@Enzeru: To be fair, Luffy did blast him miles away with only parts of his body, and he had to find his way back while using crappy rafts in an ocean he can't swim in.

I'd feel pretty pissed too.

Good for you! I hope others will feel the same. Something that really bothers me about Whitebeard is that most people's idea of "campaigning" is just re-posting Whitebeard's dying standing page and virtually nothing else. I got really tired of seeing that last year. I saw one Whitebeard campaign that actually made me laugh and one awesome image that was fanart not a manga panel. Dervish, trashcat, and icel all brought some really interesting croc campaigns to the tourney and I hope it will be like that this year.

The plus side is that I literally have the perfect image for Croc vs. Whitebeard. I hope I can snag first post on that one.

I love Ubiq's way of referring to them. I think it should be more towards Akainu. Let's face it: both of them have had their dickwad moments. So it should be a contest to see who is the bigger dickwad. Hmm~ it's a tough call, but I know I'm going for the red dog. And not because he killed Ace either.

The way I see it is:

Akainu killed a bunch of innocent men, women and children of his own species because of a possibility of an escapee being on board

Arlong gets pissed off when any of his brethren are hurt in any way possible and wanted to create a world for his fellow fishman

Arlong is the lesser of two evils, imo
