There is something called Hon'yaku Kentei (translation exam) in Japan, and I tried their sample exam. Even though I finished translating it, I don't know if the English has any grammar mistakes / awkwardness / etc. Could you please help me point out those? Might as well, give me grades, too xD (Don't judge on contents, though, I didn't write the original text.)
Thanks.

Make Full Use of Filtering in order to Protect Clients.
The typical example of attacks we receive from the Internet is illegal accesses targeting software bugs or improper settings. These attacks could be avoided by shutting out some communication packets before they reach our computers. In short, we should filter those packets.
One suggestion is to use filtering function comes with routers. The other way is to use personal firewall software that has been popular lately. Just by installing this onto your personal computer, it will shut out illegal packets for you.
Internet connections through ADSL or CATV use ADSL modem or cable modem. These modems usually provide Ethernet ports and if you need to connect only one computer, you can just connect to this port directly.
Though, you won't be able to connect multiple computers to the Internet this way. You can physically connect computers if you use repeater hubs or LAN switches, but multiple computers cannot access the Internet at the same time because usually Internet service providers do not assign more than 1 IP address per account.
In such case, you'll be using something called broadband router. Broadband routers have two Ethernet interfaces and provide NAT function so that you will be able to share one global IP address that you received from your providers on multiple computers. NAT function is used to convert the local IP addresses assigned to each computer to the global IP address that you were assigned from your provider.
