Just found it myself:
One Piece Gigant Battle! 2 "Shin Sekai" - Nintendo DS
-
Just found it myself:
-
Just by looking at the website and what we already know that fills those gaps I see maybe Hawkins, Hina and either someone we don't know yet or wiper filling that 3 gap if we do have anyone else. Even then that'll only be because of fan request like with wapol
-
according to that trailer moria IS in the game, he's included in that big group shot near the top around the 4:05 mark, above the dugong and next to perona
-
I saw Caribou. Is he a support? And is there a possibility that a character we've haven't seen yet in the manga be in the game and somehow made available after he/she shows up.(I don't have a Nintendo DS,so i dunno if thats even possiable)

We know he's in the game (he was in the last one, after all), but it was confirmed that he's only a support character, which is why we're disappointed.
@Baou:

Caribou's playable, and the DS doesn't support DLC (I think the 3DS might at some point, but this game is for the regular DS).
-

The 3DS actually already has a form of DLC. Some games have extra things added to them with SpotPass, and (at least for some games, not sure about all of them) it's not stuff already on the card being unlocked, it's actually new things being added.
-
so looking at the official website the only ones i couldn't guess is the last page and the fishman page cause if you put deckens and hody in the fishman page then there will be 2 missing characters in the last page and why is hacchan not in the fishman section? and even if you put hody and decckens in fishman page it still is missing one character is it tiger or neptune?
and is marigold and sandersonia present here like the first one? i can't wait!!!
-
I think Moria might be support, cause he's on the website, but doesnt have a vid.
Also, who do you think is the final marine?
-
Moria IS Support. Not playable. Not not in. He is in and he is support.
-
@somebodyudon'tknow:

ffffffffffuuuuuuuuuu-
-
@Baou:

It's Hina.
Final Fishman I think will be Shirahoshi.
-
Yeah the two space next to fishman pirates are probably shirahoshi and then the 3 princes as one support
-
They should delay this game until December. The fights are just beginning!
-
actually it appears as if the fights are just ending
-
can someone found a better risolution version of this full version of hody and decken scan?
-
What day does the guide book come out? Is it the same day as the game?
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
i also noticed we only have 2 spots left unfilled out of the spaces on the website. Personally i'm hoping it's pauly and sabo as both fit the section of non-pirates otherwise i would've said the fake strawhats (note this is assuming that shirahoshi and princes are in spaces next to Fishman island)
-
Probably they are Shirahoshi Neptune or the princes, because Hody, Decken and Hyozou will be with Jinbe and Arlong.
-
Usually, there is always a playable character in the various section of the roster page. So one of the spot must be Caribou and the other Coribou or Demalo Black. The supposed Royal Family support will be in the "Others" section.
-
Actually that has been true so far. Good point and that would mena the fake straw-hats could be in this as well which is awesome :D

The famitsu review is out:

Well that's not so bad, if it doesn't come to America (a 8/10 chance it won't) I'll just pirate the Japanese version then =|.

you could always buy it or even wait for a European release and buy that!

I have the feeling that it wont come out in europa

Hum, since the French video games websites receive various press releases about the game, I doubt that they won't release the game here.
BTW, I've got a theory on why Moriah isn't in the game and Vivi, Koby or Drake are: for balance purpose !
We've seen on a old blog update that the type of Devil Fruits change the gameplay and the abilities of the characters. The problem is that Moriah is a Paramecia and there is already plenty of them in the game ! Look at the list:
Normal humans: Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Usopp, Franky, Mihawk, Vivi, Koby, maybe Shanks (9)
Zoans: Chopper, Marco, Lucci, X-Drake (4)
Logia: 3 Admirals, Crocodile, Enel, Smoker, Ace, Cariboo, Blackbeard (9)
Paramecia: Luffy, Robin, Brook, Magellan, Kuma, Hancock, DoFla, Buggy, Whitebeard, Kid, Law, Shiki, Ivankov (13)I've put the Mugiwaras only once, not added the Fishmen (since in the first game, Jinbei had specials abilities, the others must have too) and Wapol (becase he have special abitilies).
So Moriah would have taken the spot of a humans or a Zoan. ;)

hmmm…odd. If the game were to come to Europe, It would be sometime late next year, possibly around the same time next year (since that seems to be the trend). Seems kind of late to releasing DS games at that point. The newest DS game I can think of is Devil Survivor 2 (US), which is being released 1Q of next year.
-
Hey rated it 8889, yet nothing deeper than that? I really want to hear how it holds up to JUS. Hopefully its much more smooth than the last one…
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
Website updated. Doflamingo confirmed~!
-
Anyone planning on getting this when it comes out as opposed to later?
-
Moria confirmed to be NOT playable.

