@Ivotas:
And wasn't that the exact same charm she used on Magellan and the Level 6 Prisoners? Didn't she in both situations (with Nyon and at Level 6) do the "I'm scared" thing? And yes, Magellan and many Level 6 prisoners freaked out albeit her being seastone-cuffed. And Ace, Crocodile and Jinbei showed no sings of even caring for it. I'm sorry but if there's anything ridiculous it's to negate this fact that took place in the story itself.
The seastone-cuffs are no argument. We have it proven, black on white that she was able to successfully use the same trick at Level 6 which she has used against Nyon, without affecting the three guys in question. We are in a goddamn prison after all so the guys should show some reaction when an attractive woman comes to visit. But apparently they didn't seem to care.
Except it wasn't some "trick," at least one involving her Devil Fruit powers. Those were both situations that had to do with Hancock's own beauty.
-In level 6 there's the seastone cuffs, that already negates any chance of Hancock being able to use her ability. So using that as a way to say Ace, Jinbei or Crocodile wouldn't be affected by the Mero Fruit doesn't work.
-With Nyon: Hancock wasn't even doing anything, she just acted shy and smiled due to her attraction with Luffy as a reaction. Nowhere in that scene does it even show usage of her Devil Fruit powers.
She acts "cute/vulnerable/shy/etc." and people react to it, whether it's intentional(level 6) or not(Nyon and the other Kuja).
Sigh, all I meant is that there is more guys than just Luffy that can defeat Enel and/or Hancock. Not hundred but definitely more then just Luffy.
Then how does this refute my argument or adds to yours how?
I'm sorry but I'm affraid I don't really catch you here.
You stated it's ridiculous that Luffy's stupidity is what made him immune to Hancock's Mero Mero Mellow. I bring up Usopp's immunity to Perona's Negative Hollow due to his extreme cowardice since they both stem from the same thing.
Each involves a characteristic which made it possible for an immunity to a move that would otherwise completely disable an opponent. So while you may find it ridiculous; it's been done before in the story so your distaste isn't enough to refute it.
Which is exactly what I disagree with because I speak of personal experience. There is several ways for immunity on that field. It might not be the same approach as for Luffy but in the end the result is still immunity. That's all I'm saying.
Using "personal experience" doesn't help prove your point, and is frankly a bad thing to use for your argument. Especially the concept of a woman getting others to do what they want in a Japanese children's comic.
No dice.
