Last night, I attempted to watch Queen, the sneaky bastard. And I was successful. Here is the gist of my report:

I heard someone making noise in their sleep, but I couldn't make out what sort of noise or what was said. It turns out that what I heard was Queen.

For a moment, I thought that I saw them smiling. It seriously gave me the creeps.

They got up and started sneaking toward the exit, moving quietly but fast.

Suddenly, however, they stopped.

For a moment, they stood there, looking quizzically at the rubble at the far side of the exit from the first room.

Then, without doing anything else, they turned around and sneaked back into camp.

That's all, folks.

So, you should be able to see now why I'm fully convinced that Queen wasn't the murderer. But… this means that one of the rest of you is.

Now, if we account for all the people who did something "sneaky" last night (i.e. used their Stealth ability), we've got:

Queen, attempted murder. Watched by me, and read by Hannya-boy.

Batman, followed Hannya-boy. Read by Snowy-girl.

Nami, allegedly attempted theft. Read by Bat-boy, but she could have been trying something else… like murder.

Monet, allegedly attempted following. Read by no one. Very unusual. I don't know what to think.

Hannyabal, allegedly attempted following/watching. Read by no one. Not surprising if he actually was just watching, but very unusual if he was trying to follow. I don't know what to think.

I'm the only one that didn't try using stealth last night. Weird.

Hmmm putting this together with my thoughts… Points to Nami or Monet for me.

Either attempted but failed stealth doesn't actually trigger suspicion... Which would implicate Nami.
Or successful day actions increase willpower which shields from suspicion... Which would implicate Monet.

This will make me look more suspicious, but I would rather be suspicious than establish a potentially false assumption going forward.

I hate to do this, because I think that Snowy-girl's participation has been top-notch. I am also convinced that the murderer was either Monet or Nami, but Nami-chan's claim of attempted theft is very fitting. So…

I guess I should attempt to defend myself i_n some sense_. Some of you think I have been trying to shift blame away from myself and in response I would like to point out that so far I have:

Literally shown off that I still had the gem and destroying a potential alibi for myself.
Admitted that I have high stealth and could have done it.
Admitted that I have high willpower and could have gotten away with it.

I'm not acting out of self preservation here. I have consistently admitted to things that incriminate me for the sake of increasing the available knowledge to the group.

Just keep in mind that requesting them will make it seem you have a lower athletics score, which could potentially be harmful if someone takes advantage of it.

I needed them because I have a magnificent athletics score of 1.

Yes, it sounds very off. I suspect that Snowy-girl is lying about her night action, otherwise she should have easily been able to follow Nami-chan.

I still think we should just lynch Queen for attempted murder and work on trying to figure out who the real killer is the next day. We can use our night actions, since we might except them to murder again, whoever they are.

But I guess I start the bandwagon for Queen, since it is a safe bet, I'm sure they might kill again. I probably try to use a better night action like watch or follow, to help uncover the truth. Wish we had more evidence to nail Ussop's murderer.

Just to be clear, I was working under the assumption that the follow action contested your stealth vs. the target's perception or stealth. If I was wrong, then I sincerely apologize for confusing everyone.

Everyone can do one action per night. Be imaginative in your actions, you can use your attributes to think of stuff that you want to do. For example:

You can kill, which will be a battle between your stealth vs the targets athletics
You can follow someone, which will be roll of the dice on your stealth
You can try to watch, which will be a battle between your perception vs their stealth
etc.

Think of what you want to do, you have 24 hours to decide.

To be fair, there is a chance that you performed the murder and then lied about your report on Hannya-boy.

And, just to make sure we're checking all the boxes, it's also possible that I performed the murder and am fabricating my report on Queen, knowing that he would have been late to the kill.
