Mattel One Piece Figures (PICTURES!!!)
-
-
intresting figures…cant find them though
-
That's cause they sold like shit, I'm finding them at dollar stores for $1-2. No Zoro's tho, they are the one's which looks nice.
-
where are they sold anyways?
-
Toys 'R Us sells the "Pi Ripz" figures for about $6 each.
They also sell scantily clad Zoro - http://toyfair06.asmzine.com/mattel/mattel-one-piece/slides/P1013443.sized.html - which I find puzzling because I thought other figures from that set such as Ace or Arlong - http://toyfair06.asmzine.com/mattel/mattel-one-piece/slides/P1013440.sized.html - had not been released. What I'd really like to know is, what on earth is "ripcord battling action"? I just want a poseable action figure.
-
Jesus, that Zoro is awful. But yeah, I'd buy that Ace, Arlong, and Chopper in a heartbeat. I'm praying for more merchandise (and better, but this probably wont happen cause they hold the license) once FUNimation starts airing.

That just looks wrong. -
Well, that's… Uh. Special.
Really special.
-
Could make sword jokes…. but that'll just be beating a dead horse. The picture says it all.
-
That Chopper toy is poorly done. When Chopper is in his horn point, his is not suppose to have an human-like hands

If OP gains popularity once the Funimation episodes start, I expect you'll see more OP merchandise out there, KaizokuFan.
I just wish the quality would be on par with that of the Japanese figs.
-
It would be a dream is a company here would pick up the P.O.P. figures and start distributing them. But that wont happen.

I've seen a few of those toys being sold on this website:
My gosh, most of those look like toys I'd find a toddler dropping in a toilet.

They're on sale at Toys R Us online:

But yeah… I don't know if I'd really want to pay shipping for them. Why couldn't they have just repackaged the Bandai figures as they did in apparently pretty much every other country? :/

I hadn't seen a single Mattel toy until I went to a Dollar Store a few months ago and saw that Elasti-Luffy toy sitting in the toy aisle. Sure enough the first thing it said when I tried it out was that damn annoying laugh which was the worst thing about his dub voice.
