@King:
Well, Marcelo is offense-oriented, so I don't expect him to be good at defense. I agree with Thiago Silva. Juan (the other defender) was also pretty bad.
Our goalkeeper was also nervous because he's the reserve goalkeeper of both our national team and the club he plays for (Fiorentina). He had to replace our main one because he got injured. He hardly plays.
Yeah, I did hear about Mato being a reserve, so that's no fun for him. Hopefully he gains some confidence, because he didn't play badly. He hardly played at all, though.
Even if Marcelo is offensively oriented, he needs to play better. He gave away too many turnovers and when he was in the backfield, he was detrimental rather than helpful. I do agree about Juan as well.
Though, honestly, Egypt is the second best team in that group.
Senegal surprised me with that late goal against GBR, so that should be an interesting group.
EDIT: I predict Uruguay, Great Britain, South Korea, Mexico, Brazil, Egypt, Japan and Honduras to make it through. Belarus, Gabon, and Senegal could be surprises though.
