News regarding upcoming, 3-hour RAW's:
We reported earlier that WWE has announced the return of the King of the Ring concept which is set to take place at the November 29th, 3 hour edition of Raw.
It has also been announced that the 2010 Slammy Awards will take place on the December 13th edition of Raw, which will also be a 3 hour special.
WWE has also announced that the November 15th edition of Raw will have an "Old School" theme and the show's description is as follows: "WWE throws it back Old School when Monday Night Raw takes place live from Hershey's GIANT Center! See your favorite Raw/Smackdown and WWE Legends Live in Hershey!" This show will be 3 hours as well.
Old School theme? …Not sure if want. It SOUNDS okay onscreen, but it all depends on how WWE puts it into practice. But I'm always up for more KotR, and the Slammies are always potential for entertainment.
We've got some bad news with CM Punk though; guy went and got an MRI for his birthday, and the results are in:
WrestleZone has learned CM Punk's injury appears to be serious, as the MRI on his hip apparently shows significant enough damage to warrant a surgery or serious rehabilitation therapy, according to a well-placed WWE source.
"Punk really screwed up his hip, and it needs to be addressed," the source told us earlier today, "this is a major blow to Monday Night Raw, because the only heels on the show are Nexus and Miz. It's pretty obvious Punk was moved to Raw to become a top heel, but that's on hold now because he'll be out at least til the end of the year."
This could be an issue for RAW. We might need another 'trade'. Jack Swagger? Or hey, MVP's been complaining (loudly) about not getting pushed while the younger guys are moved up. Send him over to RAW, and use his complaints as a heel-turning storyline.
Or else they need to get Randy Orton back up to heel status. Or (if they're actually serious about it), push up Cena's heel turn.
Sorry for doubleposting, but OhGod, Vicki's leopard catsuit.
THERE ISN'T ENOUGH BRAIN BLEACH IN THE WORLD.

There goes a potential matchup with Daniel Bryan.
God, I have been enjoying the Danielson Vs. Dolph Matches from all the events this week.

I know, right? It's like it's kismet; these two were made to work with each other.
We could be witnessing the start of something BIG with these two.
EDIT: Michael Cole is talking about how 'our blue brand' won the Bragging Rights match. Um, last I checked Mike, you were on BOTH shows. So you'd probably say the same damn thing if RAW won, you fairweather waif of an announcer.
EDIT EDIT: Melina needs to win the costume contest, for selling the SpiderWoman outfit and not just Diva posing.
The only thing worse than hearing Cole's voice on monday nights is hearing it on friday nights.
Don't fix what isn't broken, just Grisham and Striker is perfectly fine.
And another tag team bites the dust. I actually liked Rhodes and McIntyre together. Not to mention the Hart Dynasty split that is being set up. This is just getting pathetic.

Blame Grisham and Vince not being too high on him.
@Syan:

Wow why not just dissolve the Tag-Team belts if you're going to keep destroying good team combinations at such a quick pace.
Eh would've been too easy.
Blame Grisham and Vince not being too high on him.
Honestly, Vince is high on freakin' Cole, aka the worst thing to ever happen to a microphone. That alone should tell anyone that his desires for the commentary are terrible.
Grisham is a solid straight-man commentator. He's just fine.
OMG, Santino's new shirt. The Cobra Strike on the back. XD
And I know stuff like this Santino/Sheamus/Kozlov thing is meant for cheap laughs, but dammit, I find it FUNNY, so I don't care.
EDIT: And what is WITH everyone slipping up in their lines tonight? Sheamus, Santino, then R-Truth.
If you guys didn't mark out for Lita and also Steph/Trips I don't know what to say. Anyway tonights Raw was really great.
Ok..the Peewee/Miz Segment is hilarious… XD XD
Litas on Raw?
does this mean shes back or is this just a small appearance?
Santino and Kozlov need to wear bowler hats and gentlemen suits for the rest of their careers. Amazing segment between them and Sheamus and the Manchester crowd.
I hear "old school wwe" and think to myself….so they're going to imitate WCW for a week? This just doesn't sound like a good idea, unless they just do skits and let the current guys wrestle.
Sheamus, Santino and Kozlov are comedy gold together, Sheamus makes an awesome straightman for them.
I'll re-iterate what I said about Old School WWE: not sure if want. But I am hoping to see my man Rowdy Roddy Piper, and maybe some Piper's Pit.
But I'm curious: can the WWE even USE that old logo for promotional stuff? I mean, they have to blur out the old WWF logos due to that lawsuit.
WWE made that solid gold classic "W" logo for exactly that purpose. They still can't have the "F" on it at all, though.
I just saw the Sheamus/Koslov/Santino segment.
Whoever wrote this needs a raise.
Fucking Santino made Sheamus break character like 5 times XD
Yes, the Santino and Sheamus stuff was great last night. Since it give us this.

They are allowed to use the classic WWF logo, but not the attitude era WWF logo.

Don't get your hopes up to high (yet).

