Woahhhh, that's a difficult question. But when looking back to the youtube stage review it's first launch around Aug last year and when I check the Event held on that month it was Hina's Resort. So counting from current event Alvida > Kuro > Arlong > Krieg > Morgan > Hina. That's three months from now on.
When Kuro event come there will be one more difficulty added which is Expert using 30 stamina. You will need to play Elite stage as much as possible to get GP Ussop manual. Save Expert for later.

Expert is a lot harder. Turtle hit you more than 1000+ and the damage boss deal to you is 2x or 3x compare to elite.
Leveling up GP Ussop is important if you can Max his special this game will be a lot easier. I suggest you to play Elite because Expert drop only Sogeking manual which is not as good as GP Ussop.
And when you try leveling special you will meet another frustation for this game lol.

There's a trick to beat Mihawk using Turtle but first you need one Mihawk and friend's Mihawk to do that.

Golden Pound Usopp is a permanent member of my team, so no problems there. I'll have to start working on leveling Alvida if she's good to use against Mihawk. I have Fat Alvida but haven't put anything into her towards leveling her yet. I need to make a point of spending all my energy on the Beri island over the weekend. I'm finally running out of all the money I hoarded up when I was grinding in vain for Buggy during his event, so now I can't afford to level anybody up anymore.

I believe top 5 is Arlong, Ashura Zoro,both Luffies and then Mihawk, Smoker could be here but I think he doesn't have his Biker evolution yet(I dont have him so I cant confirm this).
According to the Blogger they seem to be releasing the new characters a lot faster than expected, the SHs came like almost one month before the date he predicted, so I'm expecting the WB pirates to come by the time Mihawk comes around, so there will be more heavy hitters by then, WB, Vista, Marco, Izo and Blamenco all have pretty high attack, WB will dethrone Arlong :P.
Since my main team is Slashers I really need Mihawk so I'm going to waste my gems on it, goinjg for the 40stamina version since apparently has 100% drop.

Question… I always read that there are characters who can break armors very well (like crabs) How do I know which character can do it? See nothing in the stats

they're talking about special moves. there are some chars that can deal fix damage regardless of enemies' defense. sanji is one of the example.
they might also talk about chars like ashura zoro which attack 9 times/hits which is great for crabs as opposed to enraged arlong which only hit 4 times.

I've been using Cabin Boy Helmeppo's special for the Elite Alvida stage, to reduce all enemies DEF to 0. Along with a Nefertari Vivi as a friend captain to heal me every turn, and the rest of my team as slashers led by Arlong, I've been able to repeat that stage fairly quickly (aside from waiting for Helmeppo's special to activate…)

I lucked out and got a Lion's Song Zoro. I already had recently evolved Ashura Zoro, but all my other green characters are pretty weak so I haven't used his captain ability yet. Haven't had much success on power ups, as it has mostly given me normal increases.
I also finally got to evolve my Miss All Sunday into Nico Robin after getting that seahorse I needed yesterday. I was hoping to get a new Nami for my Int team, but just pulled a regular Nami instead.

Yes Gear 3 Luffy is one of the best leaders ingame, Zoro and Nami are great also.
As for recomendation, your team seems to have no synergy, Luffy is only boosting himself and Arlong, I guess either make a strenght team or a Slasher team to maximize your damage, I curently use a Slasher teams and its awesome and with Mihawk coming they will become event better but I believe Luffy Gear 3 teams are just as good.

This game has sucked me in, hook, line, and sinker. I'll be darned if I'm spending any money on it, though. And the drop rates can burn in hell.
I run a 5* Ace team and a Zeff team, I'm leveling an Arlong team, and I'd love to build an INT team for my juicy v2 4* Nami and Brain Point Chopper I picked up yesterday.

I managed to get Usopp Hammer, but nothing else of value from my pulls. I had three free pulls from saving up gems, and then was very bad and bought another 30. From the ones I bought, I got Tashigi, Nami, Sanji, Alvida, another Nami, and Don Krieg, if I'm remembering all of them. I forget now who my other two gets were from the free pulls. -_- All of them were characters I either already had, or could have gotten through evolving characters I already had. The only good part of those gem pulls is that Krieg, one of the Namis, and Alvida were all fully evolved forms, so it kept me from having to waste Beli and level fodder getting my pre-existing versions leveled and evolved.
