My friend called me from work at Toys R Us today, and told me that the Mattel One Piece figures are out. Not sure if anyone really cares though. They only have the regular figures (not deluxe) and the giant Luffy. He uh….acquired a regular Luffy and the big Luffy, and uh...acquired a Sanji for me...Should be checking TRU tomorrow to see them. I heard they were about $7 or $8. The Giant Luffy says Gum Gum Rocket when you stretch his arm. Not sure what else he says

I went to KB Toys to see if they Had Sanji, and they didnt… in fact, they didnt have ANY op toys... pouts The Luffy was supposedly Ugly but the SANJI AND THE ZORO WERE FINE!! I WANT DAMNIT!! pouts some more

Received the Sanji and Luffy from my friend. The Sanji looks good for the most part, except for the white on his hair. If you rotate his arm, his legs spin around.
The Luffy I received has an open shirt and his two arms stretch.
My friend acquired himself a Talking Luffy. He says a variety of things, and his arms and legs stretch
They had no ZoLo figures, but TRU did have the other Luffy and Kuro. The glasses for Kuro don't look as bad close up, but he has some green in his hair

So his legs do scretch? Funny, the package have you pull on him making his arms stretch while he legs weren't fixed to the package, that led me to believe they didn't stretch. I really want the Stretching Luffy but I don't got 21 bucks.

The legs are kind of strange though. There is some hard piece in it to allow him to stand better. I'll probably get it soon. Maybe it's just me, but something the straw hat doesn't look right on the figures

Yeah, the only way that I would want to hear a Sanji figure talking, would be if it had his original Japanese voice. Does anyone happen to have any pictures of the Kuro figure? I may get it if he dosen't look too bad…..

When I looked on the back of the rip'em packages I don't recall seeing a kuro, all I recall seeing was Luffy, Zoro, Krieg, & Sanji. I might have over looked him tho.

Looking at Toywiz.com, it seems that either there are no Zolos in the first wave of the regular figures, or they're getting bought quickly. I'm going with none in the wave. Same goes for Krieg

TRU by my house got the Pi-ripz in. No Krieg just like I thought. Maybe there will be a wave 1.5 or something…
edit: My friend got me one or two of the regular figures I was missing, and either one or two of the Pi-ripz. The Pi-ripz are bigger than the regular sized figures. My friend also told me he got the triple sowrd Zolo set for himself. I'll be getting the figures on Thursday, and might have pictures up on Friday

Frankly, he's conceptually the only character from the range you could put up in a cubicle without o.O expressions.

I still want sanji. Also do zoro's swords come out of his hands. I have another figure of zoro that i imported but i lost his black sword. (I want santoryu ;-;) Also i might get kuro too.

Zolo's sword does come out of his hand, but I don't think it'll fit the Bandai one, since they're probably too big. The big Sanji and Zolo look pretty good in terms of design. They also come with a DVD that has profiles, top 5 battles, Gum Gum moves and more. Even though most people here hate the dub, I find the DVD to be a cool item to own. They even have music videos using the two OP songs from iTunes.
Just to tell everyone, I use Zolo when referring to US related OP, so don't go screaming that it is ZoRo.

Guys, I think you're letting your bias of the dub cloud your judgement.
Besides that "Power Punch Luffy" (Which he doesn't have, but is horrendous.) the toys don't look half bad.
Yeah, I wish that "Super Stretch Luffy" didn't have suction cups on his hand either… But for the most part it looks good.
Anyways... DX7879.... I take it the DVD's in those "Pi-Ripz" figures don't have episodes, but info on each of the characters?
And if so... What scenes do they use for the "best fights"?
