Delete Quicktime because it sucks ? >.>
-
Go to Windows Explorer, choose Tool > Folder Option > File Type and tweak things there for swf files.
-
you go in firefox options, download and you modify the "actions of download" or something like that. then you say with which player firefox will read the files.
-
Hmm…. none of these worked. The default is flash... and if I uninstall quicktime it says I need a quicktime plugin.
-
A bit of a stupid question, but do you have the most up-to-date version of Quicktime? Try upgrading to it if you don't.
-
another stupid question, do you have flash player installed? i would recommend the latest version also.
if you do have flash player now, try removing quicktime AND flash player, then install the latest version of flash player.
also, I see youre using firefox.. try to check your settings there as well.
tools > options > downloads > download actions > view & edit actions > you can check if your browser is using flash player or not. and change settings ofc.

I'm not sure if this'll work, but it's worth a shot: http://helpqt.apple.com/qthelpwr3/english/QuickTimeHelp/pgs2/qtFmSet.htm
Go to "Opening and playing movies in a web browser"