i am very close to preordering this game in the next day or so. I have an R4 and thats how i play Gigant battle (European), I like it so much that i would really like to get it but with Gigant battle 2 on the way i think ill just get it and if they release it in english i can use a rom on my R4
-
Gigant Battle 2 got the highest score by Famitsu in years for an OP game w/ a 33/40! the next highest was UCSP and UC Ep. 1 which both got a 31/40

That's strange. I can't imagine it being better than UCSP.
-

Still have it pre-ordered. Unfortunately it's out same day as Zelda so doesn't take priority. Not quite as excited for this as I was before we had most of the char reveals too so :/
-
one week to the day!!!

i think there is a demo of the game , if you have a jp region | wii | you can play it at Wii Channel .
-
GameFAQS user Pacmatrix downloaded the demo on the japanese Wii and here is his first review:
_"Just played (Still playing) the demo. Here are some of my initial thoughts from it.
New World Luffy is just fluid. His attacks and movements flow all together. They really stepped it up with the animations. Even Law, while not as show off as Luffy, has some pretty slick attacks.
Supports mapped to the L button plus button press. Makes them a whole of a heck lot easier to use and call out. Muscle memory from the first game still has me pressing L to initiate the super attacks. Annoying for me but will go away in time.
Background continues to impress. Can't wait to see other stages.
One thing that I saw in the demo with Luffy that was mention in the blogs was having an attacks property change when the button is held down. With Luffy most of his attack can be charge for impressive results. I love this and I hope more characters are like this as well.
Overall this demo cemented how much work they put into the battle system. I'm def picking it up on release (limited edition if I'm lucky). Going to play a bit more with Law to really see what he has to offer."_
-
What does Law do other then the room/cutting thing?
-

This:

Do you happen to know where I can find those, but for other characters?
-
That was posted on the official blog, but just for Law for now.

Thank you. I have to say, this is sounding really interesting and opens some new possibilities.

Probably because they got so many people asking how they're gonna do a moveset for a char who has shown off no moves lol
-
sorry if this was asked earlier but does anyone know exactly how the save data transfer will work? Will it give me all the characters and supports i have unlocked from the first one? and i hope it will work for a European version to japanese

You need of 2 DS. In one of them OPGB and in the other OPGB2. Next you transfer with Wi-Fi

-
where you'll buy the game? the simple rom don't work on Ds, then you'll buy it, right?
-
i have used playasia in the past to get Unlimited cruise, so i will likely get Gigant battle 2 from them

Thanks for letting us know! I actually just played the demo!
Luffy and Trafalgar Law seem to be the demo's only playable characters both with Sanji, Bepo, and Dadan as support. The stage played on is the Luffy, Ace, Sabo backstory setting. Demo has no voices.I'll explain the supports if you're curious:
Sanji - He does that love tornado spin and fires up and damages a male character when bumping into them. I know for sure something else happens when he bumps into a female.
Bepo - He appears a bit further than most supports facing toward you and does a few martial arts moves. Looks like a nice way to trap an opponent between his and your combos.
Dadan - She closely follows you and hits opponents with a wooden club when opponents get close.Luffy moveset
[hide]Up+B
1. Jump Flip - [Looks like the one he did to dodge Pacifista's laser at Saboady in chapter 601]
2. Fireworks
3. StormUp+Side+B
1. Luffy's fist engulfs in purple flame [wait where'd that come from?] then punches up.
2. Gigant PistolBasic B Combo
1. Punch [Hold for some dodge move afterward] _2. Jet Bullet [Hold for dodge move]
3. Three Jet Pistols, if holding Side it's a Gigant Whip instead.Down+Side+B - Jet Gatling, hold for Armament Jet Gatling
Down+B - Conqueror Haki counter that paralyzes opponent.
Air+Up+B - Bell, hold for Head Armament Bell
Air+Up+Side+B - Jet Bazooka
Air+B - Jet Whip, hold for Armament Jet Whip
Air+Down+Side+B - Jet Hammer [from chapter 618]
Air+Down+B - Stamp Gatling
Dash+B - Jet Bazooka
Throw - Tosses opponent back over him.
Special 1: Jet Pistol used to defeat Pacifista at Saboady.
Special 2: Elephant Gun
Special 3: Elephant Gatling

awesome thanks for that, i was very interested in Luffy's new move set, and i just pre-ordered the game today
-
So, Dadan is like the Kung fu Dugong?
