1: The only reading that matters (the instructions on how to clear each stage, menus, etc.) can be found on the Gamefaqs translation guides. The beauty of fighting games is that you really don't read to play it.
2: Umm, you're gonna have to be a little more specific. It plays like Smash Bros, and your fighter roster is made like a manga panel…
Too many details... too tired.. but trust me, if you like over 6 different Shonen JUMP titles, enjoy fighters, and etc., then you'll love this game.

Well, beating the game alone will earn you heaping amounts of materials. Every time I restart and beat it again, I go on an ultimate spending spree. If not, then you have to go back to all the worlds and beat the Special Missions. Those usually give materials.
The rest is earned from the Arena and winning online.
Arena? May I ask what that is? I've been playing the mode where you just fight over and over for some time with my Don Flam deck, is that arena mode?

Seeing how No$GBA runs it perfectly now and upon finding an English translation patch for the game I've been playing the shit out of this all morning. I'm onto the third universe (just beat Naruto's world).
This game is fun.
I was going to import it, but I can't find a translation anywhere.
I dunno how you can put this translation onto an official copy of the game, but I know you can put it on a rom then get that rom onto your DS.

I just read through GameFAQs… My god there's a lot to do in this game! So much for just button mashing through worlds. Beyond getting all the tasks on each level completed, you also gotta evolve characters.
I'm considering on importing it, but I don't know if it's worth it. The last game I imported was One Piece: Gear Spirit, and honestly wasn't too pleased with it…

If you're a huge fan of JUMP manga, then you MUST own this game. It's that fun. If it can consistantly be in the top 10 FAQs at GameFAQs.com, when it's an import, then it must be fun.
If you get pumped up by watching these commercials, then stop what you're doing and go out and buy it now.
