RE: What prank are you pulling on April Fools?
I'm about 18 hours ahead of US, so April Fool's is over for me. I actually forgot about it, and didn't really come up with anything interesting this year. I just left a note telling my dad I was running away to live in Sydney and I wasn't coming back, then went to bed. And uh, changed his desktop wallpaper. Yeah, real exciting.

RE: Do we have any hikikomoris here?
Hey dude, my problem probably wasn't the same extent as yours, but I used to hyperventilate everytime I stepped out of my own house. One day about three years ago I had a panic attack on a bus home from university for no reason, and from then on I started having them whenever I was in public with or without anyone there to help me. It made me unhappy for while, and I couldn't attend the rest of my uni semester but I managed to pass it without every needing to go, which was lucky. But anyway at that time I found that I could sit at home and cry about it, or I could go out and fix it. Why? Because I loved life way too much. So I spent the next few months making myself leave the house until I became comfortable again in public with someone with me. That was the first step. After that I met a counseller who helped me through my phobia and I was able to go out in public BY MYSELF, catch buses, go back to uni, and even fly overseas alone without getting freaked out. It's been two years since I got over this, and while it's an experience I don't ever want to go through again, it made me into a stronger, more confident person.
You're not me, but you should probably seek help in the form of counselling or medication instead of moping around at home, feeling sorry for yourself, and generally wasting your life. It's hard getting back on your feet, it's worth it in the end.

RE: Lactose intolerance?
I'm not lactose intolerant, but I get a bellyache every now and again. It sucks because I love having milkshakes and stuff.
I'm a waitress at a conference centre and we always have some weird-ass special diets prepared for some people.

RE: Post how your day was
Today was my first day off work in 9 days, so I made the most of it by doing absolutely nothing at all. Except maybe wash my clothes for work tomorrow (sigh). But other than that, I read books and had a long bath.

RE: Admiral Akainu's protege: Jonathan
I remember the last episode when they mentioned it, and I was like "whaaaaaat? This seemingly nice marine??" After all, if he was indeed Akainu's protege, Jonathan would already be familiar with some of his tacticsβ¦

RE: Welcome to Arlong Park!
oh well, the weeing incident aint the weirdest thing they'll do lol or is it? Can't decide lol, and let me say now, series 2 is by far and easily, WORSE than series 1, the overall plot is better and it fleshes out some of the characters more, but it is very dark, and very twisted, especially the last 2 or 3 eps or so.
Oh I agree. The whole nosebleeding thing and Papa Lazaroo (sp?) among others made Series 2 the best. I was't too fond of Season 3, though my mum thinks that's the best.

RE: Thundercats (Roar)
My friend was telling me about the wierd plot of an episode, where the ocean had a plug (like in a bath tub) and the villains wanted to pull it out and drain all the water from the world, and the thundercats had to protect the drain at the bottom of the ocean.
My favourite episode is the one when Tigra becomes addicted to
drugsa fruit that causes him to hallucinate. And those robot bears were just weiiird.
