Woah. This thing started very light-hearted, but then it took a turn and got all dark and edgey. Kinda like this whole series as a whole.

I didn't know how many chapters this side story would be so when the four dudes finished the bad guys that quickly and took the daughter home, complete with them realising "Hey, we could do something good!", I thought this would be the end. So I guess it's understandable I was like "wait wat".

So, the anime is approaching the end as well. He could appear next episode, but it looks like they will pretty much just leave out Houjou. They skipped his first appearances (as well as Itona seeing his father again), as well as the part where the class gets captured and we have the whole gag with the guy that doesn't manage to state his name. Wasn't my favorite part of the manga, since it seemed a little bit rushed, but a pity nonetheless.

I dont mind, considering Houjou was a disappointment(given the hype he had by Karasuma).
