Figured they'd be abandoning the keep. That made sense when they were going to have new games every couple years, and when they were still carrying over choices. Less so when we're now 16 years and two console generations from the first game.
So the decision carry over is probably going to be minimal in this. That pack of werewolves I saved in Origins and then helped out in Kirkwall probably won't be mentioned in this one. And who knows what Alistair will be up to.
Much much better than the trailer. I guess we've just completely abandoned it being a strategy game and are in full out all-action mode. They'd been making that transition but there was still at least some semblance of pausing and creating a strategy and giving commands before.
But between how the dialogue goes in here, that its set years after the previous game rather than weeks, and the re-title, I feel like they're probably actually going to deal with Solas very, very early on but still have the fallout from that, rather than him be the actual big bad you don't see for 50 hours.
....also, Varric goes from being right behind Solas to... not being anywhere for the last minute of the trailer. Combined with what happened to Bianca and him NOT being playable in this one and ... I'm worried about my boy. There's absolutely space in that trailer for an edit to have done bad things to him.
