Musicmatch Jukebox - http://www.musicmatch.com/download/free/index.cgi?OS=pc&MODE=input (Limited speed for free version)
Anyway, might as well give you a link with a listing: http://www.dailymp3.com/cdrippers.html
If you don't mind non-free alternatives, I can help you with that in both ways .
Realplayer has a mp3 ripper. I use that.
Okay, thanks guys. ^__^ goes to try them out
eww, don't touch those
go get EAC(exact audio copy)
it's free, the site you can find at: http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/ , and it allows the use of external encoders, such as LAME. You can find LAME at: http://lame.sourceforge.net/ , just find the latest binary of it, and put the exe into your EAC folder.
The options are pretty self explanetory, however if you do need more help please post in here.
what's the difference? the quality?
Try iTunes. It rips CDs like a dream.
For what its worth I use cdex
Its free, tiny and is lame friendly (I think it uses lame by default and lame rules).
I think I've heard of EAC before and if it uses lame then its probably good stuff too
Can't vouch for iTunes. I've only used it to buy music and transfer stuff to my iPod so far.
quality, and customization options. EAC allows for a wide range of customizations so that you can rip your MP3s just the way you want with the proper tags and naming formats etc.
