@Forbidden:
Batman Beyond? Was that one of the horrible Tim Burton ones, or am I thinking of something else?
Well, I thought the Tim Burton ones were good, especially compared to the disastrous 3rd and 4th films.
Batman Beyond is an animated series that takes place in THE FUTUR, where Bruce Wayne is old and some hip young teenage rebel takes on the Batman suit, except this time the Batman suit is a ROBOT SUIT that flies. New Batman fights boring futuristic villains. Basically it was, in my opinion, a very tired, tryhardy attempt to make Batman "edgy" and "cool" to the new generation but they didn't realize that Batman is badass already. However, I did kind of like the Batman Beyond movie "Return of the Joker."
Right now, I am dressed in some of my renaissance garb. Today is bittersweet for me though. Witch's New Year's (happy) plus the one year aniversary of my lil sister's best friend's death(sad).
Comes in with Sacks of Candy
looks at time
Wow.. only 8:24pm? Hmmm I'm back too early.
Meh I got Candy though XD
I love Halloween =)
I just went trick-or-treating an hour ago. I went as Rougue Town arc Nami and I carried my Sanji plushie in my TOT baggie he really wanted to come lolz. Plus he seemed to not resist my Nami look. I'll post pic of my costume soon as I get a cam. ^^
I just finished watching the Exorcist…...................... and wetting myself.
Well, uh, this ava/sig of mine are my Halloween internet costume
I dressed up as one hell of a ghetto Statue of Liberty at work today though. I wore one of those foam headbands I got from when I went to NYC and used a couple of garbage bags for the toga. GHETTO MAXTREME.
I had the best halloween, I went over to my friends and watched Zombie Movies! I watched Dawn of the Dead, Land of the Dead, and I couldn't watch Day of the dead cuz the damn tape wouldn't work. But now I have a fear of Zombies; and I now train my body and mind to fight off a Zombie Invasion! waits in room with a sword in hand :glare:
I absolutely love Halloween. The one holiday we have in this country where everyone have fun and acts silly. I passed out candy today but the costumes were weak. Most of the kids just came in casual clothing.
Daylight savings time extends to November in 2007. Which means most of the activities will happen in daylight. I wonder if this will affect the holiday?<_< @omnichild:

Hmmm, you're a Wiccan? Sorry to hear about your tragedy. I wish you all well.
I haven't trick or treated since I was 7. And I went out as Kazuma, Shell Bullet 2nd form and figured I might as well knock on some doors. They don't all give chocolate so I might get something good. Problem is I saw no one out last night at all….so I just went to five places. Then when I got home I remembered a cute girl's house and I totally forgot to go there!! Dammit! Now what excuse do I have to knock on her door? >__>
I went trick or treating for a few hours as Scarecrow from Batman Begins, and then went to my friend's house and got trashed while watching the Family Guy movie and later House of Wax (though I passed out during it). And now I have no clue how I got home. ^_^
This was so bizzare. I only get a few trick or treaters, and the few I get are the pretty weird ones. One of the kids who came to my door was a young asian boy dressed as Bon Clay. He had the costume with the swan shoes and everything, even had some tiny painted lines on his legs to make it look like leg hair. Pretty weird. Too bad he didn't want me to take a picture of him.

Did you actually ask to take a pic of him?! Imagine that…..
AW: hey kid you look cool can I take a pic of you?
...............
Kid: Mommy Mommy!! that strange person asked me to pose for him!!
O yeah and I was watchin' blair which project at about midnight last night, such a wrong decision. I might not like halloween but it doesn't mean I can't get the Be-Jesus scared outta me.
lol I'd love to have seen a Bon Clay, I bet I woulda been spooked out by him lol
Anyways, in my house Haloween is still going due to us going to see something called Vampires ROCK tonight lol
I actually have seen a pic of someone cosplaying as Bon Clay. Hold on a minute and I'll post a link to the picture.
EDIT-
Cosplay Bon Clay
hehe! nice Bon Clay XD
We don't do Halloween here where I live, or at least I thought so.
Somebody rang the door bell and there was this little girl with a spooky mask. That freaked me out, dammit. I thought a midged has come to rob me or worse! Then she went "trick or treat" and that didn't help at all. God. Even after I got rid of her I was still confused quite of while until I finally realized it was a Halloween thingy.
So, all the kids out there, please don't adopt weird foreign customs - at this rate you're causing me a heart attack.
XD I love that story Yoska. Made my day.
I haven't trick-or-treated in three years (last two were due to marching band stuff and I just didn't feel like it this year). I just stayed home, givin' candy to all the little kiddies. I was upstairs at one point in my room, playing Vector Man, then went back down after about ten minutes. I missed seeing a little kid dressed up as a John Deere tractor! My mom thought it was hilarious.
I got lots and lots of candy until some 18 year olds stole it! I dressed as a cat and I got all wet from the rain.
ouch, that must have been bad
So thats my costume so far… in the end its going to be a "Kissing Booth"
Theres just a little doodle..
Strings….why are you so badass? You're like the Zoro of the board.
I was thinking of going to work that day as the Headless Horseman, only wearing a huge jersery since I'm tall and its the only thing that'd reach far enough,
basically wearing a helmet with attached piece of wood have shirt draped over it and carrying a plastic pumpkin in hand
I was thinking masked wrestler or something this year.
I'm dressing as Mr. Burns.

