@Urouge:
If you're serious about this, it only costs like $10 or maybe less to buy a volume and have it shipped stateside. Finding help with the photoshop stuff is the easiest of the hurdles to get over. Attaining the volumes and getting them translated are by far the hardest part.
If you get your hands on volume 9 and get it translated, it'll be easy to get the rest accomplished. Of course, the volume would have to be debound and scanned, as well.
Being serious about it and being capable of it are two slightly distinct things; I'm willing to pay $10 to have something purchased AND shipped, that's not unreasonable even on my paltry salary.
Getting a korean friend to translate it, slightly more difficult. I could bribe them with food or something, I guess. The most pragmatic thing would be to introduce them to the series so they want more, too.
Unbinding I don't know about but it doesn't sound hard, really. I can edit and proof it since I actually have some experience with editing foreign texts.
Sounds like there's enough support from knowledgeable people within this community to get the rest of it done, cleaning typesetting editing whatever.
Also it was mentioned earlier by brennen that "Apparently some manwha is only released digitally, so "raws" don't really exist." so that would be pimpin, it's what I was referrin to earlier.
ALSO, I've read that it's likely the new volume will be released in mid-march; this has been said in several places by people who would be fairly likely to know.
Anyway, there's a chance this is all just idle banter while we wait for more chaps to be released, but the MO of this "A-Team" group has me a bit miffed, so I wouldn't mind putting a bit of my own coin and time out there to at least light a fire under their asses. If they knew someone else would just release every time they take too long, they'd lose the ability to pry donations from the fanbase, and that's all I'd really be looking to do.
EDIT: http://forums.mangafox.com/showthread.php?t=140545 <–- this is where I got some of the info I was looking for.