Hmmm.
That could mean push the envelope as in LOL RATED R EDGY SHIT.
Or.
Make their in-ring wrestling product more ROH/WCW/TNA.
Both of which I'm ok with.
^ As long as it means better use of the talent, better written storylines, and more exciting matchups I'm with it too.
Cautiously optimistic on the 'pushing the envelope' front. Here's hoping.
And the names on the upcoming WWE Top 50 Superstars of all Time (chosen BY WWE) DVD are spoiled, and they are as follows:
! 1. Shawn Michaels
2. The Undertaker
3. Steve Austin
4. Bret Hart
5. The Rock
6. Harley Race
7. Ricky Steamboat
8. Andre the Giant
9. Rey Mysterio.
10. Roddy Piper
11. Eddie Guerrero
12. Triple H
13. Gorgeous George
14. Randy Savage
15. Curt Hennig
16. John Cena
17. Ric Flair
18. Dusty Rhodes
19. Edge
20. Jerry Lawler
21. Lou Thesz
22. Terry Funk
23. Hulk Hogan
24. Bruno Sammartino
25. Chris Jericho
26. Ted DiBiase
27. Fabulous Moolah
28. Freddie Blassie
29. Randy Orton
30. Pat Patterson
31. The Iron Sheik
32. Jimmy Snuka
33. Mick Foley
34. Kurt Angle
35. Buddy Rogers
36. Gorilla Monsoon
37. Junkyard Dog
38. Billy Graham
39. Jake Roberts
40. Big Show
41. Jack Brisco
42. Sgt. Slaughter
43. Kane
44. Nick Bockwinkel
45. Jeff Hardy
46. Dory Funk Jr.
47. Bob Backlund
48. Rick Rude
49. Batista
50. Killer Kowalski
Now naturally, this is going to be debated by WWE fans all over, and IMO there ARE a few people missing, and a few people too high/not high enough (34? 23?. Bitter much?), but I really can't argue over the Top 5, especially the choice for #1.
Here is some of my thoughts on the top 50.
#9: Rey Mysterio (Too Damn high)
#23: Hulk Hogan (Too Low)
#24: Bruno Sammartino (Really Too Low)
#25: Chris Jericho (Needs to higher up on the list)
#33: Mick Foley (Too Low)
#34: Kurt Angle (Too Low as well)
#39: Jake "the Snake" Roberts (Needs to be little bit higher)
Besides those everything pretty much right. I do like where they place Macho Man and Curt Henning at the list. I'm just happy that Rick Rude is on the list.
I'm kinda dissapointed the list didn't have the following people. Sting, Goldberg, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Dino Bravo didn't make the list.

It's a WWE list yo.
And nothing against Goldberg but he was more of a novelty/booking act than a performer.
Other than Jacknifin' Paul Wight there's nothing special there.
been watching SS 1995 and only on the first match but this match is definitely a little weird lol…
great 1 week until SS 2010 but only 3 matches? whats going on?
Crap, forgot about RAW being 3 hours tonight, at least I'll catch most of it.
I have to admit, I lol'd at Mark Henry coming out to his 'Sexual Chocolate' intro music.
EDIT: LOL, they totally did this whole 'Old School' thing to hawk the t-shirts…OHMYGOD JUSTIN ROBERTS, what did they DO to you?
The wigs. The WIIIIIIIGS.
Mark Henry's Sexual Chocolate and that Tony Atlas segment. Pure gold.
This is the first Raw in YEARS that actually has me interested and laughing.
YES, knew we were gonna get us some Piper's Pit, but to have Orton and Cena as guests?
Y'know, they're doing this thing well, and pretty damn thoroughly. Even the openings are old school with new school images.
EDIT: Oh lord, Iron Shiek, Volkoff, Kozlov, and Santino in the same ring. This is so great. I'm DYING.
Double posting, because HOLY SHIT RON SIMMONS.
I love the Rhodes family. Really.
Gotta love good ol' J.R.
I honestly hadn't thought of him showing up tonight, so it realyl surprised me.
Ol' Boomer Sooner!!
Good to see and hear ya again, J.R. We've missed you~
(pleasepleasePLEASE kicks Cole's ass)
I am literally weeping in joy at how amazing this show was. When J.R. came out I literally jumped off my couch and yelled "FUCK YEAH J.R." at the top of my lungs. Best RAW since their MSG show last year with the Vince/Piper segment and Kofi killing Orton.
this show was amazing despite not knowing the music and some of the stars …
and is the siren part of the music?
I loved the small promo screen during the entrances, the interviews and the skits..
wish WWE can be like this more often.
LOL..the look on Ortungas face when george steel destroyed the turnbuckle pad
IRS, the Rhodes..the Dibiases..... tatanka this show is awesome O.O
overall the greatest raw of the year ! :D
wow..must be cleaning time :(
World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstars Shad Gaspard, Luke Gallows, Vance Archer and Caylen Croft and WWE Divas Tiffany and Jillian Hall as of November 19, 2010. WWE wishes them the best in all future endeavors.
Credit to WWE.com
Nothing really lost there.
Not one of them will be remembered in the long run.
Gotta agree with StrawHatRican on this one, no major losses in the group. Best part is I never have to mute the TV whenever Jillian pulls out a microphone.
JTG's not gone and Shad is?
^ What makes you think he won't be next.
JTG's not gone and Shad is?
JTG was the better wrestler/personality of that Tag Team.
Don't even try to say otherwise…
I never DID understand why the E pushed Shad as a solo performer instead.
I mean he's big and all...
Oh.
Right.
=\
First match is Dibiase vs Daniel Bryan ..
hopefully this is the night the title goes to dibiase
anyone know what the new theme is for Dibiase?
Lol..the lights went dark for a few seconds.
EDIT: i cant spell tonight for some reason
EDIT:OK…3 times for the lights now...this is got to be a coincidence
overall…good PPV.. I am saddened though about the stipulation on the last match and the fact the Edge vs Kane match ended in a tie.
Wonder how WWE will be Cena-less? Ill still watch Raw despite all this.
I still think something could happen on raw tomorrow though..
It still fells weird though
