@Cymelion:
Heh try more.
I've gone back and read the Manga and re-read the manga and been going through the SBS's I have found on the Wiki site which have been translated as best they can I guess.
Congratulations I guess. Not sure what this has to do with what I'm talking about.
I've read through the countless arguments of why Nakama is not that much of an important word and why it's worshiping needs to be stopped - I fell for it's romantacism in the anime but when I learned more about it I accept its meaning and even though I like the word to mean more then it does I know it doesn't and got over that.
You wouldn't even be allowed that romanticism in the main community. They say entire accounts are used to find and gut people who do that out there. They don't come in here though.
I guess I am just more open to the Anime being used as a tool by the author to further embelish on sections of the manga he was unable to do at the time
Wait a minute, ignoring that this is complete and utter bullshit, are you that same guy I chewed out on a chapter thread awhile back?
Oh and by the way that's complete and utter bullshit. You have no idea what the mass production prime time animation industry is or how it works, or for that matter the weekly manga industry.
You're virtually completely ignorant to the point that nothing you just mentioned knowledge wise makes any difference now.
Believing this, this factually nonexistent tripe, is a million times worse then being one of the dongs who loves the word nakama.
ahahahaha, look at you, you actually believe that, goddamn
- the fact that there is evidence of this is something that seems to irk you so much that you are prepared to ignore it all and debase anything but the original works as gospel.
Yeah it was you, it irks me, and 90% of this forum as you failed to notice when a ton of posters turned to look at you with horror on that theadm is because..
1. It's false. And people hate rumors, especially lame ones. OP has had many of them.
2. It's a gross sort of ignorance that misplaces attributes we hold dear into the wrong places.
3. You have literally zero excuse for thinking this because absolutely nothing supports it, so fuck you and your personally concocted ignorance. It's one thing to be lead on by a seeming truth or someone else. But you've made this all up yourself.
You have no "evidence" which is ridiculous to think about in the first if you actually know what these industries involve. All I recall you posting was rayleigh showing up in the anime earlier, which had also happened in the manga earlier, which you apparently didn't know about.
Or you think Oda warning the anime staff about things they shouldn't ignore lest plot holes happened somehow makes the anime his directors cut…well that makes no sense at all in terms of conclusions. Making sure the people working on your story don't fuck up certain important details is a basic part of the authours relationship with people who are adapting his/her stuff. Have you ever actually been involved or seen how these things work?
I can't stop you from making fun of or looking down on the followers of the anime but well it only means you are looking down on the author you favor so well because he loves the anime as much as his own work and laughs and cries with us all as we experience it.
Oda does not love it as much. He's a guy into simple pleasures (he liked the Star Wars prequels for crying out loud). A guy who is probably simply amazed to see his work moving at all. Being made into an anime is a status symbol for mangaka, and a milestone of "making it" that Oda no doubt appreciates.
By the same token, if you think Oda would publish any actual negative thoughts about the anime you are as astoundingly clueless about marketing as you are about how both manga and anime get made.
If you think it's just me, PM Greg and claim to him the anime is Oda's Directors cut. See how that works out for you, telling this to the guy considered the english fandom guru.
and will say sorry when I am wrong.
Where's the apology for this mountain of wrong you're compiling here?
How about for an encore you make a thread about the Pirate's Summit?
Since you like reading wikis so much how about you familiarize yourself with this. http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Myths
This is what you're doing right now. And yes, this forum will hate you for it. Rightfully so.
