does anybody speak dutch here? ..
-
I do .
-
I found 2 nice Japanese tests while browsing Gamefaqs. They test your knowledge of Hiragana and Katakana. They're here:
-
How about Korean? I'm trying to lean it now in school, it would be great if I could practice with someone other people who speak it fluently. I just know some horrible romanizations of Korean so far, learning to write it. :p Naneun Carolyn eayou.

-
so do I !
I believe that there are quite a few dutchies around here but if it's enough for our own thread, I don't really know.
I would visit it though if there was one. -
Dutch here too :p
-
i know vorlianis mugiwara-no-ice kaiolino and tijnn. also speak dutch
-
Beka also speaks it, iirc.
-
wait beka is dutch?or did he learn it?
-
I can't remember, he might be Belgian. It's been a while. =P
Anyway, probably enough people for a thread.

true, but it will probably flooded with french. maybe a thread about "de verenigde Nederlanden" for Flanders and the Netherlands?

I'm also Dutch.

I agree, it's better to make a thread for just Flanders and the Netherlands.
At least then it won't be flooded with multiple languages, which defeats the point of making a seperate language thread. -
@Silent:
I'm also Dutch.

Now i definitely would never even try to learn old Chinese.
-
lol
I am learning a little Chinese and that is a perfect example why I am way better in writing and reading than in comprehension by just listening :D -
I'm happy now with my choice to study Japanese over Chinese when I had the chance, because that's completely insane.
Just listening to the audio clip makes my head spin. -
I've studied French for almost 6 Years. German for 3 Years. Latin for 5. I started Japanese 2 weeks ago. I'd given up hope of learning Japanese (I'd tried before) because just attempting the writing system completely overwhelmed me, but I'm feeling more confident about it again.
Get this, my Teach's name is Kumiko Mitchell! I like the look of Swedish too, after seeing a really great quote on True Blood. But I guess my Goal would be to be able to speak German and French very fluently by 30.
As of now I'm furthering studying French, German and English Literature. (We're reading Shakespeare's 'The Tempest' (Which is getting a big-screen remake in December, and yeah, it might not be the most faithful, but it will help me immerse myself further into the play) Tennessee Williams' 'A Streetcar named Desire' and 'The Great Gatsby')

Awww, no Latin?
-
No portuguese…

I want a thread for Dutch-speakers too, has it been made yet?
