that's because I didn't want to determine the amount of effort a person puts into his artwork basing solely on his skill level.
so I'm assuming most of the people who post their stuff in nsider worked hard on their stuff, even if the majority of it being sprite comics, ms paint art, or 3 crude circles titled 'sonic'.
! e1n knows this well, I've been posting in the Nsider forum for over a year now with relatively little success.
maybe I just can't tap into the mind of these attention-seeking, mispelling, can't-punctuate-even-if-their-life-depended-on-it-ing, complaining-just-about-everything-ing, 13 years old audience.
! for example, it seems to be that a thread title with an abundence of exclamation marks tend to draw more attention than a well-informing title.
certainly, more people crams into the thread titled "yeS!!!YES!!!!!!1" than the one titled "Eggy's Comics [4 new Twilight Princess comics up] (updated since Sept 9)".
but of course, even I would be checking into the "yeS!!!YES!!!!!1" thread, thinking that some teen is reaching orgasm for the first time from jacking off to midna's true form (oh, wait a minute, imp form, I meant).
! bumping is perhaps the most important factor in the success of a thread.
in a forum where hundreds of nintendo fanboys swarm in and out every hour, it is natural that new threads are plentiful, and that the old threads get pushed down fast.
bumping one's own thread means a spot in the front page, and almost always gurantees sympathy visits from 3-5 posters from the hundreds that surge in.
(but of course, if you have a title as catchy and dubious as "yeS!!!!YES!!!!!!1", you'd naturally get more views)
! ass-kissing also significantly boosts the chance of a successful thread.
replying with a 'thank you soooo muuuch!!!' to every positive comment not only makes people like you more, but it also functions as a thread-bumpage.
(two birds, one stone, eh?)
now it's been called to my attention that perhaps I've been too cold towards my audience since I rarely reply their comments.
it's something that I'm trying to improve on, and the result is steadily showing. (see dA: deviant's comments)
nevertheless, I don't see the point in replying to EVERY SINGLE COMMENT, especially to ones with very little meanings such as "COOOL!!!" or "sweet!".
! offering guest-appearance always gurantees some responses.
it seems that people can't get enough of seeing the sprited versions of themselves battling alongside with fox mcloud and tails against the evil sephiroth while mario throws away his plumbing tools and unsheathes the exalibur (wtf?) in the thousands of spirte comic pages that litter the forum.
or of fangirls finally having their dreams fulfilled when a fanfictionist weds her and link in a grand ceremony after which the couple retire into slimy bowels of jabujabu where they may incubate their half-elf-half-chocobo child.
! in any case, it's quite futile to complain about all of these, since attempts to improve the forums are seemingly impossible due to good-for-nothing mods, admins, and NOAs (that literally crushes my dream to work for Nintendo, of America, at least) and that pathetic post-count rank system which grants elite power to those who have nothing better to do than sit around at home all day posting one to two words posts.
! oh wow, I wasn't even planning on ranting this much, I guess something just flows out more naturally than others, huh? like extreme hatred. XD

and that's not even talking about midna fan forum yet -
your trying to get attention on these forums, so you get noticed by nintendo and get a job? Well, you menchioed about how all these other users get attantion. Though, will doing that get you noticed by nintendo, and on their good side?
If your not good at responding, can you find someone to respond for you? a secritary of sorts.
Or maybe some of us, that have acounts there, could e nice and go bump your thread with comments.

I dunno taboo. depends on if he's going for a realistic look or a more cartoony look. and it also depends on how big they are, and what she is going to be wearing. (if she's going to wear anything at all)
If that is robin, and your trying to stay true to oda's style, I would say they should be a little more perky. but what you have now is ok too. (i like how you draw realisticly)
if that's robin, I'd say they should actually be a little bigger.

Yeah, a little flat. But your right, they're down a little too far. but I have to admit you're definately drawing her in a more realistic style then most. It's a simple fix (I think) You simply have to adjust them upwards.
