"Please let me heal you!"
Yup, you heard it, Clamp is working on a new manga again. It's supposed to be a shonen and is being published in a seinen magazine, Shogakukan, and it srtarts out like a shojo. But, knowing Clamp, we're sure to get a lot more than we expect.
The story:
Hanato Kobato (Kobato means "little dove") has just arrived in town and rented an appartment at Chitose's condominium (yes, the same Chitose from Chobits, or well, not quite the same…). Kobato is a girl with a mission: she has an empty bottle that she's supposed to fill with the suffering of the hearts of the people she meets by healing their souls. When the bottle is full, something will happen (what exactly we don't know yet). To help and guide her, Kobato has Mr. Ioryogi, who looks like a cute inanimate blue toy dog, but actually has the worst attitude ever. xD
Kobato starts working at a kindergarten with the owner Sayaka and the other helper Fujimoto (possible romantic interest?) who she stumbles upon during one of her rounds through the city asking random people if they'll let her heal them (rather unsuccessfully, while Kobato may be all pure and innocent, the people are quite normal). What Kobato doesn't know, is that at the kindergarten they don't just need a helping hand, the yakuza are after them...
Sounds interesting? The monthly chapters started on December 2005 and they're already being scanlated. I'll be on the look out for a good English version, only read the four first chapters in Spanish so far...
