If you're using imageshack or photobucket or something similar to host, try putting them in these thumbnail links, for our friends still on dail-up & narrowband connections. You don't necessarily have to, just something you might wanna consider.

right click on the desktop, arrange icons after, and then click off the show desktop icons option.
now you should have a clean desktop :)
