in awed shock Y'know, last year I spoke with a sf/fantasy agent who used to be Ursula K. Leguin's agent and she came to my college con, and when I spoke to her about movie rights she told me that Ghibli had the rights to Earthsea. I wasn't sure if I believed her.
But she was right! WOO-HOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Small catch: Miyazaki isn't director. It's his son, Goro. That could be a good or a bad thing, I'm not sure. Has he directed anything before?
