If Ulquiorra comes back, I sort of hope Kubo has an excuse to explain how or why.
Oh…and as for "two arcs left"...I sort of just imagine it sort of being like the first part of the series or the "Arrancar Arc before Hueco Mundo". In other words, a set-up arc that introduces concepts that will be stretched to hell and annoy us by the end of the series. But somehow this pretty much guarantees that Bleach will reach 2011 and celebrate it's 10th anniversary...
Which at least means that we can have a lot more fun complaining when Kubo screws up the next few years.

Well I agree this series are nothing but a drag at this point but it makes alot of sense too.
Bleach is very popular manga on World even though recent reception has been generally negative even amongs Bleach fans but its still pretty god damn popular.
There are thousands of hopeful mangakas in Japan trying to earn by drawing succesful manga but competition is insane and only a handful of mangakas reach popularity where its actually profitable.
I think I would do same thing as Kubo is doing, even if he run out of ideas and steam and he dont want to risk of making new manga that might become flop he can just milk this current hit manga.
He does not even have to draw backrounds, he dont even have to force plot to his chapters since he can make chapters entirely of sword slashes and beams and double pages with cool poses.
It might lack rich story and charecter development but if its popular and even tolerated then whats the problem? He is not clearly Oda either who draws One Piece because he loves it and its most fun thing to him.

Because there's no way Oda might be in some way motivated by financial gain, right? While all Kubo cares about is money, apparently.

Kubo's stated several times that one of his motivations is to be able to draw whatever cool shit happens to come to mind.

Yeah, he did mention a past arc involving Isshin, so that may be next, then the next short arc, then the big finale arc.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he (or JUMP) was stretching things up just to make sure Bleach gets its own 10th anniversary. Doesn't matter if the series deserve it or not seeing its pretty much the dragging and poor pacing that makes this series long running.

But if he goes that route, given that he's an Espada, there would be no singular "Ulquiorra" reincarnated, but all those souls which made him up.

Yeah the simple excuse if he make that mistake/inconsistency is "Kubo forgot". He doesn't have to literally stated Ulquiorra got reincarnated though. He could just simply draw some character that have the similar design/look like Ulq somewhere in the human world. Maybe put him in Karakura Town where at the end of this arc, everything is back to normal and one day Orihime will stumble across Ulq lookalike on her way to school but not sure if it really him. Either way, Kubo will left it open to discussion to avoid further question about plot inconsistency.

On the forum topic Jump Festa 2010 (NINE!) there was a picture taken that showed Uliquiorra, Stark and Barragan each having numbers pointed towards the pictures. Now what was weird about this was no.4 pointed to Uli which isn't odd. Now it get's odd no.3 was pointed at stark while no.2 was pointed at barragan, granted barragan was already no.2 but stark being 3 had me scratching my head.

Haha! So true! After our suspicions of Kubo making stuff up as he goes, were confirmed, this shouldn't surprise or shock anyone. At least he should've kept some notes on the Espada numbers.

It took 1 Captain, 1 VC, and a Vaizard VC to beat Barragan.

I hope in the next arc the focus will be on the humans like Chad and Ichigo school friends. -

Barragan was just sad. Far more sad than Stark, but not quite as much "sader" as you expect.

Barragan should of been no.1 he looked the most menacing out of the 3. Stark's design came at a close second. I never liked harribel's sailor scout shark uniform.

I actually liked Harribel's design. I liked her sword especially. Her power was just a little lame, basic elemental stuff.

Harribel's main design was great but her released state was 'meh' at best.
Also I thought this was a cool pic of Hollow Ichgo.

Barragan was probably suppose to be number 1 but Kubo probably switched it at the last minute to make the majority of guessers wrong, thinking it was something cool to do. :/

Because I personally hated him and Hisagi so I'm hoping it concludes their fight.And I wonder what Aizen's thoughts of Tousen's death will be,will he ignore it and Tousen realize he wasn't fighting on the side of justice?

Yeah I wasn't sure because of the holidays,but I hear theres a double-issue in January so I was thinking this week there wouldn't be a chapter/episode,but theres still to hoping.
