I think years of naruto filler hell are the primary reason why I have a higher appreciation for One Piece fillers. I mean, some of 'em are annoying, but when I watch them, I feel as though at least a bit of thought was put into the episodes.

Actually Kubo made that and the vampire filler so its canon,he is just slow paced so he had to ditch them and the anime used them instead,thats why that Rin guy (Main vampire) showed up in his manga.

One Piece usually does have the best fillers though.

Well compared to the canon hell yeah Bleach has good fillers.

I enjoyed the Bount filler arc before I stopped watching Bleach (back then I didn't even realize it wasn't canon because I hadn't read that far yet). You just know you've got problems when fillers/omake > actual plot.

The only exception to this rule is Hiromu Arakawa's FMA bonus stuff, which is hilarious. Zoro's got nothing on King Bradley's Five Sword Style!! (two in hand, two from ears, and one in his butt).

Meh, I'd much prefer if we got 20-30 episode filler arcs in between the big arcs, or at least a collection of 5 to 7 episodes. Here's a fun fact: If Enies Lobby had started a mere twenty episodes later, we could've had a fairly strong paced arc.

Yeah, but instead of just adding more filler episodes, Toei just has to add filler to the main episode and have plot-hole fillers. I've heard bad things about Buggy and Mr. 3 in Impel Down.

There are pros and cons to each, but I'd MUCH rather have seperate filler arcs than mid-arc filler.

I don't like seeing filler arcs. They don't add to the story line and the villains are lame (ex. eric the whirlwind & magnet twins).