nuff said, getting it next week sometime, even if I aint going trick or treating (actually I'm going to college all haloween night)
I'm going to take a guess and say it's a Doctor Who character.
edit-
A-yup.
Strings….why are you so badass? You're like the Zoro of the board.
Hey thanks, what about your costume? Gonna bust out the HG?!
I'll be sure to post some pictures of the "booth" when they are done and hopefully business will be "booming".
Hey thanks, what about your costume?
I dunno, if I do dress up it's a sure thing that I'll be the only person in a 3-mile radius (let alone work place) to do so ^O^ I've been thinking about being a lazy ass and pulling another Luffy.
But all of that depends on whether or not my bosses will let me ^O^
I wonder if my work would let me. I was thinking I could pull off shanks pretty easy. I've got the right haircut at the moment. Question: I've got dark blonde hair. (say Al's hair color from FMA) if I died it red how it is, how red would it be? or would I have to bleach it first if I wanted any red to show?
btw, looks at strings costume….....rolls eyes I don't know what your seeing greg. :P
I haven't gone trick-or-treating in like 2 or 3 years. I live in a apartment complex so even if I wanted to get some free candy doubt I could.
I'm gonna be L for halloween. Though I dunno if I'll have long enough hair but that's alright.
I going to be Wolfman from Kinnikuman for Halloween. I got the Sumo outfit and i need something to put on my face so i can looked more like Wolfman because he has no nose nor pupils

you can usually get contacts that you can put in your eyes to give them the no pupil look.

or you could wait till the day after halloween and buy the candy really cheep.
Probably won't dress up, but will definitly party and watch horror movies on tv.
Depending if I work on Halloween, I'll put on my Leaf Headband and go as a Narutard.
I hate halloween.
I am quite fond of Halloween and was for a while planning a lovely Doctor Girlfriend (Venture Bros.) costume, but then I found out that I have rehearsals for a play on Halloween that I absolutely can't miss until late at night, so there really wasn't any point in going through with it that I could see.
Oh well, I suppose there's always next year. Maybe.
@Bad-Beat:
I hate halloween.
well that was quite cold and disapointing. :( don't like halloween huh. How come? think it's one of those "halmark holidays" or your house always gets egged, or you got sick from eating too much candy one year?
Every year I celebrate Halloween with a marathon of horror movies. We don't have the "trick or treat" thing in my country, but we have the costumes, at least in parties managed by the school institutions.

I gave some reasons back before last halloween..
@me:
I don't like Halloween myself, I have personal reasons for it but I also hate the things it promotes to kids.
1. Trick or treating, just go up to people's houses and expect sweets, you don't do it on any other day why halloween?
2. Pranks, going around egging people's houses and crap like that.
3. It seems wrong that kids are going around dressed as demons and stuff thinking that it is cool. When really all it's doing is making ckids forget the wrong ways to behave. That's all just in my personal opinion, if people just go around people's houses and party I'm cool with that, I do it myself, I'm just not fond of kids going around full of greed and crap.
It's all just another day on the calendar to me but companies and media have tried to milk trying to make it into some big franchise. I really see no point in it whatsoever.
I'm going as a foreigner from an Eastern European country who has just come to Ellis Island in the early 1900's.
My Halloween will consist of me going to GameStop and picking up my copy of Final Fantasy XII.
Yay pseudo-holiday spirit!
wow bad beat. I'm sorry you feel that way. I think egging people's houses, should not be a halloween tradition. As for kids getting spoiled over expecting candy; if a kid is spoiled, it happened before they went out expecting candy.
but hey, that's ok. It's interesting to hear other people's opinions on things.
What I believe is even worse than egging houses is egging moving vehicles. One Halloween, or perhaps it was the night before Halloween, I was making cupcakes and ran out of icing, so I asked my mother to take me to the grocery store to buy another can of icing. Along the way, there was this group of guys who just bombarded the front windshield of the car with eggs while the car was in motion. Another year, not only did someone egg my father's car, but they also smashed out all of the windows.
The only part of Halloween that I really like is the whole dressing up thing. I'm a big fan of costumes.
Edit: Oh yeah, and candy corn. That stuff's amazing.
I'm going trick-or-treating this year. %D I'm going as Luffy (almost done with the costume, although it's not that great… Eh well, I tried), and my lil' sis (who just recently got hooked on One Piece) is going as her favorite character, Zoro. Her costume is turning out better than mine, mur. >>
I'm probably going to be freezing in my costume and I'm not sure if anyone will know who me and my sis' are (since no one in my subdivision seems to even acknowledge the existence of videogames and anime, it seems), but OH WELL. XD
Can't go trick or treating anymore, I'm a tad old for that. Thats what buying the candy is for later . However, I just like dressing up because I can. Thankfully I only have 2 classes on Halloween, I'll be a distraction for people doing their presentations on that day, mwa ha ha ha.
I'm going as Jill Valentine this year, hopefully with a zombie puppet. I figure having a puppet is easier than having someone dress up as one.
@Roz:
Another year, not only did someone egg my father's car, but they also smashed out all of the windows.
Thats so not cool, egging is one thing, at least you can clean it off, but smashing the windows is just downright disrespectful.
I find it pointless to egg houses or cars, what a waste of eggs. Seriously you can egg houses anytime of the year, so why just the sudden influx on Halloween.
