With main characters, we've seen them for so long, I don't think they could successfully be hiding a relation in the canon, so just Usopp x Kaya (so sweet! <3)
I have to wonder what happened at Arlong Park, all those males with no females in sight… and I saw a really cute Chuu x Arlong picture, so I guess I can support that. Nami x Arlong too (only as rape scenes to preserve the appropriate purity of the characters)
I want to see Miss Goldenweek paired with someone equally sweet and non-threatening... so I guess I can support Ms GW x Mr 3, but if he gets mean to her, I have the uncontrollable urge to tie that ponytail of his into a 6!
Theory: Smoker x Tashagi (I know, ZxT fans shoot me now). She's not competent enough to be where she is, so perhaps she is gaining the Captain's favour in another way.

I agree. A 21 year old Tashigi– say she joins the Marine at 18 and gets assigned to Loguetown. Smoker's love for her keeps him from noticing her faults as an officer, and keeps her around for three years.

Actually, it's the ONLY way it belongs.
There's no other way you can successfully pair those two and make it canon-compatible.
Arlong wouldn't take Nami for reproduction (biological issues and a matter of impure children) or love (there's no way he could admit to loving her without losing credibility with his men), and Nami would never be receptive to any seduction he can offer. OTOH, rape makes perfect sense. He gets to show his power AND torment humans, and Nami can blame it on "ooh, he's bigger and stronger and will flatten Cocoyashi if I don't"
If you want to write "Arlong and Nami sat around sharing a giant ice-cream sundae while Hatchi sat in the background trying to cram a lolly in his bizarre mouth opening", fine, but don't expect me to call it remotely credible.
(What is it with me and Hatchi-as-the-adorable-manchild?)

It's silly to assume there is no sex in the OP world, just that it isn't a focal element of the main story. Either that, or Zoro isn't sleeping all the time he's in his room alone. XD XD XD

Oh, fanfic. I didn't know we were talking about fanfics. If you want to put an ARLONGxNAMI rape scene in a fanfic, I got nothing against that. And I never said that sex doesn't exist in the OP world, just that it isn't acknowledged.

Well, I'm not too big on anime couples. I just don't really care unless there's some important chemistry between the characters or a really good reason as to why the characters are a couple. That being said, I would have to say that my favorite anime coupling is Shinji and Kaworu from Neon Genesis Evangelion. I love how their relationship started out, how it worked, and how it made Shinji feel. -

After watching DB, I was totally pissed off that so many minor characters got passed over until that last Genkidama against Kid Buu. Those guys ruled, and Lunch wasn't even a minor character. She should have utterly gotten together with Tien.
The only coupling I can think of, in a non-ending, non-obvious setting, would be Zoro-Tashigi. It's because of irony, it is.
