it was mostly the 3 Count and Jung Dragon feud.
Oooh give some thoughts on what you loved/hated from that period.
And yeah I get that feeling of dread I remember when I was watching NWA-WCW and while I liked most of what I watched I remember thinking about how all of everything eventually turns out with The Crocketts selling to Ted Turner and guys like Jim Herd, Bill Watts, Bischoff coming and all the idiotic shit that happened as a consequence.
Currently I'm in the middle of the build up to Great American Bash 97. One thing for sure that I been liking the entire Randy Savage and DDP feud. Back in the day this entire storyline made me an DDP fan and I'm still a fan of his to this day.
Now, that I'm older I appreciate guys like the Faces of Fear (Haku and Barbian), Alex Wright, Fit Finlay, William Regal, and Kanyon (who was Mortis at this point.) alot more now. The one thing I can't wait to get to in my WCW watch through is the introduction of Raven and the Flock. I always been a fan of Raven, he was just a cool villain. Even at this point, I think they beginning to have too many people in the NWO, especially once they begin adding people like Vincent and Buff Bagwell.

A fan was harassing Skye Blue at the Dynamite/ROH taping. Also this fan was probably the same one that was harassing Saraya during the Mariah May Vs. Harley Cameron match during Dynamite. While Bubba was wrong for taking a Bill Watts inspired approach to matters I like the idea at the time that since the fan paid for his ticket he was within his rights to be an asshole.
Flashforward all these years later and you have people actually justifying/excusing this fan’s behavior.
I only watched the final hour of Raw just to see the new Wyatt family that being led by Bo Dallas. I have to say that was intriguing. I really Nikki's new look and she looks scary and I real like her during her run in Sanity. I also recognize both Dexter and Rowan are part of this new faction.

I don't blame AEW for firing Kevin Kelly now. He been really bad for awhile, I only started noticed during his last year of him being NJPW when Mercedes debut at Wrestle Kingdom. And from what I understand Kelly's lawsuit is going to failed big time. Because AEW is in Florida, which is at-will state.
Yeah I’ve read some of his comments and while at least one of them has merit (Tony’s issue with delegating authority). The rest of it just comes off as little more than obligatory pot-shotting not helped by the fact this all happened on Bischoff’s podcast who never misses a chance to shit on AEW in an ignorant or hypocritical manner,

You know all the years past and I’ve come to the sobering realization that for as lauded as the Hulk Hogan heel turn at Bash At The Back 96 was. The execution & set up of the heel turn was fucking stupid.
I watched the match live as it happened without watching much of the build up to it, can’t remember if I watched Hall & Nash showing up which happened separate weeks. With Hall and Nash being effectively viewed as “Outsiders” which if you think about it was pretty dumb since you just can’t have these random dudes showing up without deals or contracts and hitting the ring to cut promos or powerbomb an announcer who is also a key executive of the company off the stage. In addition to the fact that Hall & Nash both had prior stints in WCW.
You also have underlying stuff like Luger’s heel turn from last fall eventually leading to him turning babyface but with the suspicion that he hadn’t truly turned over a new leaf.
And then of course you have the match proper which was announced as a six-man tag match….Hall & Nash start without their “Mystery Partner” effectively making the match a handicap match. Luger accidentally gets taken out by an errant axe handle from Randy Savage who Luger for much of last year had been in a blood feud with, this turns the match into a traditional tag match. Hulk Hogan’s entrance to the match was setup by the referee being distracted leading to Nash low blowing Savage which you would think would setup a comeback or the finish.
Hogan gets in the ring starts attacking Savage throws referee out the ring which under traditional circumstances would be a DQ Hogan newly tuned heel with his new faction can’t take a loss nor get a win?
Then of course they followed this bullshit up with Hogan beating Giant at Hog Wild in a heel vs heel scientific match up and War Games at Fall Brawl where eventhough Giant turned heel in the interim between Hog Wild & Fall Brawl he wasn’t apart of the NWO team in the war games match, that went to “Fake Sting” that no one bought as the real deal and then of course the real Sting after being the last guy in the match hit some moves and then left his team hanging which kinda sorta made sense when you remember Flair & Luger both made an ass out of him at Halloween Havoc the year before……..nevermind the fact Luger & Flair bitter blood enemies were willing to put their contempt for one another to the side for the War Games which was literally something that all four guys on the team agreed to do.
It’s like a lot of hay has been made about how Bischoff, Hogan, Nash etc. screwed up WCW but those 12 months between October 95 & September 96 get questionably glossed over. All for a moment that iconic as it was and how it lead to WCW being at the top of the mountain for 83 weeks was largely shit.
I sure hope for how much this stupid feud has been hyped up Punk holds up his end of the actual match and doesn’t get hurt or go over Drew.

I can't remember the last time Raw was two hours. Frankly, I wasn't sure it's every happen. Still probably won't watch it though. My viewership has been reduced to watching their youtube clips.

I forgot to mention I went to an local indie wrestling show last weekend. It was a wrestling show/convention. At the meet and greet, I got to meet Jordynne Grace and I actually got hold the TNA Knockout Championship. I also want to mention that Jordynne is a really nice person.

Call me crazy but I’m pretty sure I believe Undetaker (views nothwithstanding) more than the carny piece of shit.
Vince seems to casually forget likely due to having CTE himself that Undertaker by this point had already been beaten by Lesnar specifically at No Mercy 2002 but like Smackdown winning that one match at Survivor Series where Raw won almost every match on the card let’s forget all about that.
And the way they were building up Lesnar by this point there was no way they were going to have Taker just go over him like that. Not unless you wanted a repeat of Lesnar-Cena from Extreme Rules or Taker beating Bray the following year and then him and Kane beating the Wyatts at Survivor Series.
But as it was that match should’ve never happened anyway.
Here's my opinion about the Lucha Bros situation. Both Konnan and Penta screwed up big time. I understand why TK had do what he have to do in this situation. The only person, I feel bad in this situation is Rey.
