Personally, I think this arc's going to end tragically. Something along the lines of Spandam shooting Robin in the heart, then Lucci coming over and ripping him to pieces because Lucci will reveal himself to be the "Gorosei's Reach" and is in fact authorised to kill Spandam if necessary.
Then Robin somehow recovers, or perhaps she dies. Something, not too sure.

offtopic: If you don't like someone else's opinion (especially about the possible death of a mugiwara) then why get angry about it at all?
ontopic: I think he'll be the only one left on Enies Lobby that is still being shot at by the BC and they will not stop until there is nothing left except the already huge hole in the ocean. That is if the BC ships are still around once Luffy starts to make his escape.

Arlong Park has a degree of maturity expected of members. If one is going through a tough time and feels only cursing can express a certain level of frustration, then the cursing is permitted.
But not for general arguments or attacking other people. Consider being able to curse a privelege on this forum.

May be possible if she isn't popular. The problem with her dying is that many one pice fans will end to read it and oda would loose many fans and money.

ontopic: just so you know that usually doesn't stop writers, if Oda really cares about the way his thing is going (and I believe he does), if there comes a point when someone has to die they are dead

Robin being killed at some point during this arc has crossed my mind more than once, and it would probably be one of, if not the biggest, emotional twist thrown at us, and it'd certainly be different, since a real death hasn't seemed to happen in a while (aside from Saul, and a lot of people still consider that a maybe, no?). However, considering the circumstances (REALLY losing their nakama, and not just one announcing that they're no longer with them), it seems to me the death of Nico Robin would pretty much boost the Strawhats in the direction they've started in- fighting a personal war against the World Government.
It would actually set up for a reeeally long but really epic saga.
… Not to say, of course, I want Robin to die ; ; That would tear my ickle heart to pieces. And they could still fight a war with the WG if they so desired, with Robin.
Oh yeah, by the way, PRETTY SURE Spanda is dead. I mean, an elephant fell on him. And even if it WAS just there for comedy, it's still a freaking elephant.

You know, Joekido, somewhere between the frying, slicing, crushing, and pounding, Spandam should be a pile of mush mush.
I'd like to see Luffy lift all 10 Buster Call warships out of the water and throw, one at a time, all the ships onto Spandam's face. And the soldiers in the ships miraculously survive while flying out by explosion.

Maybe Spandam manages to find a row boat and, when he tries to escape, he sees that there is a misterious iceberg ahead and he can't go anywhere. Then, the SHs catch up with him and Robin gives him a "shake hands" …

Someone posted a Mini-Story for Spandam awhile back. It involved his death and damnation, with a stern lesson for the kids at the end. In fact, one chapter of said Mini-Story was "Squashed by an Elephant". Coincidence?:getlost:
