As I said above, the opening has already changed. FUNimation does not have the rights to air it at this time.
Why drop the anime for this reason when:
1. It's just a opening.
2. You can see it on youtube. -

yes talking about funimation not getting the rights, because why should they care

Are you on pot…........?
-
This is now my 5th fav OP opening.
-
Would FUNimation have to buy the rights to air a new opening? I thought they already had the rights to OP so any opening that comes is included in the fees they already paid.

Funi has the rights to simulcast the series. However, the rights to the opening songs lie with the music artist and their record label, meaning Funi has to get the individual rights to the song in order to use the opening. Funi obviously ran into some issues licensing the song, so while they're allowed to continue simulcasting the series, they're unable to use the new opening.

What kind of logic is this? I don't even….
-
Every time I see someone has posted in this thread, I cross my fingers and hope it's an update on when the full version of this song comes out and not a complaint by someone who doesn't understand licensing issues.
I guess I should be thankful it's been both and not just the latter.

Well, let's just say We go is the opening I hate most, and that is my personal opinion, I respect if anyone loves it, anyway, If have to listen to it for the rest of the series, why should I bother, it's not like the pace is great or the animation is top notch recently, I have the manga to look forward too <3 until they make a "One Piece Kai"ish remake
I must be on pot! or maybe a casual fan
@MasterKingJC:What kind of logic is this? I don't even….
Not that hard >_>
Funimation have no rights for the new opening
Funimation must pay for it
Funimation's budget didn't let them do it
Funimation found it financially better to keep We go currently
Funimation did it once, might keep doing it, might not.
Now, the point, this is a "kind of logic" but w/e you agree with it or not is another story

You're not very smart are you? No one is forcing you to watch "We Go". If you're so upset about it then only watch fansubs, or please just stop watching the anime entirely. The One Piece fandom doesn't need anymore idiots making them look bad.

woah there, you are taking this personally (sorry to say this but also a bit immaturish)
don't know why you are questioning my intelligence in a subject of opinions so I'll ignore it. I never said anyone is forcing me anything, I only cast out my honest opinion, you know, the way I feel without having to twist it for others to feel good.
I might stop the anime, who knows, I'll check the next arc, openings were mostly what keeping me in the anime, I mostly like to read than watch, but no, not doing it for you because you asked nicely, and thanks for speaking as the head of the entire fandom, I bet they nominated you to randomly bash on people with opinions that does not match with yours, what a great image you gave them, I hope I stop making them look bad with me not liking we go and I apologize to them deeply, how dare I. -
You can just open a Youtube video of the song before every episode and watch it there, then skip the old opening and just go straight to the episode, if you really want.

that is actually not bad, lol, needs effort on my part, the new opening is actually quite good and loved it so far.

Well probably not that, considering they always get pulled down. Sooooo…......yeah.

There's one particular video I know of for Hands Up! that has avoided being taken down all these months. I don't remember it really being HD but it's there.

Full version is out

Thank you so much, ladyakatsuki.

Thank you very much, i love Hands Up :)
-
Someone uploaded it to Youtube in really great quality:
-
did they make a instrumental too
-
So are there different versions of this song or something? Looking on amiami they have Nami ver. Brook ver. Chopper ver (with a picture of Law on. Go figure.) and different versions for all of the crew. Just wondering if it's just different pictures or are the cast singing in too?
-
They're just different pictures. All three tracks (Hands Up!, Hold On, and We Are!) are sung by Kota Shinzato and are on every CD, despite the cover variants.
-
The single is the same only the jacket is different, there is 11 version of it, 9 straws, law and all of them.
i got Zoro version, i ripped my cd in case you are interest, only the jacket is not scanned because i'm lazy :3password is roro chan@ap and don't redistribute anywhere else please, but you can link to this post though :)
btw do not forget to support and buy it as well, it's only few dollars!
-
Thank you very much, Roro Chan.
I'm already listening it!
-
Thank you for the release. However, it appears that the regular edition of this single does contain the instrumental versions of the songs, whereas the limited edition does not. Could someone please be kind enough to upload the contents of the regular version? Thank you.
