This reminds me of my swine flu thread.
I hear that the World Health Organization is urging tighter controls on availability of antibiotics, due to widespread overuse in some countries. Personally, I think it has more to do with how most antibiotics are delivered into the body. Pop a couple of pills for a cold? Sure, no sweat. Get 20 cc's of Penicillin injected into my butt? I'll wait until it's something worse than a cold.
